SNAP data - Rooting out Fraud

FTC chairman says Democratic governors are shielding fraudsters by refusing to hand over SNAP data

Federal Trade Commission Chairman Andrew Ferguson accused Democratic governors of blocking the Trump administration's effort to root out fraud in the food-stamp program, charging that their refusal to share recipient data amounts to protecting the people who steal from taxpayers.

Ferguson made the accusation Thursday during an appearance on Fox News' "America's Newsroom," where he laid out a widening rift between the administration and blue-state leaders over access to information about who receives Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.

SNAP is funded by federal dollars but administered by state governments, a structure that gives governors effective veto power over whether Washington can audit the rolls.

The core dispute is straightforward. The administration has asked states to share SNAP recipient data so federal investigators can verify that benefits are reaching eligible Americans, and not illegal immigrants or other ineligible recipients. Red states, Ferguson said, are cooperating. Blue states are not. And he did not hold back about what that refusal signals.
"I don't know what else to infer from the fact that they're not cooperating other than trying to protect the fraudsters, and I don't know what to infer from that other than the Democrats are in on this, and I think it's a huge problem."

Mike Johnson campaigns against Virginia's Redistricting

Speaker Johnson raises $500,000 to oppose Virginia Democrats' redistricting ballot measure

House Speaker Mike Johnson traveled to Great Falls, Virginia, last Saturday to headline a rally against a Democratic-backed ballot measure that Republicans say would let the state's ruling party redraw all 11 congressional districts mid-decade, transforming a narrow 6-5 Democratic edge into a lopsided 10-1 supermajority.

After the rally, Johnson attended a private fundraiser and pulled in $500,000 to fight the amendment, the Washington Examiner reported.

The special election is set for April 21. The stakes, by any honest accounting, are enormous, not just for Virginia voters but for control of the U.S. House itself.

Former Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin joined Johnson on stage in Great Falls. The two framed the amendment as a brazen power grab designed to lock Republicans out of representation in a state that, even in 2024, gave Democratic nominee Kamala Harris only a roughly 5-point margin over President Donald Trump.

Marxist Leftists, the big threat to our country

Marxist Leftists: The Real "Threat to Our Democracy"

"America is a Constitutional Republic; however, the Marxist leftists are doing everything they can to undermine and fundamentally transform our beloved Republic.

Allowing individuals who have violated Title 18 USC 1325 and have entered our country without authorization to have access to our electoral system, the bedrock of our representative democracy, is a threat.

As well, to count these same illegal immigrants as part of our census that determines our representative democracy is unconscionable and dangerous. There is only one reason for this: power.

Another example of how the Marxist leftists are threats to our democratic processes is found with the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC). This is a conglomeration of leftist states, and the District of Columbia, who have stated that regardless of who wins their States’ popular vote, they will only support, with electors, the presidential candidate who wins the national popular vote.

The NPVIC was introduced in 2006, and as of now, there are 17 states, along with the District of Columbia, that are signatories. The 17 States are Maryland, New Jersey, Illinois, Hawaii, Washington, Massachusetts, Vermont, California, Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut, Colorado, Delaware, New Mexico, Oregon, Minnesota, and Maine."

Trump Wins in Supreme Court Over DEI Claims

Supreme Court Told Eight States To Use Their Own Money After Trump Froze These Massive DEI Wealth Transfers

Eight Democratic states sued Trump for freezing millions in so-called teacher shortage grants

They claimed they needed the money immediately to keep programs running.

Their justification? The programs promoted DEI or discriminated based on race and sex.

California, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Colorado, Maryland, and Wisconsin sued immediately. The Supreme Court just told them to pay for it themselves. Five Conservative Justices Say States Have "Financial Wherewithal" To Cover It

The Court sided with Trump 5-4 on Wednesday.

The majority issued an unsigned opinion that basically shrugged at the states' emergency. "Respondents have represented in this litigation that they have the financial wherewithal to keep their programs running," the justices wrote. If the states win later, they can sue to get the federal money back.

That could take years while programs scramble for funding right now.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined the three liberal justices in dissent, though he didn't explain why.

Blue States will have to ask for help from DHS for protesters

Ask me nicely

Jerry McConway from Realtalk digest says, Trump is now pulling all federal agents out of Democrat cities in terms of providing assistance with riots and protests, requiring city and state leaders to ask for help. He posted to Truth Social, “I have instructed Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, that under no circumstances are we going to participate in various poorly run Democrat Cities with regard to their Protests and/or Riots unless, and until, they ask us for help.”

Trump continued, “We will, however, guard, and very powerfully so, any and all Federal Buildings that are being attacked by these highly paid Lunatics, Agitators, and Insurrectionists. Please be aware that I have instructed ICE and/or Border Patrol to be very forceful in this protection of Federal Government Property.”

I have to admit, I am not against this tactic by Trump. And I would also note that people seem to be forgetting one question… how did we get here? Were it not for Joe Biden opening up the borders and blue states embracing sanctuary status, ICE would not have to come to these cities in the first place.

And let’s also remember that the American people voted for this immigration crackdown. Trump never hid his intentions on this front, so spare me the faux outrage now that he is delivering on his promise.

No one is safe today, eapecially in a blue state

"I barely saw it for a quarter of a second before it just came straight through," Plant told KCRA.

The victim added to the station that while he was able to pull off the two-lane highway, he had to ask Siri to call 911, as he had no idea what hit him after it crashed through his windshield.

"My eyes were already starting to close up, so I couldn't even look at the phone if I wanted to," Plant noted to KCRA. Turns out that a piece of white balloon was stuck in the shattered glass as first responders arrived, the station said.

Plant told KCRA he was taken to a hospital where medical staff spent hours removing shards of glass from his face and eyes.

Uncovering the Largest Pandemic-Era Fraud in Blue State Minnesota

Minnesota fraudsters squandered taxpayer money on lavish lifestyles, feds claim

Imagine a quarter-billion dollars meant to feed hungry kids during a national crisis, only to be siphoned off for Teslas, lake houses, and honeymoons in the Maldives.

That's the heart of the staggering "Feeding Our Future" scandal in Minnesota, where $250 million in federal funds, intended for a children's nutrition program during the COVID-19 pandemic, were allegedly stolen by fraudsters for personal extravagance, as Fox News reports, prompting President Donald Trump and congressional allies to demand accountability from Gov. Tim Walz, among others, and recovery of the misappropriated taxpayer cash.

This scheme exploited a well-intentioned relaxation of rules by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which waived standard oversight for the Federal Child Nutrition Program to ease food distribution during the crisis.

Fraudsters seized the opportunity, fabricating claims of serving millions of meals to school-aged children across roughly 300 so-called "food sites" in Minnesota.

Instead of nourishment, they produced fake invoices, forged attendance records, and invented vendors to launder money meant for vulnerable families.

The result? A jaw-dropping misuse of funds, with at least 77 individuals indicted in what federal authorities call the largest pandemic-era fraud in U.S. history.

2 educators fired for opposing transgender advocacy in schools

'Free to express opinions'

Oregon district pays $650,000 to settle with educators who objected to trans lessons. Schools 'can't retaliate against speech simply because they disagree with what's said.'

An Oregon school district has agreed to pay $650,000 to settle with two educators who were punished, then fired, for speaking out against the injurious transgender agenda the district was adopting.

The trans ideology as promoted by Joe Biden and his administration for years includes giving chemicals to children to delay puberty, then doing mutilating body surgeries on the child.

"Educators are free to express opinions on fundamental issues of public concern—like gender identity education policy—that implicate the freedoms of teachers, parents, and students," said Mathew Hoffman, of the ADF, which represented the teachers along with the Pacific Justice Institute.

No Blue Wave

Blue States Stay Blue

Nothing shocking about it

Here’s what the breathless headlines won’t tell you: Every single major Democratic victory on Tuesday occurred in deep-blue strongholds that Republicans hadn’t expected to win in the first place.

New York City elected a Democrat as mayor—stop the presses! This in a city that hasn’t elected a Republican mayor in over two decades. Virginia and New Jersey, both reliable Democratic territories in recent cycles, stayed in the blue column for their gubernatorial races.

This is what passes for a “sweeping victory” these days?

Perhaps most telling was California, where voters approved a congressional redistricting plan explicitly designed to help Democrats gain five more House seats.

Shocking, I know—California Democrats rigging the system in their favor. Who could have seen that coming?

These races had been projected as Democratic wins for months, yet the media presents them as if they represent some fundamental shift in the American electorate.

The reality? Democrats held territory they already controlled. That’s not a wave—it’s treading water. pjnewsletter.com

Democrat Blow-Outs expected in Blue States

Blue State Blowouts Were No Surprise to the GOP

"Democrats claim they notched big Election Day victories in reliably blue states this week. Granted, there were double-digit blowouts in high-profile races in Virginia and New Jersey.

Democratic candidates Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill easily won gubernatorial races, far outpacing their Republican rivals. The orthodox political rule is that anytime you get to 10 points or more, it’s a “blowout.”

But to Republicans, none of this came as a shock.

“It’s all basically blue states,” said Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), dismissing any notion that these results signal a national trend.

GOP leaders had openly tempered expectations, with House Speaker Mike Johnson saying earlier in the day that Democrat radicals were likely to win these deep-blue contests.

Republicans insist these blue-state victories are confined to Democratic enclaves and do not reflect the broader American mood. And they’re right.

Democratic base voters were merely energized on their home turf." [Richard Luthmann]

Illinois "leadership" refuses Homeland Security Head a bathroom break

Kristi Noem Blocked from Bathroom in Illinois

A Perfect Symbol of Blue-State Dysfunction

Sometimes, politics really does sink to bathroom-level politics — literally. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and her staff stopped by a public government building in Illinois for a quick restroom break, only to be denied entry.

The Village of Broadview, which receives more than a million dollars in federal funds every year, somehow decided the best use of taxpayer-funded space was to slam the door on federal officials.

If this sounds ridiculous, that’s because it is. But it’s also the perfect symbol of how Illinois leadership treats the rule of law: when they can’t win the argument, they just lock the doors.

Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a political stunt from Noem. The video shows her politely asking, “Can we use your restroom?” and the answer from inside was a blunt, “No you cannot!”

Homeless in Washington State

Washington pays for homelessness, and pays and pays and pays

The State of Washington spent $5 billion on homelessness prevention programs over the last 12 years, but there has been little measurable impact so far. There are currently more homeless people in Washington than at any point since at least 2016.

Yet according to the state's biannual Snapshot of Homelessness reports, there are currently more people in need of housing than ever. Washington had 126,091 homeless people in January 2016, but 158,791 people in January 2025 — a 26% increase.

Washington's total population has only grown by 9% since 2016, meaning homelessness is outpacing population growth despite an unprecedented amount of spending designed to prevent that trend.

Washington will spend $1.8 billion on homeless services and housing in 2026 and 2027, or $900 million per year.

Google says--Washington state is reliably considered a "blue state." It has consistently voted for the Democratic candidate in every presidential election since 1988. This trend is primarily driven by its strong support for Democrats in urban areas like King County (Seattle), which contains nearly a third of the state's voters.

"Homelessness is prevalent in "blue" (Democrat-leaning) states, particularly coastal ones, due to high housing costs, greater availability of social services, and more lenient policies regarding public space and drug use compared to "red" (Republican-leaning) states."

DEA smashes cartel network in tiny New Hampshire town

The Sinaloa cartel thought they had the perfect setup running drugs through small-town America

They didn’t count on Donald Trump returning to the White House.

And Trump’s crackdown just delivered one nasty surprise that has cartel bosses scrambling for cover.

The Drug Enforcement Administration just pulled off a massive bust that shows how deep the cartel problem really runs in America. Twenty-seven people got hauled away in handcuffs in Franklin, New Hampshire – a town with barely 10,000 residents.

That’s not your typical small-town drug bust.

The DEA traced this operation straight back to Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel, running fentanyl and methamphetamine through Lawrence, Massachusetts.

While Biden kept the borders wide open for four years, the Sinaloa cartel was building distribution networks in places like Franklin, New Hampshire.

These aren’t random drug dealers – this is organized terrorism designed to flood American communities with fentanyl.

Red States Keep Winning While Blue States Keep Losing

Red States Just Exposed the One Thing Democrats Can’t Stand About Their Failed Economic Policies

A bombshell new report from LendingTree has ripped the mask off the Left’s economic lies and revealed what many Americans already suspected — conservative states are absolutely demolishing their liberal counterparts when it comes to real prosperity.

The financial research company analyzed the 100 biggest metropolitan areas in America using hard data on median earnings, GDP changes, population growth, housing markets, and workforce expansion from 2021 to 2023.

What they found should have every Democrat scrambling for cover.

Eight out of the top 10 fastest-growing "boomtowns" in America are located in the South, with Texas and Florida leading the charge like economic powerhouses.

Florida claimed a stunning half of the top 10 spots, while Texas dominated with Austin taking the number one overall ranking.

Blue State Democrat Governors/Mayors say "we will resist ICE"

Chicago Mayor Urges City To ‘Resist’ Looming Trump Immigration Crackdown

This guy is worse than Lori Lightfoot and that's saying something!

Democratic Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson urged city residents on Wednesday to “resist” the Trump administration as it escalates its immigration enforcement operations nationwide, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Speaking at a Wednesday news conference, Johnson condemned President Donald Trump’s decision to deploy federal troops to help control the riots in Los Angeles, which were triggered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in the city. The mayor referred to the federal crackdown as a “war on our culture” (what the hell does that mean?)and urged city residents to take action, the Tribune reported.

“I am counting on all of Chicago to resist in this moment. Because whatever particular vulnerable group is targeted today, another group will be next,” Johnson said, according to the Tribune. “This is a necessary fight for all of us to be able to push back. Whether we use the courts or whether we continue to protest or raise our voices, dissent matters in this moment. Look, [Trump] is abusing his power. We warned people though. You all know we warned people.”

On Thursday, Democratic Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker appeared before the House Oversight Committee, along with Democratic governors of other “sanctuary states,” including Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, to defend their policies.

Our Border Crisis - People fed up

New York Residents Beg Trump to Come Back, Solve Out-of-Control Illegal Immigration

"Donald Trump is making waves in blue states, and voters are listening.

Despite what the mainstream media might tell you, people in deep-blue areas are fed up. And Trump? He’s taking full advantage of their frustrations.

As he ramps up his campaign for 2024, Trump is focusing on states like New York and California—places the Democrats have long taken for granted.

The former president knows these voters are suffering under failed Democratic leadership, and he’s not afraid to call it out. High taxes, rising crime, and unchecked illegal immigration are wreaking havoc in these states, and Trump is positioning himself as the only one who can fix it."
