The Tutsis were the power and privileged people of Rwanda.

The Hutus had their own broadcast stations—much like the left in America with MSNBC and CNN. …..RTLM radio broadcasts stoked ethnic hatred, ultimately causing half a million Tutsis to be murdered, thousands raped.

This was Genocide---rage stoked to violence --- by News and Opinion Broadcasts ..Sound familiar? Do we learn from History?

The next time a progressive friend, neighbor or acquaintance of yours spews bits of this genocide creating racial hatred, blaming White People indiscriminately for wrongs based only on skin color---- Call them out. The Tutsis ignored the Hutus hate speech, and they paid for it with their lives.

Hutus and Tutsis

"Hutus" were people who farmed crops, while "Tutsis" were people who tended livestock. Most Rwandans were Hutus. Gradually, these class divisions became seen as ethnic designations. Because cattle were more valuable than crops, the minority Tutsis became the local elite.

Between 500,000 and one million people, mostly Tutsis, were slaughtered in 100 days. Hutu militias, backed, trained and equipped by Rwandan government forces, were responsible for the majority of the killing. The Rwandan genocide occurred between 7 April and 15 July 1994 during the Rwandan Civil War.

They wouldn’t want people knowing the truth

"Wikipedia has an article on just about anything. In fact, I just donated to their cause.

They are practically an online encyclopedia. The articles are peer-reviewed and people can question the validity of them to ensure everything is on the up and up. But in this case, some leftists are trying to get rid of articles that point out how communist leaders have committed genocide in the past. They don’t like that communism is getting a bad name from these murderers who were communists.

“Wikipedia is considering deleting a page about the mass killings committed by communist regimes throughout the 20th century over claims of bias.

These Leftists clearly are trying to polish communism’s image by getting this article taken down, and it should stay up. We need to learn from history or risk repeating it.

Between 2010 and 2011, Yao Ning studied as an Asia fellow at Harvard University’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation while pursuing a doctorate degree, according to a report by the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), the Times reported.

Last year, Joe said through a spokesman that the policies by Beijing amounted to “genocide.” Other nations or international institutions could follow suit in formally criticizing China over its treatment of its minority Muslims and taking punitive measures. The determination also prompts certain reviews within the State Department.
