Trump's safety at Inauguration polled

Rasmussen Poll: 55 Percent Worried Trump Unsafe at Inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump may have survived two assassination attempts while on the campaign trail last year, but a majority of voters in a new Rasmussen Reports poll say they're concerned he won't be safe at his inauguration on Monday.

According to the survey, 55% of likely U.S. voters say they are worried about Trump's safety at his swearing-in ceremony, including 31% who say they are very concerned.

Conversely, 41% say they are not concerned, including 26% who say they are not at all concerned about the incoming president's safety.

And as far as watching the inauguration--Republicans are the most likely political group to be watching on Monday, with 85% saying they plan to watch at least some of it on TV, including the 42% who say they expect to watch the entire inauguration.

On the other side of the aisle, 54% of Snowflakes, aka Democrats, say they don't plan to watch any of Trump's inauguration. And 63% of independents say they expect to watch at least part of the inauguration, including 20% who say they will watch all of it.

Inauguration Day Weather

An Arctic blast will give Trump the coldest inauguration in 40 years

CNN — The coldest air of winter so far will blast into Washington, DC, on Monday as President-elect Donald Trump stands up in front of the capitol to take his oath of office.

The temperature on Inauguration Day at noon — when the president-elect swears in — is expected to be in the low-20s, which is around 20 degrees below normal.

It will likely be the coldest Inauguration Day since President Ronald Reagan’s second inauguration in 1985 when the noon temperature was 7 degrees. The noon temperature was 28 degrees for President Obama’s first inauguration in 2009.

Winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph are likely Monday. These winds will make conditions feel downright frigid. Wind chills are likely to hover around 10 degrees during the daylight hours Monday and could drop into the single digits after sundown.

American Flag to fly at full-staff at Capitol on Inauguration Day

Speaker Johnson: Capitol flags will fly full-staff at Trump inauguration

CV NEWS FEED // House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-LA, announced Tuesday that U.S. Capitol Building flags will fly full-staff at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Johnson’s decision conflicts with outgoing President Joe Biden’s order that American flags on “all public buildings and grounds” remain at half-staff “for a period of 30 days” following the passing of late President Jimmy Carter last month. Biden’s order will expire on Jan. 28 – eight days after Trump’s inauguration.

“On January 20th, the flags at the Capitol will fly at full-staff to celebrate our country coming together behind the inauguration of our 47th President, Donald Trump,” the speaker wrote on X (formerly Twitter) Tuesday morning.

He added that the “flags will be lowered back to half-staff the following day to continue honoring President Jimmy Carter.” [catholicvote.org]

Trump’s Iconic Garbage Truck to Feature in Inauguration Parade

The recent events leading up to Election Day have indeed been a whirlwind of action and controversy, marked by unforgettable moments that defined the political spectacle. One of these standout instances was when Donald Trump made his unforgettable appearance at an event by driving a distinctive ‘Trump’ branded garbage truck.

This bold move was in direct reaction to Joe Biden’s earlier comments, where he allegedly referred to Trump supporters as “garbage.” This striking visual and symbolic gesture by Trump left a lasting impression, highlighting his unapologetic approach to politics.

The latest development in this unfolding narrative is the announcement that the famous Trump-branded garbage truck will be proudly featured in Trump’s forthcoming inauguration day parade. This revelation has been met with excitement and approval by Trump supporters, as it epitomizes the essence of Trump’s unique political style. It’s another testament to his ability to turn criticisms into symbols of defiant pride and solidarity amongst his base. [patriotchronicals]

Zuck sees the Light

Meta donated $1 million to Donald Trump’s inaugural fund

as the social media giant takes steps to improve relations with the president-elect

The donation was first reported by The Wall Street Journal. Meta confirmed the donation to the Journal.

Inaugural fund expenses are designated for expenses associated with the presidential inauguration.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Trump’s feud stretches back to Trump’s first presidency.

In August, Trump threatened that Zuckerberg would “spend the rest of his life in prison” if he tried to interfere in the 2024 US election.

But recently, Zuckerberg, who did not endorse a candidate in the 2024 presidential election, has been working to mend relations with Trump.

Last month, Zuckerberg visited Trump at his resort in Mar-a-Lago for Thanksgiving Eve dinner.

Military Prepared for Inauguration

If You Figure there is Going to be a Biden Inauguration, Don’t Bet on It!

By Peter Ticktin

Some Trump supporters are into wishful thinking and fantasy land. But read this article--it's an interesting observation and opinion as to what this writer believes is going on. And this might be why Democrats were determined to Impeach, Convict or use the 25th Amendment BEFORE the inauguration.

Trump's Inaugural Committee under Criminal Investigation in New York

By hook or by crook--

Federal prosecutors are investigating whether President Trump’s inaugural committee misspent some of the raised $107 million. Out of all that money, I am sure that they will find $5 bucks somewhere that might have been misspent.

They just won't let up. They have deep pockets--taxpayer money. They absolutely must find something corrupt on President Trump or they will never be happy.

An Antifa Thug - Justice

Liberals believe that laws are for the other guy and justify all their illegal actions. But not this time! This Antifa creep plead guilty to a couple of felonies on the rioting, destruction and assaults that took place on private property as well as against citizens and police on Donald Trump's Inauguration Day. 230 thugs were arrested that day. This is just one of them. It's sad when anarchists and crazies attempt to take over a civil society.

This anarchist group calls itself "Antifa" which refers to: Anti-fascism, the opposition to fascist ideologies, groups and individuals. The only irony is that they ARE the fascists. This doublespeak is right out of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.

"Unfortunately, this [prosecution] is what it is going to take for these entitled liberal creeps to get it." This guy faces one to three years."You cannot do what you want when it involves injuring others. I thought that was already understood by everyone. I guess liberals thought they were exempted from pesky things like laws."
