California Unemployment DEBT/Fraud of $21 BILLION DOLLARS

Labor Department sends a strike team to California over a $21 billion unemployment debt and rampant fraud

The Labor Department has deployed a specialized "strike team" to California to investigate improper payments and alleged fraud riddling the state's unemployment insurance program, a system now $21 billion in debt to the federal government and hemorrhaging taxpayer money at a pace that would make even Sacramento blush.

Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer announced the move after writing a letter to California's Employment Development Department, citing increasing improper payment rates, insufficient timeliness, data accuracy and quality concerns, and serious questions about participants' eligibility and the use of taxpayer funds.

The strike team will include Labor Department specialists drawn from national and regional offices. Chavez-DeRemer did not mince words:
"Financial issues and potential fraud in California's unemployment insurance program will be fully examined. The previous administration turned a blind eye toward failing Labor programs. This ends now."

Gavin Newsom and his better ideas

Newsom Says He Can Out-DOGE Elon — With Debt

SACRAMENTO, CA — California Governor and part-time shampoo model Gavin Newsom has unveiled a revolutionary new plan called “DOGE but Better,” which experts say is just like Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency — except it bleeds cash, hires consultants with gender studies degrees, and sets taxpayer money on fire in a carbon-neutral way.

Newsom, who believes the solution to California’s $73 billion budget black hole is more algorithms, declared, “We’re doing efficiency... the California way,” moments before asking the federal government for $40 billion in wildfire relief and a blank check for vibes.

The plan includes partnering with Accenture and Deloitte — firms known for charging seven figures to tell you your website needs a new font — and promising to fix traffic, housing, and the DMV using AI, despite the fact that nothing else he's touched has worked, including his own electric razor.

DOGE will have their hands full

DOGE insider reveals the wildest government spending splurges in the sights of Elon's agency

A top Republican on the House DOGE caucus has revealed to DailyMail.com some jaw-dropping government projects that will be cut by Donald Trump's new initiative.

The president-elect tasked Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy with cutting trillions in federal spending in the coming years using the newly developed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

And the pair have already been hard at work injecting their influence in to politics.

House DOGE Caucus Co-Chair Aaron Bean, R-Fla., exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com some of the most egregious government waste projects federal workers are approving, many at massive costs to taxpayers.

'We're giving cocaine to animals to see does it turn them transsexual?' the Republican lamented to DailyMail.com over the phone. He suggested similar government-funded studies need to be halted by DOGE.

'It just, it's the craziest thing that you would never spend your own money on. But when agencies have money to burn, they will spend money on literally everything.'

Biden trying to push through loan forgiveness to Ukraine and let American citizens pick up the tab

biuden wants to fogive $4.65 billion of loans to Ukraine

In a move that has sparked outrage among fiscal conservatives, the Biden administration has informed Congress of its intention to cancel a staggering $4.65 billion in debt owed by Ukraine.

This decision comes as part of a broader economic loan package offered earlier this year, raising eyebrows and concerns among those who prioritize American taxpayer interests.

State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller confirmed the administration’s plans, stating, “We have taken the step that was outlined in the law to cancel those loans, provide that economic assistance to Ukraine.” This announcement follows an April decision by Congress to pass a supplemental funding package, which included a hefty $60 billion in aid for Ukraine. Notably, $9 billion of this was structured as a loan with a provision for potential forgiveness—a provision the Biden administration is now exercising.

In response, Representative Thomas Massie, R-Ky., has introduced a resolution to block this controversial debt cancellation. Senator Rand Paul, R-Ky., has also vowed to introduce a similar resolution in the Senate. However, with a Democrat-controlled Senate and President Biden’s veto power, the chances of overturning this decision appear slim.

Let's hope Biden is the last of the BIG spenders

Biden Administration Borrowed $5 Billion Per Day in Fiscal Year 2024

So far in the fiscal year 2024, the federal government has had to borrow about $5 billion every day.

The Congressional Budget Office said Thursday the federal budget deficit was $1.5 trillion for the first 10 months of fiscal year 2024, which covers October through July.

The CBO stated that the $1.5 trillion deficit for the first 10 months of FY 2024 was $103 billion less than the deficit recorded during the same period last fiscal year.

The federal budgeting agency projects the deficit for 2024 will be $2.0 trillion. The deficit for fiscal year 2023 was $1.7 trillion. But the CBO says the differences in the deficits those years could be attributable to budgeting “timing shifts”.

The think tank Truth in Accounting states the real national debt is closer to $156.8 trillion if unfunded Social Security and Medicare promises were included.

And Obama and later Biden were the biggest spenders...deficit-to-GDP ratio. See chart

Biden's Student Loan Bailout - A $billion here; $ 5 billion there

New Poll Finds Many Americans Don’t Support Biden’s Student Loan Bailout

Well, who in their right mind would support this pandering giveaway?

$167 billion. That’s the total amount of student debt the Biden administration has cancelled.

"The United States is currently facing serious problems at nearly every level of domestic and international politics.

Indeed, the quality of life that most Americans have enjoyed has significantly declined over the last several years. Since the 2020 presidential election occurred in November of that years, the economic climate within the United States has markedly deteriorated.

Inflation has crushed American consumers everywhere, with millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet. Recent projections from the media outlet CNBC have alleged that 6 out of every 10 citizens may be living on a week to week basis and surviving from paycheck to paycheck.

Additionally, interest rates have soared, and mortgage payments have reached exorbitant heights. Things are not going well for many young citizens who are beginning their early adult lives and attempting to save to buy a house. Many young people are now forced to live at home for longer years, and even enterprising young individuals face significant challenges."

BUT, they need to learn to be responsible and pay their own debts but Joe Biden is their enabaler.

Joe buying votes with taxpayer money

Loan Debt For 78,000 Public Service Workers

Going around the Supreme Court of the United States is fun for Joe!

“U.S. President Joe Biden announced Thursday that $6 billion in student loans would be canceled for 78,000 borrowers, bringing his administration’s total student debt cancellation to nearly $150 billion.”

“Biden, a Democrat, last year pledged to find other avenues for tackling debt relief after the Supreme Court in June blocked his broader plan to cancel $430 billion in student loan debt,” Reuters noted.

Don’t think for one second that Biden’s prospects for the election in November don’t play a role in this.

He needs the youth vote, for one.

Will Gen Z Support Biden in 2024?

Biden Gets Devastating News from 1 Voting Group – Joe May Never Recover from This

In recent weeks, we’ve seen big problems hit the Biden campaign. The Democrat incumbent is losing support with groups he needs, if he wishes to remain in office. Biden has lost tremendous support among black voters.

But that is only the beginning. There was one group that came out in record numbers to elect the man in 2020.

A new report is giving the Biden campaign some very bad news. The president has failed to keep this group happy. And it is unclear if there is anything he can do to fix this crisis.

The youth vote is turning on a system they “cannot support.” This could be due to Biden’s failures on the economy or his support for Israel.

Read about the "me" generation

BUT, Biden just ignored the Supreme Court that may turn Gen Z around again--people who think it totally acceptable to take out loans and not pay for them....as the government is there to prop them up--socialism.

The Biden-Harris Administration announced the approval of $4.9 billion in additional student loan debt relief for 73,600 borrowers. These discharges are the result of fixes made by the Administration to income-driven repayment (IDR) forgiveness and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

The announcement brings the total loan forgiveness approved by the Biden-Harris Administration to $136.6 billion for more than 3.7 million Americans.

Biden Launches New Scheme After SCOTUS Ruling

Biden determined to stick the rest of America with the burden of those who failed to pay their loans

Not sure who is pulling Biden's strings but they are making a gigantic mistake!

In yet another stunning display of executive overreach, President Joe Biden clearly couldn‘t take a hint from the Supreme Court when it rejected his student debt relief plan. But now he‘s moved on to “Plan B“ in an effort to find a way around the court‘s decision.

On Friday, Biden unveiled a new plan that he‘s hoping will provide “relief“ to borrowers who are struggling with their student loan payments. But once again, the plan seems to skirt legal parameters, as it appears to rely on a dubious interpretation of the Higher Education Act in order to skirt the court‘s ruling.

Not surprisingly, Biden wasted no time blaming Republicans for setting the stage for the Supreme Court‘s decision. In a special White House statement, he said, “President Biden and Vice President Harris will not let Republican elected officials succeed in denying hardworking Americans the relief they need.”

Florida has a student loan debt distinction

Florida outstanding student loan debt, late payments among worst nationally

  • Florida student loan borrowers have the third highest outstanding loan balances in the nation, behind only Maryland and Georgia
  • The state ranks 18th overall in past due payments, with over eight percent in Florida late by 90 days or more
  • Florida is home to more than 2.8 million who have student loan debt, also third highest in the nation
The Biden Administration’s recent announcement regarding student debt relief thrust the topic into the forefront of the news. Under the program, students awarded Pell Grants and who took out loans from the Department of Education will have $20,000 of debt canceled. Those without a Pell Grant will have $10,000 shaved off their outstanding balances.

According to the Department of Education, federal student loans currently total $1.6 trillion. All told, an estimated 45 million borrowers hold federal student loan debt. The average student loan debt among borrowers stands at $36,200. (These are the most expensive states to get a college education.)

Burdened by that much debt, many college graduates are not always able to keep up with monthly payments, but the numbers vary by state. In Florida, an estimated 2,665,400 people have outstanding student loan debt, and of them, 8.1% are at least 90 days past due on payments, compared to 7.5% of borrowers nationwide.

Biden Buying votes

This will eventually end up in the Supreme Court.

Biden Illegally Forgives Student Loan Debt Blatantly Buying Votes

Though this is being pitched by the administration as a financial break for lower-income Americans, the actual numbers show that it will instead disproportionately benefit those who are in higher tax brackets.

According to an analysis of Biden’s plan from the University of Pennsylvania out Tuesday, such a wide-ranging bailout will come with a price tag of $300-$980 billion for American taxpayers.

The university also calculated that “Between 69 and 73 percent of the debt forgiven accrues to households in the top 60 percent of the income distribution.”

Even the liberal Brookings Institution came to the same conclusion.

In January 2021, the principal deputy general counsel for the Department of Education, Reed Rubenstein, clearly stated the president has no power to unilaterally “forgive” student loans.

Massive Welfare Program - Forgiving Student Loan Debt

President Biden unilaterally implemented a student loan forgiveness plan that “will include at least $10,000 in loan forgiveness for borrowers who make less than $125,000 annually, as well as another payment freeze for roughly four months.”

In addition to being unquestionably illegal considering he does not have the power to do this, the plan is a slap in the face to the millions of hardworking Americans who not only sacrificed and saved to pay off their own student loan debts but who will also now have to pay down the debts of others who didn’t.

Elizabeth Warren, two plus years ago...she still believes the government should be paying off student debt...socialism.

Chinese Banks are troubled. There have been at least six bank runs since mid-April

Chinese Collapse: Run on Banks in China as Country’s Economy Diminishes

China really tries hard to portray herself as a global power. In a sense, they really are. They are one of the largest countries in the world and the largest as far as population. Because of their tyrannical communist government, they have been able to land the businesses from around the world because they can oppress their own people by forcing them to work for less.

Youtube channel Zai Ye Shuo posted a video stating that on June 17, many people lined up outside Dandong bank waiting to withdraw their money. The channel wrote, “Done! Bank can’t withdraw money! There was a run on a bank in Dandong, Liaoning, and a thunderstorm on the banks of Henan village caused panic.”

The second-most fundamental problem is that China is carrying a staggering load of debt. The Bank of International Settlements estimated that the country’s debt was equal to about 290% of gross domestic product in late 2020, and there has subsequently been a rapid accumulation of indebtedness, during the pandemic. When adding the so-called “hidden debt” and deflating GDP to minimize the effect of inflated official reporting, the country’s ratio is now around 350%.

To give you a visual of the run on the bank--

Dems using Covid and Racism to cancel student loan debt

Actually, those are the Democrat excuses for just about everything to promote their socialist agenda.

Democrats oops, Socialists Sound The Horn Once Again For Student Loan Cancellation

In a letter sent to Old Uncle Joe this past Tuesday, a group of over 80 Democratic lawmakers petitioned the president to sign an order to cancel “up to $50,000 of student loan debt per borrower.”

The document in question, which sported the signature of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), stated by issue thanks to Biden for the extension of the student loan pause, which was done back in December, and then the letter requested that he permanently cancel federal student loan debt.

Back in December, the White House froze all payments on student loans until the first of May. At that time, The New York Times issued a report that this choice affected over 41 million borrowers, which included the almost 27 million people who had not made a single payment since March of 2020.

Lake Worth Bond Issues

Lake Worth Beach Bonds Issued

The City of Lake Worth Beach issued two bonds in late summer and early fall of 2020; an Ad Valorem Bond providing $10,458,000 in project proceeds and a Combined Utility Bond providing $51,959,240 in project proceeds. These two bond series provided combined funding for City capital projects totaling $62,417,240.

In addition to providing funding for capital projects, the City took advantage of the historically low interest rate environment by paying off, or refunding, two Bank of America bank notes totaling $49,413,803 as part of the City’s Combined Utility Bond. As part of paying off these bank notes, the City also extended the repayment term, thereby reducing the annual debt service associated with these borrowing and as a consequence, providing increased budgetary and rate flexibility for the City’s utilities.

Another significant objective realized with the Ad Valorem borrowing is that the City was able to increase working capital and fund balances in the amount of $16,135,803. This was accomplished by reimbursing itself for capital projects otherwise paid from reserves. This step increased working capital and fund balance thereby providing the City additional financial flexibility while managing the negative impacts of COVID-19.

• The City completed these two bond issues with
  Credit Agency Ratings of:
o Moody’s A2
o Standard and Poor’s AA

Weighted Average Rates
o Ad Valorem
 Tax Exempt 2.99%
 Taxable 3.00%
o Combined Utility
 Tax Exempt 2.89%

The income from these bonds is already being put to good use to fund projects throughout the City for the benefit of all Lake Worth Beach residents!

Ron Paul on Coronavirus & Federal Reserve

The coronavirus is undeniably a serious threat, but it is important that the government not be allowed to grow unchecked in power and spending as a result...Way too much concern given to the coronavirus and very little concern to the economic mess.
