Trump Renames two Landmarks

Trump Expected to Rename Two Iconic Landmarks in First Day in Office

Trump plans to sign executive orders renaming the Gulf of Mexico and Mount Denali on his first day in office. Incoming White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the news Monday.

The New York Post first reported the changes. The Gulf of Mexico will be renamed the Gulf of America, and Mount Denali will return to its original name, Mount McKinley. Both changes will be made official through executive action.

President Trump is bringing common sense to government and renewing the pillars of American Civilization," stated a preview of the order obtained by the Post.

The orders direct the Interior Secretary to update federal documents and maps with the new names. It's unclear if schools will also be required to adopt these changes.

Biden loses in Appeals Court

US Appeals Court Orders Biden Admin to Conduct Gulf Oil, Gas Auction Within 37 Days

The Biden administration sought to restrict the offshore oil and gas lease sales.

A federal appeals court in New Orleans gave the Biden administration 37 days to move forward with the sale of oil and gas leases in the Gulf of Mexico, dismissing challenges from environmental groups in a ruling on Tuesday.

The decision comes after a series of legal battles, primarily citing concerns over endangered whale species.

The three-judge panel of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the attempts by environmental groups to block the leases, which had been delayed due to legal challenges related to whale protections.

Joe's Assault on America's Energy Shot Down by Judge

Federal Court Hands Biden a Surprise Loss – Then the Judge Hands Joe a Humiliating Lecture

Joe Biden has openly voiced his goals of eliminating fossil fuels and his administrative actions to date have left the U.S. energy world reeling. He continued his assault on America’s energy independence in recent actions by weaponizing wildlife protection laws.

Biden’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) imposed last-minute restrictions on an upcoming offshore oil and gas lease sale that spans millions of acres across the Gulf of Mexico. The lease was set to open next week before Biden’s BOEM shut it down.

The action didn’t sit well with a federal judge who struck down the administrative action. Judge James Cain of the Western District of Louisiana granted a preliminary injunction. He ruled that the federal government must proceed with the lease sale by Sept. 30 under its original conditions.

Biden's Decisions keep America in Decline

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), an arm of the Interior Department responsible for offshore energy development, has scaled back Lease Sale 261 in the Gulf of Mexico, scheduled for late September. This comes as the final planned federal oil and gas sale, and its impact is raising concerns within the energy industry.

The decision has drawn sharp criticism from industry leaders. Erik Milito, President of the National Ocean Industries Association, expressed concern over the exclusion of extensive and promising acreage that could potentially contribute to energy production.

The reduction in acreage could be detrimental, especially given the current economic climate with rising inflation affecting Americans’ costs, including gasoline prices. BOEM’s move is seen as a setback to America’s energy production capabilities, and industry voices argue that it goes against the country’s energy security needs. [steadfastdaily]
