Trump signs Executive Order that denys birthright citizenship

Trump Signs Orders Targeting Birth Tourism, Limiting Birthright Citizenship

President Donald Trump has signed two executive orders Thursday aimed at restricting automatic U.S. citizenship for some children born in the United States, including those born through the commercial "birth tourism" industry, according to Axios.

The orders mark the Trump administration's second attempt to narrow birthright citizenship after the Supreme Court limited the use of nationwide injunctions in challenges to the administration's broader executive order in June.

One order would seek to deny automatic citizenship to children born to foreign nationals who enter the United States solely to give birth so their children can obtain U.S. citizenship, a practice commonly known as birth tourism.

The order also seeks to prevent the use of surrogate mothers as part of commercial birth tourism operations.

Spanberger Says She Wants New Rules For Polling Places

Spanberger’s decision to bar ICE from polling stations draws scrutiny

Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger says she will sign an executive order meant to guide election workers if federal agents show up near polling places.

According to reporting on her remarks, the order is supposed to explain how state employees and people helping run Virginia elections should react if federal agents appear where voters are casting ballots.

That may sound calm on paper, but in plain English it means the governor now wants a rulebook for a situation Democrats keep telling us should not be happening in the first place.

The ICE Question Is Hard To Ignore. The odd part is simple. Democrats have spent years insisting that illegal aliens are not voting because federal law forbids it.

So if that is true, why the dramatic rush to keep ICE away from polling places? That is the kind of question that practically answers itself. If there is nothing to see, then why the panic?

The whole thing makes it look like the left is more worried about enforcement than election security, and that is never a good sign for people who still believe voting should be legal, orderly, and transparent.

Democrats sue again - Protecting the illegal votes

Democrats sue to block Trump executive order restricting mail-in ballot distribution

Congressional Democrats and the Democratic National Committee filed a lawsuit Wednesday to block President Trump's recent executive order cracking down on mail-in voting, setting up yet another legal battle over election integrity measures that the left reflexively frames as "voter suppression."

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and other party organizations joined the suit, with prominent Democratic election lawyer Marc Elias leading the charge.

The complaint targets an executive order that would restrict how mail-in ballots are distributed, part of a broader effort by the administration to ensure that only verified U.S. citizens receive them.

Earlier this week, President Trump announced that he directed Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, along with the Social Security Administration, to create a list of verified U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote. Under the order, the U.S. Postal Service will only be permitted to send ballots to those people.

Ensuring Election Integrity

Vote by Mail

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday regulating elections nationwide by establishing a list of voters eligible to vote by mail.

“The cheating on mail-in voting is legendary. It’s horrible what has been going on,” Trump said.

“If you don’t have honest voting, you can’t have, really, a nation.”

According to the order—which is expected to spark legal challenges—only American citizens are eligible to vote by mail, with lists verified by the Homeland Security Department, in coordination with the Social Security Administration.

The U.S. Postal Service is ordered to only send ballots to individuals included on the lists, with unique bar codes applied to each envelope—one per voter—to facilitate tracking and audits.

The Order

Gavin Newsom is objecting already. Well, of course he is, as in California law, every registered voter gets a ballot in the mail whether they requested one or not. Vote-by-mail ballot must be mailed or dropped off at a secure drop box, drop-off location, polling place, vote center, or county elections office by the close of polls at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.

California ballots mailed through USPS must be postmarked by Election Day and received by your county elections official no later than 7 days after Election Day and California even pays for the postage.

Ballots need to be received on or before Election day...that needs to be codified to end the craziness in California.

Judge says Trump can't defund NPR and PBS

Obama appointed Federal judge permanently blocks Trump executive order defunding NPR and PBS

A federal judge in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday permanently blocked President Donald Trump's executive order directing all federal agencies to cut off funding to NPR and PBS, ruling the action unconstitutional and calling it one of the clearest cases of government viewpoint discrimination he had seen.

U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss, an Obama appointee, found the executive order "unlawful and unenforceable" under the First Amendment. The ruling goes beyond the now-defunct Corporation for Public Broadcasting, barring federal agencies across the board from denying funding to the two media entities based on the president's directive.

The White House wasted no time pushing back. Spokesperson Abigail Jackson called it "a ridiculous ruling by an activist judge attempting to undermine the law," Fox News Digital reported.

Here is the core tension: taxpayers have a legitimate interest in deciding where their money goes, and the president has a legitimate interest in executing the spending priorities Congress sets.

But the judiciary keeps stepping in to tell this administration what it cannot do, and in this case, the judge's reasoning raises real questions about whether federal courts are effectively granting media organizations a permanent entitlement to public dollars.

What the judge said, and what he missed

The White House asserted that Congress had already voted to defund NPR and PBS. The administration has signaled it expects to appeal.

Judge Moss has ruled against Trump several times.

Voter ID

Trump Says He Will Sign Orders to Require Voter ID for Midterms

Republican Sen. Susan Collins became the latest to support the SAVE Act.

President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post Feb. 13 he plans to sign an executive order requiring voter ID for midterm elections this year as the SAVE Act remained on life support in the Senate.

“We cannot let the Democrats get away with NO VOTER I.D. any longer,” Trump posted. “Even Democrat Voters agree, 85 percent, that there should be Voter I.D.”

“This is an issue that must be fought, and must be fought, NOW! If we can’t get it through Congress, there are Legal reasons why this SCAM is not permitted. I will be presenting them shortly, in the form of an Executive Order,” Trump said.

The U.S. House passed the SAVE America Act on Feb. 11. Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) led the legislation that would require Americans to prove their citizenship when registering to vote.

Under the bill, citizens would have to show a photo identification when casting ballots, including mail-in ballots.

Marijuana being reclassified

Trump signs executive order that would reclassify marijuana as less dangerous drug

President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday that would reclassify marijuana as a less dangerous drug and open new avenues for medical research, a major shift in federal drug policy that inches closer to what many states have done.

The switch would move marijuana away from its current classification as a Schedule I drug, alongside heroin and LSD. Cannabis would instead be a Schedule III substance, like ketamine and some anabolic steroids.

Polling from Gallup shows more Americans back a less restrictive approach: Support for marijuana legalization has grown significantly, from just 36% support in 2005 to 68% last year.

Trump's order also calls for expanded research and access to CBD, a legal and increasingly popular hemp-derived product whose benefits are debated by experts.

TikTok Executive Order signed Assuring American Public

Trump Signs Order Declaring TikTok Sale Meets US Requirements

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday declaring that his plan to sell TikTok's U.S. operations to U.S. and global investors will meet the requirements in a 2024 law that says the short video app will be banned unless its Chinese owners sell it.

Trump has delayed enforcement of the law until December 16 amid efforts to extract TikTok's U.S. assets from the global platform, line up American investors and win approval from the Chinese government.

The proposed divestiture resolves the national security concerns and complies with the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (Act) by removing TikTok in the United States from China’s control.

The divestiture puts the operation of the algorithm, code, and content moderation decisions under the control of the new joint venture.

The divestiture prohibits the storage of sensitive U.S. user data in a manner that would allow such data to be under the control of a foreign adversary. All U.S. user data will be stored in a trusted, secure, and purpose-built cloud environment in the United States run by Oracle.

The divestiture includes intense monitoring of software updates, the algorithm, and data flows, and it requires all recommendation models, including algorithms, that use U.S. user data to be retrained and monitored by America’s trusted security partners. This ensures U.S. content is free from improper manipulation.

Trump Brings Back the Department of War

Trump Made One Change to the Pentagon That Has America Thinking Like Winners Again

The Pentagon has been playing defense for way too long.

For decades, our military brass got comfortable with the idea that America’s job was just to react to threats instead of eliminating them.

But Trump just signed one executive order that brings back the mindset that won us two world wars.

President Donald Trump signed his 200th executive order Friday, and this one’s going to drive the Left absolutely crazy.

He’s officially restoring the historic name "Department of War" to what’s been called the Department of Defense since 1949.

The order makes "Department of War" a secondary title for the Pentagon, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will now also carry the title "Secretary of War."

Voter ID - Trump to make Executive Order

Trump to Sign Voter ID Executive Order

President Donald Trump says he plans to sign an executive order aimed at requiring voter ID in elections across the country.

Trump made the statement on social media late Saturday night, saying he is also seeking other reforms to how U.S. elections take place.

"Voter I.D. Must Be Part of Every Single Vote. NO EXCEPTIONS! I Will Be Doing An Executive Order To That End!!! Also, No Mail-In Voting, Except For Those That Are Very Ill, And The Far Away Military. USE PAPER BALLOTS ONLY!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Trump previously attempted to impose voter ID via an executive order earlier this year in a wider election integrity action but Clinton appointed Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia struck down the portions of that order that related to voter identification requirements.

The vast majority of voters support voter ID.

Cashless Bail is over

Trump Just Crushed One Leftist Policy That Had Every Criminal Defense Lawyer Celebrating

Donald Trump walked into the Oval Office at the start of the week with one mission in mind.

The catch-and-release experiment that turned America’s streets into a crime playground was about to meet its match.

And Trump just signed one executive order that sent shock waves through every courthouse in America.

Trump didn’t mince words when he put pen to paper.

Two executive orders targeted the cashless bail policies that have plagued jurisdictions across the country.

The first order specifically tackles Washington, D.C.’s cashless bail nightmare, while the second threatens federal funding for any state or local government that continues these dangerous policies.

The message couldn’t be clearer – if you want federal dollars, you better start taking public safety seriously.

Mail-In Ballots Elimination

Mail-In Ballots, reliable source of cheating

After claiming cheating Democrats and mail-in ballots lost him a second term in 2020, President Trump says he remains concerned about election integrity.

Looking ahead to future elections, he has assembled a team of lawyers to craft an executive order for the elimination of mail-in voting.

Getting rid of mail-in ballots, the president says, is part of his effort to bring honesty to the 2026 midterms.

Attorney Cleta Mitchell is a senior legal fellow at the Conservative Partnership Institute and is founder of the Election Integrity Network. During an appearance on Washington Watch this week, she praised the president's decision.

Republicans flatly accuse Democrats of using loose election rules to cheat and win elections, especially in large Democrat-run cities where urban votes dwarf ballots cast in conservative rural areas.

If Republican claims are true, and mail-in ballots are a reliable source of cheating, then banning them could set back Democrats even in their big-city strongholds.

Trump embraces a culture of strength and excellence

Trump revives Presidential Fitness Test with executive action

Brace yourselves, America -- President Donald Trump is bringing back the Presidential Fitness Test, a nostalgic blast from the past aimed at getting our kids off the couch and into shape, as Fox News reports.

On Thursday, Trump signed an executive order to resurrect the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition, alongside reinstating the once-iconic fitness test, as part of a broader push to combat declining health trends across the nation.

This isn’t just a whim; it’s a calculated move to counter the alarming slide in physical wellness that’s plagued our country for years. A White House official confirmed the details to Fox News, signaling that the administration is serious about reversing what many see as a culture of sedentary excess. Let’s hope this isn’t just a symbolic flex but a real step toward tangible change.

History buffs will recall that the President’s Council on Youth Fitness was first established under President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956, a time when physical prowess was a point of national pride. Later, President Lyndon B. Johnson introduced the Presidential Physical Fitness Award in 1966, setting a standard for youth to strive toward.

Fast forward to more recent times, and President Barack Obama phased out the original test, replacing it with the Presidential Youth Fitness Program -- a move many conservatives felt watered down the competitive spirit. Now, Trump is steering us back to a model that celebrates grit and excellence over participation trophies. Turns out, sometimes the old ways have a point worth revisiting.

Trump's signs Executive Order to make streets safe

Trump delivers on promise to restore order to America’s streets

President Trump made good on a key campaign promise Thursday when he signed an executive order titled "Ending Crime and Disorder on America’s Streets."

The order represents a complete overhaul of how the federal government approaches the homelessness crisis that has turned major cities into dangerous, unlivable wastelands.

The administration’s approach focuses on getting people off the streets and into treatment centers where they can actually receive help for the mental health and addiction issues that plague the overwhelming majority of homeless individuals.

"Endemic vagrancy, disorderly behavior, sudden confrontations, and violent attacks have made our cities unsafe," the executive order states.

Gain-of-Function Research Banned

Trump Bans Federal Funding for Gain-of-Function Research

President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning gain-of-function research on pandemic pathogens that many believe was the true source of the coronavirus pandemic.

The research typically involves modification of existing viruses in order to make them more infectious and studying the outcomes in order to prevent and treat possible pandemics.

After the global pandemic, many theorized that the source of the virus was a laboratory leak involving gain-of-function research, possibly at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The theory was initially ridiculed as a racist conspiracy theory by many (Democrats), but has since been corroborated by more evidence.

Executive Order to end funding to PBS and NPR

Trump slashes federal funding for PBS and NPR

CV NEWS FEED // President Donald Trump signed an executive order late Thursday to end federal funding for National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), criticizing both outlets for years of taxpayer-funded left-wing activism and “woke propaganda.”

The order instructs the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) to “cease federal funding for NPR and PBS,” citing a drastically changed media environment and lack of impartiality.

“Unlike in 1967, when the CPB was established, today the media landscape is filled with abundant, diverse, and innovative news options,” the order states. “Government funding of news media in this environment is not only outdated and unnecessary but corrosive to the appearance of journalistic independence.”

“Which viewpoints NPR and PBS promote does not matter,” the order states. “What does matter is that neither entity presents a fair, accurate, or unbiased portrayal of current events to taxpaying citizens.”

Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections

Sweeping Trump Order Overhauls US Elections, Including Citizenship Requirement

President Donald Trump on Tuesday signed a sweeping executive order to overhaul elections in the U.S., including requiring documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and demanding that all ballots be received by Election Day.

The order, titled "Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections," stated the U.S. has failed "to enforce basic and necessary election protections" and called on states to work with federal agencies to share voter lists and prosecute election crimes.

The order stated federal law prohibits foreign nationals from registering to vote or voting in federal elections, but added "states fail adequately to vet voters’ citizenship, and, in recent years, the Department of Justice has failed to prioritize and devote sufficient resources for enforcement of these provisions."

It also said the Biden administration "actively prevented states from removing aliens from their voter lists."
