Collapsed Bank Gave Gender Pronoun “Lecture” 5 Months Before Disaster

When Silicon Valley Bank failed on Sunday, clients were so alarmed that they withdrew over $10 billion in deposits, prompting the federal government to take over Signature Bank, making it the third-greatest bank failure in U.S. history.

For Signature Bank, “sustainability, diversity, equality, inclusion, community participation, employee development, employee health and safety, and any other environmental, social, or governance-related efforts” were all important ways to show their support for wokery.

Signature Bank ran a “Social Impact” series, one of which was to learn all about pronouns. The symposium featured “genderqueer trans masculine person” Finn Brigham, a corporate counsel on gender issues headquartered in Manhattan.

I'll never understand why there are so many dumb ass people, not only running banks, but businesses in general who want to scam us or stuff liberal wokeism down our throats. We have, in the past, trusted banks with our money. So now, we all will be researching the financial entities with whom we do business. Who can you trust?

• will the bank protect my money and my identity and my financial information
• will the bank honor the promises that it has made, explicit or otherwise, in relation to core services

CNN, the organization most closely associated with fake news remains determined to continue its anti-Trump death spiral and the phony impeachment inquiry has them racing toward bankruptcy.

Consider who they have-- Jake Tapper, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer and Jim Acosta to name four of the main anti-Trumpers. Why don't they like Trump? Because he is not afraid of them and continues his mission to Drain the Swamp.

It couldn't happen to a more deserving anti-trump fake news outfit and arm of the Democrat Party that once was a legitimate source for news you could trust. NO more. Now we have Fox trying to be more "fair and balanced" than they were but are hiring liberal, Left-winger Trump haters. That will be their downfall if they continue with this business plan.

Liberals continue to lose their minds--a broken congressman from an ultra-liberal broken city, Chicago. Meanwhile: 39 shootings in Chicago last weekend, 9 deaths. No national media outrage. Why is that?

Crazed Washington Ideologues

Recently the Department of the Treasury, responsible for keeping track of sanctions and violations of sanctions, turned its bureaucratic eye toward the massive convoys of Toyota Hilux pick-up trucks in possession of ISIS. How the heck did they get such a massive fleet of identical tactical war-machines? They put some pressure on Toyota at first: do you know anything about how these bad guys got all the trucks? Toyota had no clue, as it only makes cars.

Carey Davis was just elected mayor in this crisis-ridden city, San Bernardino, California, a city that is bankrupt. The voters literally kicked all of the bums out and elected new leaders.

Davis, a businessman and political novice, ran in part on a campaign to reduce the city's pension obligations. In an interview in November, when he became one of two mayoral candidates, he said the city had to cut spending on police and fire departments, currently more than 70 percent of the budget. He could have been talking about Lake Worth.

We have budgeted $15,057,593 for police and $2,890,807 for fire services in a total budget of $29,888,060 presented in the first budget amendment of January 7, 2014.  Pension plans are taking a big bite of our apple.  The Collins Institute has already reported that pension plans in Riviera Beach, Boca Raton, Jupiter, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth earned D’s.

Public safety issues are always in the news...crime all over the County especially in Lake Worth where the reporting is downplayed. Actually, the Post must have given up on our city as no one is covering it. Why would they send down a reporter when our meetings get out in 1.5 hours with important issues kept under wrap and crime is getting commonplace?

What Lake Worth describes as "non-controllable" costs, and like San Bernardino, take nearly 70% of our operating revenues which include healthcare and employee costs.  The remaining 30% is spent on fixing pot holes and this commission has a plan for that--Lake Worth 20/20-- to fix the infrastructure and attract developers on taxpayer debt. The commission has been silent on this roads/infrastructure and Park of Commerce plan of late but look to see it revived after the election.  The City has always been intimidated by the unions and the last thing it wants is a legal hassle. They would rather look to you for the "fix."

The unions, along with pensions, public safety and employee costs will continue to be our albatross.
