Brand-new push for special counsel probe into Anthony Fauci who 'led this cover-up'

The saga of the COVID doctor who was 'drunk with power, drunk with pride, drunk with his own celebrity' may not be over just yet ...

A U.S. senator and trained physician who sat behind Anthony Fauci during his appearance before Congress last week is pushing for a special counsel to probe possible criminal wrongdoing by the COVID doctor despite a pardon from former President Joe Biden.

Appearing on "Sunday Morning Futures" with Maria Bartiromo on the Fox News Channel, Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, said, "I think there is evidence that should be investigated, but this would take a special counsel."

"Twenty million Americans still have long COVID, including one of my loved ones, so those people deserve answers as well. This is why I'm calling for a special counsel," Marshall explained.

"We need to get this out of Washington, get the politics out of it and then go back and build this case: that Anthony Fauci for over 20 years funded gain-of-function research, then he led this cover-up as well. Then we got to get into the autopen pardon."

"Maybe he's not immune from what he said in the past. Look, this guy's slick. He's lawyered up. I don't know that we can throw him in jail over this, but I think that certainly a special counsel needs to get a hold of this. There's no way we can address this in one morning hearing in Congress."

Sen. Rand Paul released Dr. Anthony Fauci's personal diary entries from the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the pages read less like a public-health chronicle than a Hollywood vanity journal.

Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who served as chief medical advisor to Presidents Trump and Biden, kept a running account of his daily life during the crisis, and the entries Paul's Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee made public reveal a man remarkably absorbed with his own fame even as the national death toll climbed into the tens of thousands.

The Kentucky Republican, who chairs the committee and has long clashed with Fauci over the federal pandemic response and the origins of the virus, released the diary package days before Fauci is scheduled to appear under subpoena for Senate testimony.

The timing is deliberate. Paul wants the public to read Fauci's own words before Fauci takes the oath.

Fauci wrote that his national and international fame was "explosive and really unimaginable." He called it "not hyperbole" that he was "the most famous and talked about person in the country." He described "countless" profiles written about him, some, he noted, without anyone even interviewing him, as Fox News reported.

That is not a man focused on stopping a pandemic. That is a man keeping score.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning gain-of-function research on pandemic pathogens that many believe was the true source of the coronavirus pandemic.

The research typically involves modification of existing viruses in order to make them more infectious and studying the outcomes in order to prevent and treat possible pandemics.

After the global pandemic, many theorized that the source of the virus was a laboratory leak involving gain-of-function research, possibly at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The theory was initially ridiculed as a racist conspiracy theory by many (Democrats), but has since been corroborated by more evidence.

Illegal Chinese Bio Lab Discovered in Central California

Reedley is a small city in California’s San Joaquin Valley, just east of Fresno. But a troubling discovery there in early March has recently come to light — and raises a number of questions.

It began with a garden hose attached illegally to a warehouse near the center of town. The building was supposed to be vacant. When code enforcement officers from the city went to investigate, they discovered that it was in use and observed several code violations.

“It was pretty clear right off the bat that something was going on we didn’t have a business license for,” Reedley City Manager Nicole Zieba said. “They didn’t have any city approvals; that building was supposed to be vacant.” They moved in nearly a year ago.

As it turns out, it was a bio lab owned by Chinese full of biological chemicals, 1,000 lab mice, 200 of which were already dead and they found thousands of vials, many of which contained biohazardous materials including human blood, and other unknown substances. Also discovered was one room of the warehouse that was used to produce COVID-19 and pregnancy tests.

Gain of function research was going on right in America. Boy, Rand would be pi**ed! Why are we just learning about this?

The COVID-19 pandemic may have started with two separate leaks at Chinese labs doing risky “gain of function” research, a Republican senator said Monday.

A report released by Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) raises the prospect that millions of lives could have been saved — including those of more than 1 million Americans — if not for a “coverup” by the Chinese government during a theorized initial outbreak.

“This report concludes most likely this was two leaks [including] a lab leak in the September-October [2019] time-frame, even as early as July or August,” the medical doctor turned senator told a small group of journalists ahead of the release of the 301-page document.
