District by District voting, voted in by bimbos, is not in effect for this Run-Off election. All I can say, is "Good luck, Lake Worth."  Down the road and at the end of this, we either will have a public beach park or we won't.

"For the record:
Anyone who knows me and for those learning about me, you may have recognized, I’m not one to broadcast personal matters. I’m doing so now to squelch the continuous untruths being spread about me by my opponent and his team.

Reinaldo Diaz, has accused me repeatedly in postal print and on social media, of  ‘refusing to speak with or be interviewed by two newspapers.’

I never refused to be interviewed in any way. Reinaldo and I have known each other amicably for years. In fact, November 2021 (just 4 months ago), I gave him a small boat w/engine he liked and wanted. I gave it to him for free for his work with Waterkeepers.

In January, I was having medical issues and it was determined I needed surgery.

February, I underwent the surgery, (for tumors) on the dates the interview emails were sent.

My family and I were really not thinking of anything else at the time and I was in recovery. So yes, I missed the interview emails while in the hospital.

Note:
Neither paper (Sun Sentinel and the Palm Beach Post) tried calling me or left messages. They both had my number and had called me in the past for interviews.

The papers went to press before I was able to respond in kind. At the time of the Parrot Cove debate, I ended up with an infection and was back in the hospital. All candidates, including Mr. Diaz, agreed that my campaign manager would speak at that debate.

The most disrespectful thing to me about all of this is: Reinaldo Diaz knew full well that ‘I did not refuse a thing’. He knew I was in the hospital. He knew where I was throughout; I told him personally, as it happened.

I have not promoted or condoned any negativity against my opponent. I am clearing this up so hopefully this nonsense will stop. I wish he and his team would stop pushing this kind of untruth as he and I had originally agreed."

Lake Worth Beach commission runoff candidate doesn't recall felony arrest or misdemeanor charge

"A candidate for the Lake Worth Beach city commission said he’s unaware of a felony arrest in his past or a separate misdemeanor charge he once faced.

Craig Frost, 55, is scheduled to challenge Reinaldo Diaz in a run-off election on Tuesday that will decide who replaces Herman Robinson as District 4 commissioner.

Court documents and Florida Department of Corrections records show Frost was arrested on a burglary charge in 1996 after he broke into a Lake Worth Beach business. He also faced a misdemeanor charge of fraud for failing to pay his taxes in 2005. It's unclear if he was arrested for the misdemeanor.

It's now become apparent why Craig Frost did not answer the questionnaires at the Sun Sentinel and the Palm Beach Post and ignored the endorsement interviews as both ask the question about any prior convictions as well as including 'withheld adjudication' and matters that have been sealed or expunged?"

Palm Beach Post endorses Reinaldo Diaz for District 4 Commissioner

As expected and in lock-step with The Sun Sentinel, the other Alt-Left rag

We disagree with the Palm Beach Post for a myriad of reasons but perhaps they are right this time. I remember years ago when the Post endorsed Barbara Aubel (now Barbara Resch) who I liked but her opponent, Dave Vespo, won. Maybe we'll see a repeat and a reversal, reflected in the voting booth, in the Post endorsement in this instance.

Craig Frost! == and it's been confirmed by someone who recently interviewed Craig, he is against a public/private partnership at our beach. But we don't know what to believe!

Vote NO on Question 3 and if in doubt on the amendments, vote NO on all 4.

Reinaldo states that he is a lawyer. Lawyers are people who have gone to law school and often may have taken and passed the bar exam.

Reinaldo Diaz, an Hispanic and first generation American, is the son of parents from Argentina and El Salvador.
Diaz (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Florida State Senate to represent District 25. He lost in the Democratic primary on August 18, 2020.

Daniel Morgan, an Hispanic and also a first generation American. He was a caseworker at Guatemalan Maya Center. Morgan is 27, and said he was prompted to run for office to "bring a voice and representation" for the scores of immigrant families.



This district race should not be about one's heritage. We are all Americans. Focus on that and the qualifications of each.

Well, it is obvious that Craig Frost has "dropped out" of running for Commissioner District 4.  No one has seen him since he first appeared at the Genesis Meeting last month.

He has not been campaigning. He has declined interviews and has not shown up for any other debates. He has not made an announcement but maybe he doesn't have to.

Last night at the Genesis Neighborhood Association meeting, all the candidates showed up other than Serge Jerome. An hour and twenty minutes into the meeting Mark Parrilla gave an announcement that Mr. Jerome had a family emergency and that he sent his apologies.

In order of appearance:

Ryan Maier, running for Commissioner District 4, was the most prepared. He was one of the first arrivals at St. Andrews Church and I spotted him studying his notes. He gave a great introductory five minute speech saying that the primary responsibility of a commissioner is to act on the will of the people--guidance comes from the will of the people. He wants to see an amendment to the city charter to change the heights in our downtown to what the people voted for and an infrastructure plan that will work for the people. "Public development and public information is our business," he said.

John Szerdi, incumbent in district 4, spoke next and started off by saying that he was 62 years old but had a lot of energy. Moving here from Ft. Lauderdale, he put $100,000 into his house renovating and bringing it back to its potential. He loves Lake Worth. He mentioned his higher education, the fact that he was an environmental architect and was involved in the design of the Eco Centre Building on Lake Avenue.  He taught at Indian River College.

Christopher McVoy, incumbent District 2, told us that he has been elected for two terms. He is concerned about our roads as well as the general obligation bond issue and suggested that the city go back to the drawing board as one-half of the voters did not want it.  He also said that the commission needs to do a better job of listening to the people. He also mentioned the Political Action Committee that he formed years ago to save our beach from further commercialization and the City of Lake Worth sued the PAC and him. Now we have a beautiful beach park.

Craig Frost running for Commissioner District 4 spoke last. Not used to public speaking, he had some difficulty at times getting his thoughts across to the audience. He did tell us that he is a 3rd generation living in Lake Worth. His building where his business is located was built in 1952 and he doesn't want to be taxed out of it, concerned about the general obligation bond, an issue that motivated him to run. Through the years, he has not had any responses from commissioners on various issues and even had to go to the news media to get something done. Helping with his neighborhood association, he wants the neighborhoods cleaned up...mentioned the big problem with crime...not enough deputies working the districts.

Even though Serge Jerome did not attend the meeting, Mark Parrilla, the President of Genesis, gave a glowing report on him.
