'Great Satan': Congressman takes talking point from Iran with anti-American insult

Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., a member of Congress who exhibited his brilliance a few years back by fretting in public that Guam might "tip over" and "capsize," now is drawing on the talking points of the rogue Islamic regime in Iran for his comments.

He's calling America the "great Satan," as adherents to Tehran's violent and anti-American agenda have for years.

His most recent wild statements prompted the Gateway Pundit to note: "He really is a special kind of stupid, isn't he?"

And, "'Who votes for representation like this? This man isn't qualified to run a lemonade stand."

Here he is parroting the Islamic talking point:
His most recent stunner came during his appearance on the Dean Obeidallah podcast, when he expressed his concern that America is, in fact, the "great Satan" of Iranian talking points.

That is a line the Islamists have been known to use over recent years.

His response came to a question from Obeidallah about President Donald Trump and his strikes on apparent drug runners trying to deliver death to Americans.

South Korea Makes Deal With US to Release Detained Georgia Plant Workers

U.S. federal authorities detained about 300 South Koreans in an immigration enforcement operation on Sept. 4.

On Sept. 5, U.S. immigration authorities said they had arrested 475 people at the worksite, most of whom were South Korean nationals.

Hundreds of federal agents had conducted an operation at the Korean automaker Hyundai’s large Georgia-based manufacturing plant, where it builds electric vehicles. More than 300 South Koreans were part of the group detained, according to Cho Hyun, South Korea’s foreign minister.

Pam Bondi instructs DOJ to abandon Biden-era Georgia election lawsuit

The Department of Justice has taken a decisive step by retracting prior government claims in a key lawsuit initially filed during the Biden administration, contentions that accused Georgia of using racial discrimination tactics to suppress Black voters.

The lawsuit, led by previous Attorney General Merrick B. Garland, centered on Georgia's Senate Bill 202, alleging that it unfairly targeted Black communities, but the current DOJ, led by AG Pam Bondi, has decided to walk away from the litigation, as the Daily Caller reports.

The controversial lawsuit, launched in 2021, prompted extensive discourse on voter suppression and election integrity. Under Bondi's directive, the DOJ has officially withdrawn its contentions against Georgia, claiming the previous narrative underlying the lawsuit was misleading. The lawsuit focused on alleged violations stemming from Georgia Senate Bill 202, which proposed changes intended to bolster election security.

Georgia Senate Bill 202 introduced several election reforms, including requirements for photo ID, expedited results reporting, and modifications to the absentee ballot processes. These changes were met with severe criticism, with opponents likening them to racially discriminatory practices of the past. However, according to the DOJ's current position, these accusations of voter suppression were unfounded.

Democrat Congressman taking his Hate to a whole new level

Hank Johnson, a Democratic congressman from Georgia’s 4th District

recently made a comment that was, stupidity-wise, on par with his 2010 statement about the island of Guam potentially capsizing if too many Marines were placed on one side.

During a virtual event hosted by the progressive group Our Future First on March 4, Johnson told Reps. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), Robin Kelly (D-Ill.), and others that President Trump’s education policies, specifically his plans to "defund" public schools and funnel money to private, "for-profit setups," would harm the black community.

Thi is a ridiculous idea from the get-go when you consider how fundamentally flawed our current education system is.

However, Johnson then took his grievances to a very weird place.

“It’s a recipe to make education unavailable to black people. And where does that then leave us? It puts us back to when America was great, and we were picking cotton and all of it.

They're putting my Latino brothers and sisters who migrate here to do that work because we are not suited intellectually to do it any more, but they would have us back confined to doing that kind of work,” Johnson said.

Federal Judge flips 8 districts in Georgia to predominately Black

In a truly surprising turn of events, a federal judge in Georgia ordered the creation of several new congressional districts that are majority black.

Judge Steve Jones, who was appointed to the bench by Barack Obama, ordered the state legislature to throw out the current election maps and instead redraw the maps so that a total of eight electoral districts (which are currently majority white) can be flipped to instead be majority black.

And, of course, since this is the year 2023, it’s all being done under the banner of “anti-racism.” Fani Willis will be happy.

Remember the Nick Sandmann case? Lin Wood was his attorney and got a settlement of $275 million from CNN

But things have deteriorated since then, big time!

“The conduct of Mr. Wood, albeit not in my jurisdiction, exhibited a toxic stew of mendacity, prevarication, and surprising incompetence,” Judge Craig Karsnitz wrote. He called an election lawsuit that Wood filed in Georgia “textbook frivolous litigation” and said a complaint that Wood filed in Michigan “would not survive a law school civil procedure class.”

Wood, who retired from practicing law earlier this year to avoid disbarment, (because of the Rittenhouse case) worked as a member of Trump’s legal team in the aftermath of the 2020 election and heavily promoted claims that the election had been rigged against the former president.

Now he's going to be a witness for the prosecution in Fulton County, GA for Fani Willis.

Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows is asking a federal court for more time before surrendering to Georgia authorities.

Meadows hopes to prevent Fulton County DA Fani Willis from ordering his arrest if he doesn't voluntarily surrender before her Friday deadline.

Willis was unmoved by requests from Meadows' attorney to extend the Friday deadline. “Your client is no different than any other criminal defendant in this jurisdiction,” she said at one point.
