Russia to help Trump with Iran Nuclear issue

Russia agrees to help Trump communicate with Iran on nuclear issue, Bloomberg reports

MOSCOW, March 4 (Reuters) - "Russia has agreed to assist U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration in communicating with Iran on various issues, including on Tehran's nuclear program and its support for regional anti-U.S. proxies, Bloomberg reported.

The report, which was picked up by Russian state media, quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying that "Russia believes that the United States and Iran should resolve all problems through negotiations" and that Moscow "is ready to do everything in its power to achieve this."

Trump last month restored his "maximum pressure" campaign on Iran which includes efforts to drive its oil exports down to zero in order to stop Tehran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Iran denies any such intention.

Russia has deepened its ties with the Islamic Republic since the start of the Ukraine war, and signed a strategic cooperation treaty with Iran in January."

Jeursalem Post: "Could this be part of a grand bargain where the US reduces support for Ukraine and Russia gets Iran closer to a new deal? In the past, president Barack Obama’s administration also linked reconciliation with Russia to hopes for an Iran deal. At the time, Russia benefited and invaded Ukraine in 2014.

The Trump administration’s new position appears to be more than just looking at a potential Iranian deal. Its stance involves a shift in focus to China and adjusting its relations with Russia. The question is whether Russia will mostly benefit from this or whether the US will as well.

Lack of Communication was the problem

Secret Service officials blamed their failure to protect Donald Trump on this shocking reason

The public has been waiting for answers on how Donald Trump could have been shot.

One of the reasons is finally being revealed.

And Secret Service officials blamed their failure to protect Donald Trump on this shocking reason. Secret Service makes major admission of fault for Trump’s Butler rally.

The Secret Service beat Congress, Homeland Security’s Inspector General, and the FBI to the punch by releasing a partial report on its investigations into the failures that led former President Donald Trump to be shot at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.

An initial report from the Secret Service Office of Professional Responsibility on the security failures at Butler admitted that poor communications between the agency’s security detail and local law enforcement contributed to what went wrong that day.

Local law enforcement was communicating with each other over text messages instead of Secret Service radio frequencies.

Butler PA Assassination Attempt was Communications failure

Secret Service Pins Blame On Communications ‘Deficiencies’--

For Its Failure To Prevent First Trump Assassination Attempt

A U.S. Secret Service report released Friday revealed several “communications deficiencies” that took place leading up to the July 13 assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania.

The five page report confirmed that faulty communications “inhibited the collective awareness” of both local and federal law enforcement tasked with securing the Butler rally, according to a summary of the report.

The document, summarizing the key conclusions of a yet-to-be finalized Secret Service report, lays bare the cascading and wide-ranging failings that preceded the July 13 shooting at the Butler, Pennsylvania, rally at which Trump was struck in the ear by gunfire.

Due to these security failures, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to take aim at and fire shots at the former president from a rooftop positioned just 130 yards from the rally stage.
