"So this ruling is really a national security ruling and if they rule against the administration, they will be ruling against national security."

Never mind that those duties have already generated $215.2 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2025 and another $71 billion since October. Trump brought back hundreds of billions of dollars flowing into American coffers while protecting jobs from unfair foreign competition.

But a few activist judges decided they know better than the President about what constitutes a national emergency.

By doubling the levies, foreign companies ‘can no longer get over the fence,’ Trump said.

“In my judgment, the increased tariffs will more effectively counter foreign countries that continue to offload low-priced, excess steel and aluminum in the United States market and thereby undercut the competitiveness of the United States steel and aluminum industries,” Trump’s proclamation read.

“Although the previously imposed steel and aluminum tariffs have helped provide critical price support in the United States market, they have not yet enabled these industries to develop and maintain the rates of capacity production utilization that are necessary for the industries’ sustained health and for projected national defense needs.”

President Donald Trump said he plans to order a cut in US prescription drug costs by mandating that Americans pay no more than people in countries that have the lowest price.

Trump said in a social media post that he’ll sign the executive order at 9 a.m. Monday (today) in Washington.

While predicting that pharmaceutical prices could drop 30% to 80% in the US, Trump also said prices would likely “rise throughout the World in order to equalize and, for the first time in many years, bring FAIRNESS TO AMERICA!”
