The NO Kings Insanity

The insipid NO Kings screaming protests

And Lake Worth Crazies were a part of it this past Saturday

There they go again. Or, there they went again. Another day of stomping their feet like toddlers and screaming at the sky, from one end of their Astroturfed nation to the other. "No Kings!" they wailed for hours on Saturday, without any actual justification or moral authority whatsoever.

The Left just so desperately wants you to believe that Donald Trump is some kind of authoritarian ruler because he uses executive orders, enforces immigration law, challenges election fraud, and makes national security decisions they may disagree with.

In their world, doing the job of president, which includes actually exercising executive authority, is “tyranny” when Trump does it. Securing the border? King. Reining in federal agencies? King. Ordering strikes against terrorist regime? King. The standard is: if Trump does it and they don’t like it, it’s dictatorship. [Strictly Speaking] says maybe we should examine this a moment:
  • For eight years, Barack Obama bragged about governing with a “pen and a phone” when Congress wouldn’t comply with his edicts.
  • Joe Biden erased hundreds of billions in student debt with a signature, in defiance of the Supreme Court. He signed dozens of executive orders in his first week of stolen office and unilaterally ordered the removal of physical barriers at the border to allow his personally-endorsed invasion of the U.S. homeland. He pushed unconstitutional vaccine mandates through agencies affecting tens of millions of American without congressional authorization. No Kings rallies? Zero.
  • Bill Clinton launched the Kosovo bombing without congressional approval. He even announced to the nation's voters.
One more point: Trump just took out two actual dictators, and the Left berated him for it. [Bob Frantz]

Venezuela Election Outcome - Changed in the dead of night

The country’s electoral authority announced Maduro win just after midnight on Monday

despite multiple exit polls which pointed to an opposition win.

The authority said opposition candidate Edmundo Gonzalez won 44% of the vote, though the opposition had earlier said it had “reasons to celebrate” and asked supporters to continue monitoring vote counts.

Maduro, appearing at the presidential palace before cheering supporters, said his reelection is a triumph of peace and stability and reiterated his campaign trail assertion that Venezuela’s electoral system is transparent.

A poll from Edison Research, known for its polling of U.S. elections, had predicted in an exit poll that Gonzalez would win 65% of the vote, while Maduro would win 31%.[ch.org]

The DIMS weaponization of federal law enforcement and the criminalization of political differences

Dems warned arresting Trump will make U.S. another 'tinpot dictatorship'

A prominent commentary voice online, John Daniel Davidson of The Federalist, whose work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Claremont Review of Books, the New York Post, and more, is warning Democrats about their obvious plan to jail President Trump.

That will put America in the same class of republic as those controlled by "tinpot dictatorships," he said.

"Put bluntly, if Biden’s DOJ arrests Trump, the president’s main political rival heading into the 2024 election, it will trigger a political and electoral crisis unlike any America has ever faced. It's not too much to say that such a move would not only imperil the upcoming presidential election but the republic itself. Jailing political rivals is what happens in tinpot dictatorships like Nicaragua, where President Daniel Ortega’s political rivals often find themselves arrested and imprisoned on charges of treason," he charged.
