Time to recognize Taiwan

Why The G7 Gives Palestine A Pass But Denies Taiwan Recognition

The recent announcements by several G7 nations, notably France, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, that they will recognize Palestine as a sovereign state mark a significant geopolitical moment.

Until very recently, the idea that even one, much less four, members of the G7 would take this step was unthinkable.

Their longstanding policy of non-recognition was rooted in a commitment to the Oslo Accords, signed in 1993 and 1995, which created the Palestinian Authority as an interim administration and emphasized that a Palestinian state should emerge only through direct bilateral negotiations with Israel, not unilateral action.

That this barrier has now been crossed reveals a troubling contradiction in the application of international law and diplomatic principles. These same nations refuse to recognize Taiwan, a self-governing, prosperous democracy that clearly meets the established legal criteria for statehood.

By contrast, Palestine does not presently meet those criteria, and yet it is being ushered into recognition largely as a political rebuke of Israel. This double standard is as untenable as it is transparent.

U.S. Department of the Treasury Press Release

With Over 300 Sanctions, U.S. Targets Russia’s Circumvention and Evasion, Military-Industrial Supply Chains, and Future Energy Revenues

May 19--
The United States, in coordination with the G7 and other international partners, is strengthening the unprecedented global sanctions and other restrictive economic measures to further degrade the Russian Federation’s capacity to wage war against Ukraine. The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is implementing new commitments made at the G7 Leaders’ Summit to hold Russia accountable for its war.

“From the beginning of President Putin’s illegal and unprovoked war, our global coalition has focused on supporting Ukraine while degrading Russia’s ability to conduct its invasion,” said Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen. “Our collective efforts have cut Russia off from key inputs it needs to equip its military and is drastically limiting the revenue the Kremlin receives to fund its war machine. Today’s actions will further tighten the vise on Putin’s ability to wage his barbaric invasion and will advance our global efforts to cut off Russian attempts to evade sanctions.”

Stumbling and Bungling at G7

Biden Screw Up Reveals He’s Got A Script For Everything

While attending the recent G7 summit Old Sleepy Joe dropped the ball once again. This particular time he managed to show everyone in attendance, and of course flashing a camera directly, the outlined cheat sheet that had been prepared for him.

At the very same event, Biden was involved in an awkward scene in which he was being guided by Japanese leader Fumio Kishida as his wife, first lady Jill Biden, held his hand. The trio had met at the Hiroshima prefecture ahead of the G7 Summit — but the 80-year-old seemed confused as to where he should stand for photos.

Putin and China just declared economic war on the West

The United States and the other G7 nations just declared open economic war on China. China responded with a ban on U.S. chip manufacturer Micron. Things just got out of hand.

At the G7, the leaders threatened to undermine China's economic growth unless it implemented some changes. Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping, at the Asian Summit, unveiled a grand plan for Central Asia's development, from building infrastructure to boosting trade, taking on a new leadership role in a region that has traditionally been a Russian sphere of influence.

We are watching the West get ready to collide head-on with the East and vice versa.

Biden stumbling at G7

We can only hope he is only stumbling on stairs

President Biden stumbled as he tried to walk down the stairs of the Itsukushima Shrine on Friday in his rush to greet Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. During a trip to Poland, he stumbled while attempting to board Air Force One. It’s apparent to many that Biden is facing a physical and mental decline.

I can't even believe he's at the G7 where he will be exposed to--
United Kingdom
Canada
France
Germany
Italy
Japan

where the eaders of seven of the world’s most powerful democracies will witness Biden in action. They will be discussing Russia’s war on Ukraine, Beijing’s escalating threats against Taiwan and other matters.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will join the discussions in person on Sunday to beg for more money I would presume. It was confirmed there will be discussions about a proposal for a Ukraine peace summit on the agenda.

What happens when the second biggest gold mining nation in the world and a major source of supply is cut off from the western market

Biden, G-7 Will Ban Russian Gold Imports

Having sparked hyperinflation in European gas prices and record energy costs around the globe with their poorly conceived and implemented Russian energy sanctions which have backfired spectacularly, allowing Moscow to reap record energy export profits and China and India to buy oil far below spot prices while leaving US motorists paying record prices at the pump, on Sunday the Biden admin alongside the G-7 announced that they will ban Russian gold imports to "further impose financial costs on Moscow for its invasion of Ukraine."

The import ban will apply to gold leaving Russia for G-7 countries for the first time, and will be codified by the US Treasury Department on Tuesday.

As for Russia, its central bank has been an aggressive buyer of gold, not seller, and if anything Biden's decision will only make the gold market the latest to follow the example of oil and bifurcate: cheaper for Russian-friends and much more expensive for Russian enemies.

Biden Pledges $200 billion at G7

Biden Pledges $200 Billion for Global Infrastructure at G7 Summit

The astounding figure represents a third of the total amount all seven countries at the summit pledged to invest, highlighting the often disproportionate funding that comes from the United States towards global initiatives.

Now we are absolutely certain this man is out of his mind.

Joe Biden, the gaffe machine

Ten Times Joe Biden Embarrassed Himself and Us During the G7

Joe Biden stumbled his way through the G7 meetings over the last weekend making himself look like a senile fool--

and making the U.S. look like idiots for electing him.

Biden made one gaffe after another on the world stage and at one point, even the other leaders openly laughed at him.

Biden’s national security advisor Jake Sullivan confirms that the president meant to say Syria - when he said “Libya” three different times at his press conference.

Ten horribly embarrassing gaffes

and now he meets with Vladimir Putin!

The World is now seeing it!

Biden Was A Walking Disaster At G-7, Corrected By UK Prime Minister After Mental Lapse

During an appearance with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Biden had a mental lapse and corrected Boris, who then scolded the President of the United States.

Boris Johnson insists to Joe Biden that he already introduced the president of South Africa to a G7 meeting.

And then he continued to get his countries mixed-up confusing Syria with Lybia at three different times. He insinuated that the whole world might not have heard of his favorite topic and the one that catapulted him into office, COVID-19
