Hudson Holdings in Lake Worth

Comment Up

Involved in our local elections by funding a mailer supporting the incumbents, the very people who just voted to upzone their hotel parcels in the downtown. They are also the company that wanted to grab our beach during a secret ITN process in order to make their hotel investment even more lucrative.

Is that any different than Earth First meddling in our city election too? What is it ok for them to fund, manipulate, and influence the election, but not ok for Hudson to? They both have ulterior motives, just different motives. One is to make money and the other is for just pure control, is there really any difference?

Number one--Earth First is NOT involved in our election.
Number Two--It is an environmental group.
Number three--A corporation that has this much influence on a trio commission allowing them to upzone their property and still wanting to grab our beach parcels for development is like night and day wouldn't you say?

Have you looked at the Treasury Reports from this group? No one is funding the opposition other than a few people who really care about our city. To write what you wrote just proves you are clueless to the facts or you are making a bad joke.

@anon 7am--you folks are getting quite desperate. Hudson Holdings is a multi-billion dollar corporations who have employees writing blogs, running for election, and donated thousands of dollars to the incumbents. Earth First! is a local group with less than a dozen members, no money, and doesn't participate in electoral politics.

Is that really all you have?

Amazing that this mailer came out right after your 4 in bed together blog-the low trio and Steven Michael of Hudson Holdings. Bornstein could have been in the bottom of the bed licking their feet.

We are becoming the poster child of influence peddling, corruption, and out of town developer influence on the one remaining low profile city between Miami and West Palm Beach.

Vote for :

Diane Jacques for Mayor
Gary Antieau for Mayor
Ryan Hartman for district 1 Commissioner
Frank MacAlonan for district 3 Commissioner

Preserve our city and save our beach from unwanted development and outside control, and rid ourselves of the most useless City Manager of the 21st century.

The rich support where there buck make more bucks. The middle class and the poor support where they can make a buck to feed, house and cloth their family. Do the money people who are supporting the incumbents campaign give a damn about the people or Lake Worth or the City itself. NO they just see a way to make more money at our expense. To bad the candidates don't have a lot of money to spread the BS that these people are spreading. We are tired of catering to the greedy. Vote for Either Antieau or Jacques, MacAlanon. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The middle class and the poor have a voice too USE IT Stop letting the rich take over our lives.

Anon at 7:54 - You honestly have zero knowledge of EarthFirst!
Why would you state as fact, completely erroneous information of this organization?

Anonymous said...

Because that is what they are used to doing. Spreading erroneous facts about. Look what they did with the electric rates, water rates, crime rates, the mobile home park, nothing but lies, lies, lies. They also use the radical newspaper, The Lake Worth Herald and the Observer to spread their lies.

Hey, Maxwell. Did Hudson Holdings help you buy your spiffy new $40,000 Convertible. Class act. See that middle class voters. Where is your money going?????????

So well said, Tiffany! I'm still chuckling over a visual of Bowtie licking feet at the bottom of the bed. Lynn, how about another photoshop?
On a more serious note, do you think we could interest any one in the IG's office or other oversight department to investigate Pay-To-Play in City Hall?? The FBI hit the motherload a while back in West Palm. Or is this new guy just all paytoplay too? It can't be legal to purchase new zoning yet, is it? I would not put anything past the gang of 3 or HH.

Naturally the brain surgeons on this b.s. blog are right again. hartman is a card carrying member of earth first so there's no way they would ever get involved in the city election. And the Herald is sooooooooo radical. Thanks for the daily laugh.
