A wildly lucky traffic incident was caught on a dashcam, as a car engaged in a high-speed drag race on a major highway in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, skidded across multiple lanes, but did not collide with any other cars.

Speaking to those who voted yes on the Jeff Clemens bill (SB 392) that just passed in the Florida House (HB 761) on a 58/56 vote on raising the speed limit to 75.  Florida becomes the first state east of the Mississippi to raise the limit if the governor doesn't veto it.

Jeff Clemens seems to be working over-time on questionable bills.  He has several in the works, two of which are raising the speed limits on 4 lane highways and passing medical marijuana so that everyone can get a little bit dopey and dipsey.  Now he wants to ease Ethics Reporting requirements just when the people already voted that they wanted more stringent over-sight.

Sen Jeff Clemens wants to raise the speed limit--70 mph is not fast enough for him.

State Sen. Jeff Brandes, R-St. Petersburg, tells WTSP he'll file legislation Tuesday with State Sen. Jeff Clemens, D-Lake Worth, that would increase the maximum speed limit on Florida's interstates from 70 miles per hour (mph) to 75 mph. Brandes and Clemens argued opposing sides of 10 News' red light camera safety investigations earlier this year. Clemens likes red light cameras if you recall.

Let's hope he's not driving that fast after smoking medical marijuana or all speed limit signs will look a little fuzzy like the one above.
