The Policy That Made American Warriors Into Sitting Ducks
Hegseth Just Ended the Policy That Left Soldiers Defenseless for 35 Years
A gunman at Fort Stewart, Georgia opened fire on his fellow soldiers on August 6, 2025 – and every soldier who could stop him was unarmed. Six of them charged toward the gunfire anyway and brought him down with their bodies. Now Pete Hegseth just signed a memo that changes what happens the next time someone opens fire on a US military installation.
For 35 years, a 1992 Pentagon directive effectively disarmed the U.S. military on its own soil.
Carrying a personal firearm on a U.S. military installation was prohibited. Military police could carry. Soldiers actively training could carry their service weapons. Everyone else – the sergeants, the logistics specialists, the medics going to work every morning – was disarmed the moment they walked through the gate.
Hegseth put it plainly. "Effectively, our bases across the country were gun-free zones," he said Thursday. "Unless you're training, or unless you are a military policeman, you couldn't carry. You couldn't bring your own firearm for your own personal protection onto post."
"Well," he added, "that's no longer."

Trump’s New National Security Strategy
Trump’s New National Security Strategy
The strategy outlines a more selective American role abroad, elevating domestic resilience and regional dominance over decades of expansive global commitments
Key Takeaways--Here are five major takeaways from the strategy and how they redefine America’s global posture—reshaping U.S. priorities in Europe, China and the Indo-Pacific, Ukraine, the Middle East, and the wider Western Hemisphere:
1. It is a core interest of the United States to negotiate an expeditious cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, in order to stabilize European economies, prevent unintended escalation or expansion of the war, and reestablish strategic stability with Russia, as well as to enable the post-hostilities reconstruction of Ukraine to enable its survival as a viable state,” the document states.
2. The United States must be preeminent in the Western Hemisphere as a condition of our security and prosperity—a condition that allows us to assert ourselves confidently where and when we need to in the region,” the strategy states, arguing that U.S. strength at home and abroad depends on securing the hemisphere first.
3. The document argues that decades of large-scale interventions and state-building efforts delivered little lasting stability and often diverted U.S. resources from higher-priority regions. Going forward, Washington’s approach is defined by a narrower set of objectives: protecting vital waterways, defending key partners, containing terrorism, and preventing adversaries from establishing footholds that threaten global energy security or U.S. interests.

4. The strategy states that the United States will continue supporting NATO
allies, but primarily as a strategic coordinator rather than the
continent’s default security guarantor. Instead of relying on U.S.
troops and funding, Europe is expected to rebuild its defense capacity,
stiffen its borders, and stabilize its politics.
5. China remains the United States’ chief long-term competitor, it frames the contest as primarily economic rather than military. The document emphasizes restoring supply-chain sovereignty, securing critical technologies, controlling mineral flows, and rebuilding domestic industrial capacity through tariffs and reshoring incentives.

Hundreds of Taliban were allowed to settle in our country
Biden-era policy granted US entry to low-level Taliban workers
Hundreds of former Taliban government workers were greenlit to resettle in the United States under a Biden administration policy that’s raising more than a few eyebrows, as Just the News reports. In a nutshell, this controversial exemption, rolled out in June 2022, allowed certain Afghan refugees, including low-level “civil servants” who worked under the Taliban, to bypass terrorism-related barriers and make a new home in America.
Tens of thousands of Afghans were airlifted out of Hamid Karzai International Airport during a frenzied non-combatant evacuation operation, but watchdog reports and witness accounts have since slammed the vetting process as riddled with serious flaws.
These exemptions targeted specific groups, like Afghans who served as “civil servants” under the Taliban during two distinct periods -- before the 9/11 attacks and after the 2021 takeover -- as well as those who supported U.S. military interests against the Taliban or Soviet forces.
According to a DHS report to Congress for fiscal year 2024, a staggering 6,848 exemptions were granted under this policy, with 6,653 of those for refugees. It's a sharp spike from just 603 in 2022 and a mere 191 in 2021.
Former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas defended the move.

And then there is the case of Rahmanullah Lakanwal...great going Democrats...great vetting. The U.S. has not formally recognized the Taliban and has designated the group as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist group under sanctions.

Problems at the Democrat National Committee
Union leaders exit DNC amid ongoing party tensions
Turmoil is brewing within the Democratic National Committee (DNC) as two heavyweight union leaders jump ship, exposing deep cracks in the party’s foundation. The latest drama centers on Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, and Lee Saunders, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, both of whom have declined to remain as at-large members of the DNC.
As reported by Fox News, their departure signals growing discontent with the direction under Chair Ken Martin.
Weingarten didn’t hold back in her farewell letter to Martin, stating, "I appear to be out of step with the leadership you are forging, and I do not want to be the one who keeps questioning why we are not enlarging our tent."
Well, isn’t that a polite way to say the party’s vision feels more like a cramped pup tent than a big-top circus? Her words suggest frustration with leadership that seems more focused on control than inclusivity, a concern many on the right have long echoed about progressive gatekeepers.

Our Soaring Economy
As the Democrats continue to complain loudly that President Donald Trump is destroying Biden’s economy, the latest jobs numbers show that the reverse is happening — Trump’s economic moves are driving the economy to new heights.
In the month of May, job creation surpassed expectations, with 139,000 new jobs added — beating the 125,000 forecast by a wide margin, and the unemployment rate holding steady at 4.2%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Even more impressive? All of this growth came from the private sector — not bloated government hiring. Private industry is expanding, while government employment continues to shrink.
But how could this be? The Democrats and the corporate media keep telling us that Trump’s policies are sabotaging Biden’s beautifully-built economy… so why is it GROWING?
The small business economy is growing and the private economy is growing. This is exactly what Donald Trump wanted to do to reverse everything that Biden had done.

Policy shift at the Panama Canal
Trump directs U.S. troops to bolster Panama Canal presence
President Donald Trump's latest directive to the military signals potential changes in U.S. involvement at the Panama Canal.According to Daily Caller, Trump has instructed U.S. military officials to develop plans for increasing American troop presence at the Panama Canal, with options ranging from enhanced cooperation with Panama to potential canal seizure.
The military planning directive follows Trump's March 6 congressional address where he emphasized reclaiming control of the vital waterway. U.S. Southern Command is now evaluating various scenarios, though officials indicate that any use of military force would depend heavily on continued cooperation from Panama's military forces.
Recent developments suggest some scaling back of Chinese involvement, with Panama's President Mulino announcing the country won't renew its Belt and Road Initiative agreement. Additionally, American investment firm Blackrock has agreed to purchase Chinese-operated ports for $22.8 billion.

Eliminating the Penny
Democrat Senator comes out in Support of a Trump proposal
President Donald Trump has gained unexpected support in the Senate for his plan to stop producing new pennies.Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., backed Trump’s proposal on Tuesday, calling it a "common sense move." Rosen represents a battleground state that both she and Trump won in 2024.
Over the weekend, Trump announced, "I instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies."
"For far too long, the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Let’s rip the waste out of our great nation’s budget, even if it’s a penny at a time."
I’m not afraid to embrace a good idea when it comes from the other side of the aisle, and I agree with President Trump on this."Eliminating the penny is a common sense move that’ll save taxpayer dollars," she added.

Woke Rules thrown out
Biden Administration Admits Defeat by Withdrawing 7 Woke Rule Changes
The Biden administration withdrew seven far-left proposed rules at the end of December, potentially due to receiving hundreds of thousands of critical public comments. The withdrawals are being hailed as wins by conservatives, who have submitted comments against the rules, which would have compelled allowing male participation in girls sports, prohibited religious exemptions for birth control coverage, taken federal funding away from pregnancy resource centers, and more.
“On balance, withdrawing these rules is a win for everyone who submitted comments opposing them,” Ethics and Public Policy Center fellow Rachel Morrison told The Daily Signal. “It means these bad policy proposals by the Biden administration will not go into effect.”

Righting the Wrong of our Military
How Trump Can Restore Integrity And Lethality To America’s Declining Military
Americans are ‘sick of the possibility that the conflicts in which the military fights might not be worthwhile, and that’s devastating to recruitment.’It’s safe to say that America has suffered greatly under the Biden-Harris administration. From a wide-open southern border to economic hardship, the laundry list of pains inflicted upon the public have been nothing short of horrific.
While no institution has been spared from these radical policies, there’s one in particular whose suffering Americans who care about the future security of the United States should take heed of: the military.
For the past four years, America’s armed forces have been undergoing a “reimagining.” Not content with simply allowing the military’s infrastructure to decline, the leftist ghouls running the White House have prioritized shoehorning neo-Marxist ideology into the service over the capabilities of America’s warfighters, prompting troops to abandon ship and dissuading new recruits from jumping on board.
Such destructive policies have left the United States’ defense apparatus in a vulnerable state.

Marc Cuban condemns Kamala Harris' Ecoomic Plan
Marc Cuban Sends Grave Warning For Market Place If Harris Wins
In a shocking revelation, billionaire investor Mark Cuban has come out strongly against Democratic nominee Kamala Harris and her economic plan.Speaking on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Cuban declared that Harris’s proposal to raise the capital gains tax rate to 28% would “kill the stock market.”
Cuban, who initially endorsed Harris and is part of a group of over 800 venture capitalist investors and tech leaders, had this to say about Harris’s tax plan: “If you tax unrealized gains, you’re going to kill the stock market, right? And it’s going to be the ultimate employment plan for private equity because companies are not going to go public because you can get whipsawed, right?”
This startling revelation from Cuban highlights the potential catastrophic effects of Harris’s plan on American citizens and businesses.
He even shared a personal experience where his net worth was high, but his money in the bank was low due to unrealized gains. Under Harris’s plan, Cuban would have been forced to borrow money and potentially put his business at risk just to pay his tax bill.

Kamala wants Soviet Style Price Control and Tax Unrealized Capital gains
Kevin O’Leary SNAPS On Harris: “Don’t Mess With The American Dream!
Instead of cutting spending, Kamala wants to destroy the American Dream
In a scathing critique of Vice President Kamala Harris’ proposed tax policies, “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary warned that they will destroy the American Dream and handicap businesses. On Fox News’ “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” O’Leary slammed Harris’ plan to implement a 25% tax on unrealized capital gains for individuals making over $100 million in wealth and raise the corporate tax rate to 28%.
O’Leary argued that these policies would make the U.S. uncompetitive on a global scale, deterring foreign investment and forcing successful entrepreneurs to leave the country. “Why do you want to punish them for success?” O’Leary questioned, highlighting the importance of keeping America a desirable place for businesses to thrive.
The investor also criticized Harris’ proposal to ban “price gouging” on groceries, calling it a “very populist idea” that is “impossible to implement.”
He pointed out that this approach has failed in the past, including in countries like Venezuela and North Korea, and is against the American principles of free market and competition.

"It smells horrible down there!"
Hundreds Of Illegals Set Up Makeshift ‘Mini-City’ Under Brooklyn-Queens Expressway
This is AOC's district!
Hundreds of undocumented immigrants (aka ILLEGALS) have established a temporary settlement in New York City beneath the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.Remember when AOC raced to the border for a photo-op in front of what supposedly was Trump’s kids-in-cages facility? Well, now those kids in cages are kids in squalor in her backyard. Et tu AOC?
This is the result of years of liberal and progressive policies, an area that has now become a place of disarray and filth.
Adding to this precarious situation is a homeless encampment nearby that has reportedly seen numerous fires, shootings, and drug overdoses according to King County Sheriff’s Department.
