"I love the Inflation"
Democrats strip Trump's inflation remarks from context as president reveals Strait of Hormuz operation
President Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday that he "loves the inflation", and within hours, Democratic leaders had clipped the quote, stripped it of context, and blasted it across social media. What they left out was everything that followed the word "inflation": a detailed account of a military operation against Iranian oil shipments, a claim that more than 100 million barrels of oil had been pushed through the Strait of Hormuz, and a prediction that prices would collapse once the conflict ends.
The full exchange, as CBS News reported, began when a reporter asked Trump whether he was concerned that the Consumer Price Index had risen to an annual rate of 4.2%, up from 3.8% the prior month and the highest reading since April 2023.
Trump's answer was not a celebration of grocery prices. It was a pivot to what he described as a previously undisclosed military campaign against Iran's oil infrastructure and shipping capacity, one he said explained why oil sat at $85 a barrel and why he expected prices to fall sharply once the operation concluded.
What Trump actually said--The president's full remarks in the Oval Office went well beyond the four-word clip Democrats circulated. Trump told the reporter:
"The numbers were great. You know what I really love? I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over. You know, I can say it now, something you didn't know. Did you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know about it? Iran, until right now. We took out the other night, 22 ships. Late at night, with no lights. Because they don't have any radar because we blasted the crap out of it. We took out. That's why oil's $85 a barrel."Read more about it...

The Quid Pro Quo Nobody in the Media Will Name
Barack Obama Told Stephen Colbert to Run for President and Nobody Laughed
That's just funny in itself
Stephen Colbert called Vladimir Putin Donald Trump's "cockholster" on national television and CBS called it comedy. Now the show is hemorrhaging $40 million a year and CBS pulled the plug.
And the man who just showed up to say goodbye told Colbert he should run for president. Obama flew to Chicago to tape the interview inside his brand-new presidential library – the one opening June 19 and requiring a photo ID to enter.
Colbert got his farewell tongue bath from his favorite president.
Obama got 15 minutes of free advertising for a monument to himself.
That's how the left takes care of its own.

CBS Reports on Southern Poverty Law Center
CBS News gets noticed for indictment it didn't ignore
Only one of the “Big Three” TV networks reported on the federal indictment announced this week against the Southern Poverty Law Center, but that segment from CBS News is being praised for standing out as a rare example of objective coverage. The so-called “Big Three” networks are CBS, ABC, and NBC, all pioneers in television entertainment and news coverage. It didn’t go unnoticed this week that only CBS told its audience a federal grand jury handed down an 11-count indictment against the controversial Alabama-based organization.
“The Justice Department charged the organization with fraud for allegedly misleading donors and lying to financial institutions,” Jan Crawford, the news network’s chief legal correspondent, states in the two-minute news segment.
Tim Graham, of the Media Research Center, told AFN the media watchdog was watching when ABC and NBC ignored the news.

Colbert’s January plunge is both the headline and the punchline
Colbert’s Ratings Plummet Ahead of Cancellation
Couldn't happend to a more deserving unfunny guy
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert just posted jaw-dropping lows. It couldn’t come at a worse time for the program — or a better time for critics.Nielsen shows the key 25–54 demo averaging roughly 285,000 viewers in January. That’s the audience advertisers actually pay attention to. In plain terms: the show is tanking where it matters most.
The drop didn’t happen overnight. Numbers have slid for years. But losing the 25–54 crowd is a different kind of problem. Late-night TV survives on that audience. When it evaporates, so do ad dollars and affiliate confidence.
Why did viewers leave? A lot of reasons. The show stuck to the same script for years. The monologues leaned heavy on one political lane. Guest lists read like a left-wing roll call. People can get that content on cable news or streaming. They don’t need it on late night.
Colbert could have shifted direction. He didn’t. Stubborn programming choices kept the same tone night after night. That kind of sameness wears out an audience.
With an announced cancellation already on the books, the ratings trajectory looks like a confirmation. Viewers checked out long before the network pulled the plug. Which means the network’s decision now seems inevitable.

Who stays up until 11:35 to watch CBS's non-funny "comedian attacking Trump every night? The entire monologue is about Trump and it’s not even humorous. When you alienate half the country, whether you think you’re justified or not, there’s almost zero reason for a network to keep wasting money on you.

CBS wants more balance on the stories they produce
BBS News Head pulls sory
"The weekend ended with a big hullabaloo about Bari Weiss, head of the failing news division at CBS. Weiss pulled a story on 60 Minutes because it was incomplete. She wanted more balance and better reporting on the piece. Cries of censorship were immediate and frankly, unconvincing.
“One of Ms. Weiss’s suggestions was to include a fresh interview with Stephen Miller, a White House deputy chief of staff and the architect of Mr. Trump’s immigration crackdown, or a similarly high-ranking Trump administration official, two of the people said. Ms. Weiss provided contact information for Mr. Miller to the 60 Minutes staff.
“Ms. Weiss also questioned the use of the term migrants to describe the Venezuelan men who were deported, noting that they were in the United States illegally, two of the people said.”
CBS did not censor Sharyn Alfonsi. Weiss asked her to tell the other side of the story. We will see if she does." [Don Surber]

Fake News Interviews Ambassador Huckabee in Gaza
CBS Edits Huckabee Israel Interview — The Truth They Cut Out
On August 7, 2025, CBS News aired a four-minute interview between correspondent Debora Patta and U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. What viewers saw was a diplomat appearing defensive and dismissive on Gaza’s humanitarian crisis. What they didn’t see were entire sections of the conversation that dismantled Hamas propaganda, exposed massive aid theft, and debunked false reports. Those parts were cut, and the edits all tilted in the same direction—away from Israel’s defense and toward Hamas’s narrative.
During the interview, Huckabee explained that Hamas made half a billion dollars in 2024 by stealing humanitarian food shipments, selling them on the black market, and inflating prices to starving civilians.
He relayed reports from aid recipients who, for the first time, didn’t have to pay Hamas for food. This section never made it to air, eliminating one of the most damaging accusations against Hamas’s leadership.
CBS also cut Huckabee’s account of a false report claiming 27 people were killed at a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation site. He said video footage showed no one was injured, yet major outlets like The New York Times, The Washington Post, BBC, and CNN all ran the story before quietly issuing small corrections.
Without this example, CBS left viewers thinking his skepticism about casualty numbers was unfounded.

Epstein: Suicide or Murder?
Epstein forensic video analysis bombshell leaves Pam Bondi’s head spinning
The Jeffrey Epstein saga just got a whole lot more complicated.New video evidence is making some very powerful people squirm in Washington, D.C.
And CBS dropped one explosive bombshell about Jeffrey Epstein that had Pam Bondi’s head spinning. Mystery person shows up on camera at 4 a.m.
CBS News just finished a forensic analysis of the Epstein surveillance footage that the Department of Justice released – and they found something the feds apparently missed.
An unidentified third person appears on camera in the Special Housing Unit’s common area at 4:05 a.m. on August 10, 2019.
That’s just two hours before guards supposedly discovered Epstein hanging in his cell.

More Trump Derangement from Media
SICK MSM: Afghan Refugee Story Hijacked for Anti-Trump Rant
The liberal media’s obsession with attacking President Donald Trump has reached embarrassing new heights—or rather, new depths—in a recent CBS report that bizarrely shoehorned cheap, irrelevant jabs at the 45th president into what should have been a straightforward human-interest story. The network’s pathetic attempt to smear Trump, while downplaying the real issues at hand, is a glaring example of how far the once-respected Tiffany Network has fallen.
The segment, which ostensibly focused on an Afghan refugee now working with Catholic Charities, opened with a cringe-worthy, politically charged introduction by CBS anchors Maurice DuBois and John Dickerson.
Instead of leading with the heartwarming story of resilience, they opted for a disjointed rant about Trump’s past remarks, including his well-known “dictator on day one” quip and a lighthearted joke about the papal succession.
DuBOIS: “Candidate Donald Trump said he would be a dictator, but only on day one of his presidency. Well, now on day 100, he had a different idea. He said he’d like to be pope.”Liberals don't understand Trump's humor
DICKERSON: “That was his joking response when a reporter asked if he had a preference as to who should succeed Pope Francis.”

Producer of 60 Minutes resigned
‘60 Minutes’ Gives Statement After Producer Resigns
In a stunning on-air moment that shook the foundations of broadcast journalism, veteran “60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley closed Sunday’s broadcast with a powerful tribute—and a pointed rebuke. The resignation of longtime producer Bill Owens, after nearly four decades with CBS News, was not just a professional goodbye; it was a rallying cry for the embattled independence of one of America’s most iconic news programs.
Owens’ departure comes at a time of immense corporate turmoil. As Paramount, the parent company of CBS, pushes to complete a major merger that requires approval from the Trump administration, editorial independence at “60 Minutes” has come under unexpected scrutiny.
Paramount’s entanglement with a $20 billion lawsuit filed by former President Donald Trump only raises the stakes higher. Trump accuses CBS of election interference, alleging deceptive editing of an interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris during the crucial weeks leading up to the 2024 election.

Fake News getting more ridiculous
CBS News host claims free speech is how the Germans started the Holocaust
gets remedial history lesson from Marco Rubio
CBS News Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan didn't embarrass herself enough when JD Vance was on. She felt it necessary to double down talking about Vance to Secretary of State Marco Rubio. At issue is JD Vance defending free speech in Europe. Brennan claims free speech is what led Germany to the Holocaust. No, really. This is a thing that was said on the television. On a "news" program meant to inform. In 2025.
Rubio clapped back as the kids say, and was all like, "Free speech was not used to conduct a genocide. The genocide was conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime. There was no free speech in Nazi Germany. There was also no opposition in Nazi Germany. That’s not an accurate reflection of history."
What's with these "news" organizations? Scary stuff.

Trump sues CBS for $10 billion
Former President Donald Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit Thursday against CBS
after the network appeared to manipulate a recent “60 Minutes” segment to allegedly favor his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. The lawsuit claims that CBS aired a curated version of Harris’s response to a critical question about the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, purposely omitting parts of her answer that cast doubt on the Biden administration’s stance on Israel’s military actions, according to the complaint filed in federal court in Texas.
Trump’s legal team argued that CBS engaged in “deliberate deception,” presenting an edited version of the interview that avoided what the lawsuit calls a “word salad” 🥗 of mixed messaging from Harris.
“To paper over Kamala’s ‘word salad’ weakness, CBS used its national platform on 60 Minutes to cross the line from the exercise of judgment in reporting to deceitful, deceptive manipulation of news,” the lawsuit reads.

CBS cleans up Kamala Harris' word salad statement 🥗
Disgraced ’60 Minutes’ Admits Editing Kamala’s Answer, Refuses to Release Transcript
Nearly two weeks after 60 Minutes was caught rigging an interview to make Kamala Harris sound coherent, the disgraced outlet released a statement admitting it edited her answer. In a promotional clip released by CBS News to promote the Harris interview, this was the sitting vice president’s disastrous answer to a question from 60 Minutes correspondent Bill Whitaker about her administration’s inability to influence Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region. After that clip earned wide ridicule, when the interview was broadcast on 60 Minutes, CBS News replaced the word salad. Viewers watched Kamala give a very different answer to the exact same question:
We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.Read more

Kamala Harris' response different on CBS
60 Minutes' Broadcast Airs Two Different Harris Answers to the Same Question
CBS aired two different answers from Vice President Kamala Harris in its "60 Minutes" interview. The initial clip aired on "Face the Nation" Sunday. But when the full interview aired on Monday night, her response was noticeably different. On Sunday, Harris gave a lengthy, confusing answer to a question about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s relationship with the U.S. This version was mocked by conservatives. The lengthy answer didn’t make it to the primetime special. Instead, a more concise response was shown.
In the "Face the Nation" version, Harris said, "the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements... including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region."
But when aired on "60 Minutes," her answer changed. This time, she stated, "We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end."
CBS hasn’t explained why they aired two different versions.

Once a Liar, always a Liar
Analyst confirms there was 'panic' on Walz's face when he was asked about China
There's been a lot reported about the vice presidential debate between GOP candidate JD Vance and Democrat Tim Walz. What they said has been in many reports, including Walz's claim to be friends with school shooters.
And there was Vance when he called out the CBS moderators, who had promised not to fact-check, for lying about that and fact-checking anyway.
But now the comments from a "body language expert" are revealing that there was "panic" on Walz's face when he was asked about China.
It concerns Walz's previous claims to have been in Tiananmen Square in China around the time of that horrific and deadly confrontation between protesters and the communist regime's military.
It turns out that he was in Nebraska at the time he's suggested that he was overseas, and CBS asked.

J.D. Vance tried to set record straight as CBS cut his mic
CBS News debate moderator Margaret Brennan hammered Sen. J.D. Vance with a “fact check”
suggesting that foreign nationals on Temporary Protected Status (TPS) are here legally, yet experts say that the moderator’s take doesn’t hold water.During the vice presidential debate Tuesday night, Brennan — appearing to break a rule previously set by CBS that moderators would not fact check candidates — responded to Vance by appearing to suggest that those on TPS have legal status in the country and those who enter through the CBP One app also have a similar status.
However, immigration experts that spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation say Brennan’s “fact check” was incorrect, noting that those who obtain TPS are not automatically granted legal status and inadmissible foreign nationals enter the U.S. via the CBP One app daily.
“CBS moderator Margaret Brennan was wrong in her ‘fact check’ regarding Haitian migrants,” Julie Kirchner, executive director of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), said to the DCNF, adding that most Haitian migrants who have entered the U.S. in the past four years have no legal status.
“Haitians who enter the country illegally and then obtain temporary protected status are shielded from deportation, but receiving temporary protected status does not confer legal status.”

CBS never had the courtesy of contacting Vance to see if he was available or give any details. It's their way or the highway attitude.

Jim Jordan has concerns over press freedom and journalistic integrity
Jim Jordan announces inquiry into seizure of journalist Catherine Herridge’s personal documents
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has initiated an inquiry into the seizure of journalist Catherine Herridge's documents and files by CBS News after her dismissal.Jordan, as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is questioning CBS News' actions following the dismissal of Senior Investigative Correspondent Catherine Herridge. Known for her work on the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, among other things, Herridge recenty faced the seizure of her personal files, sparking a First Amendment controversy, The Pavlovic Today reported.
“The unprecedented actions of CBS News threaten to chill good journalism and ultimately weaken our nation’s commitment to a free press,” Jordan stated in his correspondence to CBS News President Ingrid Ciprián-Matthews.
Jordan's inquiry demands detailed information from CBS, including the identities of those responsible for Herridge's termination and the decision to confiscate her confidential materials.

West Palm Beach Mayor addresses AntiSemetism
Crime, homelessness, antisemitism: WPB mayor delivers 5th annual State of the City Address
West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James delivered the fifth annual State of the City Address Thursday morning. Some of the main topics James touched on was violent crimes, homelessness, economic growth, residential development, infrastructure improvements and inclusivity for all demographics in the city. Also, he brought up antisemitism.
James said a notable antisemitic incident occurred this time a year ago, when two masked men used a projector to reveal a swastika and other hateful messages on the AT&T building downtown. More acts of hate were seen in other parts of the community through the rest of the year, but the mayor says it will not be tolerated in 2024.
“We swiftly implemented measures to combat hateful acts, sending a clear act that west palm beach stands firmly against discrimination and hate of any type. Not here, not in our city. Not on our watch,” said James.
The city adopted an ordinance that would result in jail time and fines for anyone who participates in this kind of hate. I think Lake Worth Beach should as well.
