Iguana causes 'large-scale' power outage in Lake Worth Beach

City says Lake Worth Beach Electric Utility restores power in about 35 minutes

"Iguanas can cause all kinds of problems in South Florida — including causing power outages.

The city of Lake Worth Beach tweeted late Wednesday morning that there was a large-scale outage caused by an iguana. The issue occurred at the city's Sixth Avenue substation.

According to city spokesman Ben Kerr, the outage affected 1,431 customers yesterday in the South East area of their service area." [WPTV]

Top Union Leader Realizes Joe’s Real Agenda

A top union leader has slammed Joe Biden over his executive order cancelling the Keystone XL Pipeline, which cost approximately 11,000 construction jobs.

Actually, everyone should be slamming Joe for just about everything.

Nearly 4 million in Texas are without power due to a failed power grid because of frozen wind turbines.

According to reporting by Axios, “Organized labor is crucial to the Biden coalition. But there are significant tensions among environmentalists, the president’s team addressing climate change and some parts of the labor movement. The Laborers’ International Union of North America said the Keystone decision will cost 1,000 existing union jobs and 10,000 projected construction jobs.”

Yesterday's power outage Lake Worth

Did anyone know we had an outage other than those suffering it? The power outage was between First Ave. South to Eleventh Ave. South, between South A Street and the Intracoastal Waterway.
