Power Forward Communities was established in October 2023 as a coalition led by Rewiring America, where Abrams serves as senior counsel.

Tt was revealed that the Biden administration had transferred the $20 billion, including Power Forward Communities’ share, to an account at Citibank before leaving office in January 2025.

This move, described as unusual by critics, limited the Trump administration’s oversight and ability to reclaim the funds. Lee Zeldin has prioritized retrieving these funds, calling the arrangement a “scheme” and highlighting concerns over transparency and potential waste. He noted that the allocation to an organization with minimal operational history—20 million times its reported revenue—was “extremely concerning.” Gimme a break!

Hunter Biden has joined meetings with President Joe Biden and his top aides since his father returned to the White House from Camp David, Maryland, on Monday evening, according to four people familiar with the matter.

The president’s son has also been talking to senior White House staff members, these people said.

While he is regularly at the White House residence and events, it is unusual for Hunter Biden to be in and around meetings his father is having with his team, these people said. They said the president’s aides were struck by his presence during their discussions.

Another person familiar with the matter said the reaction from some senior White House staff members has been, “What the hell is happening?”

In May, an El Paso judge dismissed all criminal charges against the migrants who attacked troops that day.

There were roughly 40 migrants charged, so after the cases were dismissed, they were turned over to ICE, who reportedly set them all free.

The Trump campaign Thursday accused President Joe Biden of hypocrisy with executive privilege after refusing to release audio of his interview with special counsel Robert Hur.

Biden asserted executive privilege over the audio of his Hur interview that is at the center of a Republican effort to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress, the Justice Department told lawmakers earlier in the day.

"Crooked Joe Biden and his feeble administration have irretrievably politicized the key constitutional tenet of executive privilege, denying it to their political opponents while aggressively trying to use it to run political cover for Crooked Joe," Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung wrote in a statement.

According to the report, investigators found Joe Biden’s “memory was significantly limited” in interviews they conducted with him in 2023 as well as interviews with his ghostwriter.

Because of that, special counsel Robert Hur wrote in the report, investigators concluded that it “would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him – by then a former president well into his eighties – of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

“Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” they wrote, adding that Biden “is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt.”

Federal Court: Biden Must Spend Border Wall Funds on Border Wall Construction

A federal judge on Friday shot down the Biden administration’s plans to divert money from border wall construction to other projects like environmental remediation, ruling that it appears to violate the law.

Judge Drew B. Tipton said Congress gets to decide how money is spent and when it wrote its spending bills for fiscal years 2020 and 2021 it allocated nearly $1.4 billion each year for wall-building. The president (Biden) ambled on that he decided to spend wall-building money on “remediation projects.”

The government said it should have leeway to spend the money and argued the remediation projects were ancillary to the wall and should be allowed.

Wrong, said the Judge. Judge Tipton said the way Congress wrote the law was quite specific in saying the money should go to barriers along the border.

Judge Tipton said the government identified just two locations where new wall was being built: A 500-foot gap in Arizona and a structure along the Tijuana River channel in California.

But the rest of the money has been earmarked for illegal purposes, the judge ruled.

As part of its defense the Justice Department had argued to the judge that walls weren’t effective, but the judge said Homeland Security’s own data says they are.
