You wouldn’t know any of this if you only listened to the Left. To hear Hollywood and the mainstream media tell it, ICE officers are jackbooted thugs ripping apart innocent families.

Just recently the Grammys, Bad Bunny—the same artist the NFL chose to headline the Super Bowl halftime show—stood on stage and declared “ICE out!” to thunderous applause from his celebrity friends.

Funny how a guy who refuses to tour in America because he’s worried about ICE has no problem lecturing Americans about immigration policy. The dehumanization campaign has been relentless, painting these public servants as villains rather than the protectors they are.

Then came Sunday night. Minutes after Bad Bunny finished his politically charged and prverted halftime performance, something unexpected aired to over 100 million Americans.

Commercial filmed in Lake Worth for South Florida Fair

We all know that we have a lot going on in our downtown especially on holidays.  Halloween was unbelievable! But from time to time there are things happening of which we are unaware...take yesterday--

A commercial was being filmed at the French House in Lake Worth by Levatas, headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens. Levatas is a privately-held, full-service communications agency and offers a full range of video production. They were producing a commercial for the South Florida Fair that will air beginning in December. Our own local celebrity, Greg Rice, was on the scene and behind the camera.

If I understand it correctly, the theme of the 30 second spot that took all day to shoot, takes place in a coffee shop with all sorts of interesting looking people (I heard that the racing pigs were even there) in various "get-ups" (Elvis was there). However, there is something unusual going on--they look up from their coffee cup and finally realize that they are the South Florida Fair.

By the time I arrived, many of the actors had already been filmed and had left. Luckily Miss South Florida Fair, Anisa Kornegay of Loxahatchee, was there looking beautiful.

Lake Worth entertaining idea of beach expansion?

The Town of Palm Beach is discussing it--the people of Lake Worth certainly are talking about it...it's our beach and all this discussion has been behind closed doors. Andy Amoroso knows what's going on--he's on the committee. And John Szerdi at the Lake Worth Playhouse debate said that someone had broken the cone of silence regarding it as his employer is the one who wants the city to approve his bid to expand it.

"Lake Worth has big plans for its Casino Building and Beach Complex in the South End — an expansion that would add more than 40,000 square feet to the oceanfront development."

We just got through spending $13 million on our beach.  This just isn't good enough for some people.
