New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani tried tugging at heartstrings with an emotional speech about Islamophobia outside a Bronx mosque on October 24. The Democratic Socialist frontrunner choked up while describing his aunt’s alleged trauma after the September 11 attacks.

“I want to speak to the memory of my aunt, who stopped taking the subway after September 11th because she did not feel safe in her hijab,” Mamdani said, pausing for dramatic effect.

The timing couldn’t have been more calculated. Mamdani was facing mounting criticism from opponents Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa over his radical positions and cozy relationships with controversial figures.

What better way to deflect than wrapping himself in victimhood? But within 48 hours, Mamdani’s tearjerker completely fell apart.

The Bureau of Justice Statistics released its annual National Crime Victimization Survey, which showed that violent crime jumped by 36% from 2021 to 2023.

During the presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump said that crime is increasing in the U.S. due to illegal immigration under her watch. "Crime is down all over the world except here. Crime here is up and through the roof," Trump said.

"Despite their fraudulent statements that they made, crime in this country is through the roof. We have a new form of crime. It’s called migrant crime, and it’s happening at levels that nobody thought possible," he added.

Muir jumped in to refute Trump's statement by asserting that "the FBI says overall, violent crime is actually coming down in this country." In reality, the Justice Department's numbers show a massive increase in crime since Trump left office.

Time has been forced to admit Harris wants you to pay for illegal aliens' sex-change mutilations.

During Tuesday's debate, President Donald Trump said that Kamala Harris "wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison," adding, "This is a radical left liberal that would do this."

The liberal media dutifully rushed to defend the vice president, claiming that Trump's assertion was false — which it is not. In doing so, misleading publications like the New Yorker not only drew greater attention to Harris' desire to mutilate illegal aliens' genitals using taxpayer money, but to their own propagandic nature.

Time magazine, another publication whose writers evidently underestimated Harris' radicalism, was among the offenders. Confronted with the truth of Trump's claim, it had to issue an embarrassing correction Wednesday.

"As a presidential candidate in 2019, Harris filled out a questionnaire saying she supported taxpayer-funded gender transition treatment for detained immigrants," added Time's correction.

Former presidential candidate and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy said, "Turns out the truth was too crazy for the fact checkers."

ABC News Mocked After ‘Fact Check’ Backfires

On Tuesday, the mainstream media once again came under fire for their coverage, with two separate incidents catching the attention of critics.

First, NBC News fact-checked a claim made by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis during the last GOP presidential debate. DeSantis had stated that he signed an executive order that led to the safe return of over 700 Floridians from Israel, where they were trapped during the recent conflict with Hamas. NBC News deemed the statement only “half true” because DeSantis himself did not fly the planes.

ABC News joined the fray, targeting DeSantis for a statement he made about Utah Senator Mitt Romney during a recent interview. DeSantis had said that he “didn’t know” Romney, who is retiring in 2024. ABC News then unearthed a black-and-white photo from DeSantis’ Harvard Law School yearbook, showing him holding a sign while campaigning for Romney in 2002. The headline of the ABC News article suggested that DeSantis was being dishonest about not knowing Romney.

While the Constitution prohibits government action to abridge free speech and press, it says nothing about the right of private companies and individuals to do so. Into this void is stepping large numbers of companies, businesses, and corporations dominated by small cliques of radical leftists.

Like cancer cells, they take over the management of the companies to use their powers and capital to advance their own agenda of Critical Race Agenda, trans-sexuality, and ESG objectives.

They are using their new powers to censor political viewpoints with which they disagree. For example, Congressman Ken Buck (R-Az) reports that “Google regularly suppresses search results for websites and news stories that present ideas contrary to their preferred narrative.”

So-called “fact checkers” have gotten into the act, downgrading conservative websites, and making it difficult for the sites to attract investments and advertisements.

Newsguard adamantly states that it is a non-partisan fact-checking group. Nevertheless, a recent investigation finds that the Bill Gates-backed organization has been exposed for accepting kickbacks from Democrat operatives in exchange for online censorship of conservatives.

Reports indicate that Biden’s Department of Defense paid Newsguard with public funds in order to stifle conservative and independent media online. In September 2021, the DOD paid Newsguard an enormous $749,387.

Newsmax reported that Former Amb. Ric Grenell called out NewsGuard's taking government contracts to potentially demonetize conservative speech and Biden administration dissent.

"Look, I see what's happening with NewsGuard: They're trying to be the referees, and instead of really calling out misinformation, which I think the State Department could do, they're calling out dissenting information," Grenell told Newsmax's "The Count." "They're trying to figure out who is against the narrative that the political types in Washington, D.C., want to push.

Google gives millions in grant to Network of Fact-Checkers

Google’s Mystery $13 Million Payment To Fact Checkers Revealed

A global network of fact-checkers “on the front lines of the fight against disinformation” will receive $13.2 million from Google and YouTube, the companies announced on Tuesday.

The International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), which consists of 135 fact-checking groups from 65 countries and over 80 languages, will be supported by a $12 million Global Fact Check Fund, which is the cornerstone of the investment. The Fund will debut in early 2023.

According to Google and YouTube, this is by far the largest donation they have ever received for fact-checking.

The 96 groups that have been embraced and are regarded to be under the IFCN’s fact-checking guidelines will receive the majority of the funding, according to the IFCN. PolitiFact, Reuters, Snopes, and The Washington Post Fact Checker are a few of them which we all know are left-leaning.
