Grassley says Jack Smith’s probe seized reporter texts and thousands of donors’ bank records

Sen. Chuck Grassley, Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, says Jack Smith's Arctic Frost probe seized journalist texts and donor bank records from thousands of Americans, moves he claims undermined the rule of law.

The New York Post reported that Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) charged Tuesday that former special counsel Jack Smith and his investigators obtained communications from reporters at more than a dozen media outlets and financial information from thousands of Americans.

Grassley said the haul came through Smith’s “Arctic Frost” probe, the same investigation that produced a four-count indictment of President Trump for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election.

Whistleblower disclosures reaching the Senate Judiciary Committee chairman’s office underpinned the claims. Grassley made additional whistleblower material public during the Tuesday hearing in Washington.

DOJ asks Supreme Court to let federal prisons enforce ban on hormone treatments for transgender inmates

The Justice Department asked the Supreme Court to let federal prisons enforce a ban on hormone treatments for transgender inmates, a policy lower courts have blocked.

On Monday, the Justice Department urged the U.S. Supreme Court to block a lower-court ruling so the Bureau of Prisons can immediately enforce its updated policy on gender dysphoria. Fox News reported the filing seeks to restore limits on taxpayer-funded hormone treatments and social accommodations inside federal lockups.

U.S. Solicitor General D. John Sauer told the high court the Bureau of Prisons acted within reasoned bounds when it chose mental-health care over contested medical interventions.

"BOP’s decision to prioritize mental-health treatment, while discontinuing medically disputed and unproven sex-rejecting interventions, falls well within the bounds of reasoned decision-making"

The fight reaches the justices after a district judge ordered the prisons to keep providing the contested care, and an appeals court refused to revive the ban while the case continued. The administration wants the policy back in force now, not after months of further litigation.

Supreme Court Allows Trump to Resume Third-Country Deportations

The Supreme Court on Tuesday ruled that the administration’s policy can stay in effect. Three justices dissented.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed the Trump administration to resume deporting illegal immigrants to countries to which they have no connection, granting a request to put on hold a lower court order.

The high court, while issuing the pause, said that it will hear arguments on the case in December to come to a final conclusion next year.

Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ketanji Brown Jackson said they would have denied the Trump administration’s application to stay the lower court order, issued by a judge on the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts in February. [The EpochTimes]

Islamist Center in west Delray?

The connection to Boca is worth watching. The Islamic Center of Boca Raton operates Garden of the Sahaba Academy, an Islamic school whose curriculum includes Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies.

The county records reviewed so far don’t establish that Garden of the Sahaba will become the West Delray school, but the Islamic Center of Boca Raton and Islamic Center of West Delray Beach appearing together on the place-of-worship application makes the relationship between the organizations a fair question.

There’s another reference buried in the county paperwork. During review of the school project, Palm Beach County Water Utilities described the contemplated future use as an elementary and secondary school “with gymnasium and place of worship.” Very few people appear to have been paying attention when this went through the approval process.

In 2023 the Zoning Commission recommended approval 7–0. County staff reported receiving no contacts from the public about the application when its report was prepared. The Board of County Commissioners approved the school and daycare conditional uses that September.

How Trump befriended and owned Xi

President Trump’s state dinner for Red China’s dictator was a masterpiece of peace through strength. He’s the strength.

Ahead of the fete, Laura Loomer panned the very idea of the visit, tweeting, “China stole the election from President Trump. So can someone please explain to me why China hasn’t been held accountable for this, and why their Communist dictator is being treated like a king on US soil today? “As always, there is ZERO accountability. Always a win for our enemies.”

I cannot disagree with her about the election and covid, which she also mentioned, but accountability is the language of Democrats and RINOs—the very people who enabled the steal of our election and the shuttering of our economy.

But Trump does not have time for vengeance. He has a war with Red China to win and lo and behold, he has. He has shown Red China’s military equipment works about as well as communism does.

Trump by force and by diplomacy has Red China by the chokepoints: Panama Canal, Strait of Malacca (Indonesian agreement), Strait of Gibraltar (Moroccan agreement) and of courser Greenland. The Danish politicians Xi bought are now as worthless to him as they are to everyone else.

The state dinner allowed Chairman Xi to save face. The communist press in his country churned out propaganda galore while the communist press in our country sucked its thumb and gazed at its navel muttering, but the judge said CNN can go wherever it wants in the White House. The press in our country said their job was so important to the country that the TV channels refused to air the speeches by Xi and Trump.

What Trump bonded with Xi and politely showed him the American Eagle still rules the skies because the Chinese dragon went extinct thousands of years ago. To mix metaphors and paraphrase Mao, Red China is a paper tiger.

United Kingdom police have released five terror suspects on bail Monday after they were arrested on suspicion of a terror plot targeting a U.S. air base in Britain this weekend.

Laurence ​Taylor, head of ​Counter Terrorism Policing, confirmed that investigations into the five men are ongoing, "including ⁠that this may be actively committed ​by proxies ​or ⁠individuals either knowingly or unknowingly working on ⁠behalf ​of a ​foreign state." Meanwhile, the Iranian Embassy in the U.K. has denied any connection to the five men.

The Sunday night arrests came after a local resident and farmer in Gloucestershire told the BBC that she had called police late in the evening after coming across three white vans blocking a road near RAF Fairford air base. As she turned her car around, she told the BBC that her headlights illuminated a group of "hooded and masked men" who "panicked" upon being spotted and scrambled into a nearby woods. [Defense News]

Vitamin D Deficiency Linked to Higher Risk of Early-Onset Dementia

The study identifies 15 factors tied to increased risk of early-onset dementia.

Forgetfulness and confusion, once considered normal signs of aging, are affecting more adults at the peak of their careers. Rates of early-onset dementia and Alzheimer’s disease among Americans younger than 65 have inexplicably doubled between 2013 and 2017, according to data from Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), a health insurance provider.

The study identifies vitamin D deficiency as one of the 15 adjustable lifestyle factors that appear to drive up a person’s early dementia risk. While the findings also highlight alcohol abuse and isolation, the surprising link between low vitamin D levels and early cognitive decline suggests a simple daily supplement may help the fight against this baffling rise.

Approximately 35 percent of adults in the United States are vitamin D deficient. The average age of someone between 30 and 64 years old living with either young-onset dementia or Alzheimer’s is 49, with women being disproportionately affected compared to men, according to the BCBS data.

The large-scale study, published in JAMA Neurology, identified 15 lifestyle and health risk factors associated with early-onset dementia. The study analyzed information from more than 356,000 people younger than 65 whose data were in the UK Biobank, a large-scale biomedical database and research initiative in the UK, between 2006 and 2010.

One relevant study, published in the Alzheimer’s Association’s journal Alzheimer’s & Dementia: Diagnosis, Assessment & Disease Monitoring, compared dementia onset between people who took vitamin D supplements and those who did not. The study included 12,388 Americans without a dementia diagnosis at baseline, with an average age of 71.

The study found that among those who developed dementia within 10 years, about 75 percent were non-supplement takers compared to only 25 percent who took vitamin D supplements. Supplementation provided greater protection for women, though it reduced dementia risk in both sexes.

The Trump administration formally rescinded the Biden-era rewrite of Title IX on Monday, removing regulations that had expanded sex-discrimination protections to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

The Education Department is restoring the 2020 Title IX framework from President Trump’s first term, completing a rollback that had already largely taken effect after a federal court struck down the Biden rule.

The department is instead restoring the regulatory language adopted during President Trump’s first administration. The final rule is scheduled for formal publication Tuesday.

McMahon Announces Formal Rollback--Education Secretary Linda McMahon said the action brings the federal regulations in line with the rules her department has already been enforcing.

“Today’s rulemaking clears the Biden Administration’s illegal rewrite of Title IX from the Code of Federal Regulations and restores the commonsense language promulgated in the first Trump Administration,” McMahon said.

Hormuz standoff hardens after Trump rejects Iran’s reopening terms

President Trump rejected Iran’s bid to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and hours later Iranian media reported explosions near Qeshm Island as Tehran pressed hardline conditions.

Explosions were heard in the Strait of Hormuz hours after President Donald Trump turned down a diplomatic offer from Tehran, Al Jazeera reported. Iranian media pointed to blasts near southern Iran’s Qeshm Island and suggested antiship missiles and drones had been fired at vessels moving through the waterway against Tehran’s wishes.

Iranian authorities did not confirm any attacks that day. The episode still left a vital oil route under fresh pressure, with no deal in sight and both sides digging in.

The standoff is not a paper dispute. Since the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran began on February 28, shipping through the Gulf has been severely disrupted. Tehran wants the strait run on its terms. Washington is enforcing a naval blockade on Iranian ports and moving crude by other routes.

Iran floated a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within a week if seven conditions were met. Those conditions included lifting the U.S. blockade on Iran, releasing frozen Iranian funds, and ending attacks on all fronts, including Israel’s assault on Lebanon. Tehran also wanted a return, for the most part, to a June memorandum of understanding between the United States and Israel.

China: Holds the largest share, estimated between $20 billion and $50 billion from long-standing oil purchases. We hold roughly $2 billion in directly frozen bank deposits, plus an additional $50 million in real estate and property tied up since the 1979 revolution.

Fox News reported that Trump said last month alone brought 25,000 deaths in the Ukraine-Russia war, with 32,000 the month before that and 33,000 two months ago. He framed the toll as a reason to end the fighting, not prolong it.

Finnish and Swedish fighter jets scrambled together for the first time to intercept Russian warplanes over the Gulf of Finland, as Putin dismissed European security warnings as political clowning.

It wasn't clowning when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

On Sept. 24, Finnish F/A-18 Hornets and Swedish JAS 39 Gripens launched after detecting a Russian military formation in international airspace over the Gulf of Finland, Fox News reported.

The Russian group included a Tu-134 transport plane, MiG-31 interceptors, and Su-30 multirole fighters. It was the first joint scramble of its kind by the two Nordic air forces since both joined NATO.

The intercept landed amid a string of airspace incidents along the alliance’s eastern flank and fresh Russian denials that Moscow has any plan to strike Europe.

Finland joined NATO in April 2023 as the alliance’s 31st member, roughly doubling NATO’s land border with Russia. Sweden followed in March 2024 as the 32nd. Both countries spent years outside the alliance. Now their fighters are flying the same mission on short notice.

On Sept. 18, less than a week before the Finnish-Swedish scramble, armed Russian jets entered Estonian airspace and were intercepted by NATO aircraft. That incident sits in the same stretch of tense weeks as the Gulf of Finland flight.

Fetterman reaffirms Democratic label while dodging the 51st-vote question

Sen. John Fetterman insisted he remains a Democrat at a Texas festival while refusing to say how he would cast a potential tie-breaking vote if his party reaches 51 seats.

Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman closed the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin on Saturday by defending his place inside the Democratic Party after repeated breaks with colleagues on foreign policy and open outreach to Republicans.

The Hill reported that CBS News moderator Major Garrett pressed him on party loyalty and on whether he would deliver the decisive vote if Democrats win a 51-seat Senate majority this November. Fetterman would not commit.

“Let’s revisit after the midterms, and let’s see what happens, you know, if I happen to be 51. I don’t know,” Fetterman said.

That answer leaves both parties guessing about the one senator who has spent the year voting with Republicans on core national-security questions while still claiming the Democratic brand.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed the agreement in a statement on Saturday, following the release of a fact sheet from the White House the day before.

The announcements came after talks between President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping produced common positions on Iran’s nuclear program and international waterway tolls, along with plans for a dialogue on risks and benefits related to artificial intelligence.

Xi departed on Sept. 25 after a visit that included a military welcome, bilateral talks, and a state dinner. Before leaving, Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, joined Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for tea and a visit to the National Archives. “A lot of very positive things happened,” Trump told reporters during the tea meeting.

The two leaders “discussed fostering peace and prosperity to enhance confidence for businesses and consumers around the world,” the White House said, adding that the United States and China would pursue “a constructive relationship of strategic stability.”

Both leaders agreed that Iran must not have nuclear weapons and that no country or institution should impose tolls on international waterways, according to the readouts from both countries.

Sanders and Rep. Greg Casar (D-TX) introduced legislation this week to ban artificial superintelligence and pause advanced AI development until a regulatory body is established. Superintelligent AI is defined as software considered to be “smarter-than-human.”

The legislation would also establish a new Cabinet-level “Department of Artificial Intelligence” and impose criminal penalties on any person or entity that violates the pauses and guardrails outlined in the bill. Entities could face a “corporate death penalty,” while individuals could face up to 20 years in prison.

Progressive political positions on how to handle the industry contrasts with Republican leadership’s support for the development of AI and pushback on using a heavy hand against the industry.

President Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) will meet with executives of top AI companies at the White House on Tuesday, the Washington Examiner confirmed.

The speaker has warned that placing too many regulations on AI risks hampering the U.S.’s national security and giving China an opening to take the lead in the AI development race.

Darializa Avila Chevalier, the Democratic Socialists of America-backed nominee for a New York congressional seat, was arrested Thursday outside the United Nations after blocking a Manhattan roadway during a protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, one of more than 100 demonstrators taken into custody by the NYPD.

The demonstration, timed to coincide with Netanyahu's address to the UN General Assembly, drew roughly 250 people. By the time officers finished clearing the avenue, 104 had been arrested, according to the New York Post.

Avila Chevalier, 32, is the Democratic nominee for New York's 13th Congressional District, which covers Upper Manhattan and parts of the Bronx. She won the seat's June primary by unseating five-term incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat.

Avila Chevalier was far from the only prominent figure hauled away. Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon, Emmy winner Hannah Einbinder, and whistleblower Chelsea Manning were all among those arrested, the Post reported. New York City Council members Chi Ossé, Alexa Avilés, and Jennifer Gutiérrez were also taken into custody.

Reuters finds 30,000 noncitizens on voter rolls since 2000 as Lee demands Senate act on SAVE America Act

A Reuters investigation found more than 30,000 self-declared noncitizens landed on U.S. voter rolls over a quarter-century, and Sen. Mike Lee says the Senate's refusal to pass his proof-of-citizenship bill is the reason it keeps happening.

Lee, a Utah Republican, took the Senate floor Wednesday to confront members of both parties who have stalled the SAVE America Act, the voter-integrity bill he introduced earlier this year. His catalyst: a Reuters report published the same day documenting erroneous noncitizen registrations across eleven states, from California and Illinois to Texas and Pennsylvania.

The report identified the problem in both red and blue states, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, and Virginia round out the list, and attributed the registrations to "software glitches and clerical errors" rather than any organized scheme to register illegal immigrants.

Reuters also acknowledged that its numbers are not precise because "state data is often tentative and subject to revision," and the wire service said it could not determine how many of those noncitizens actually cast ballots.

None of that softened Lee's argument. He told colleagues the data proved a point he and other conservatives have pressed for years.

The SAVE America Act, which Lee introduced earlier this year, would require registrants to verify their citizenship and eligibility at the time of registration. It would also mandate voter ID and photo identification at the polls.

The bill cleared the House but has stalled in the Senate, where resistance has come from Democrats and, Lee indicated, some Republicans as well. President Donald Trump supports the legislation.

Lake Worth Beach Pier closed through Sunday

The Lake Worth Beach Pier will be temporarily closed beginning Friday due to hazardous wave conditions

The closure is expected to remain in effect throughout the weekend, with plans to reopen the pier Monday, weather and ocean conditions permitting.

Officials emphasized that while the pier will be closed, the beach itself will remain open to visitors. Restaurants, shops and other businesses located at the beach will continue normal operations during the temporary closure.

The review of registration errors across a dozen states comes as Republicans press Congress to require proof of citizenship to register for federal elections.

U.S. states may have added more than 30,000 people who identified themselves as noncitizens to voter registration rolls since 2000, according to a Reuters review of official records published Sept. 23.

The figure covers software glitches and clerical errors at driver’s license and state identification (ID) agencies in a dozen states governed by both Democrats and Republicans. Reuters said it drew on data from the Center for Election Innovation & Research, then verified figures with state officials, court records, and local reports.

New Jersey reported one of the largest errors, according to Reuters. Gov. Mikie Sherrill, a Democrat, said in July that a software problem registered roughly 6,600 people between June 2023 and June 2024 even though they answered “no” when asked whether they were U.S. citizens during license or ID applications. Sherrill said a preliminary review showed fewer than 400 of those individuals went on to vote...(yeah, right, like we believe that!! N.J is so corrupt.)

The data also showed errors in California, Illinois, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South ⁠Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, according to Reuters.

The findings come as Republicans have for months pressed for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility, or SAVE America, Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship to register for federal elections and photo identification to vote.

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, sought to advance legislation containing parts of the SAVE America Act on the Senate Sept. 23, but Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., objected, blocking Lee’s attempt to advance that bill quickly by unanimous consent.

As of Thursday afternoon, the Attorney General’s office released the names of 12 people arrested. One of those individuals is Mei-Lin Johnston, 57, of Okeechobee. Rubio takes on Dual Role with the Government

Trump makes Rubio's national security adviser role permanent, formalizing historic dual appointment

President Trump signed a commission permanently installing Marco Rubio as national security adviser while Rubio keeps his post as Secretary of State, making him only the second person in American history to hold both jobs at once.

A White House official confirmed the signing, which The Hill reported on Monday. Rubio had been serving in the national security adviser role on an acting basis since May 2025, when Trump tapped him to replace Mike Waltz.

President Donald Trump replaced Mike Waltz as National Security Adviser in May 2025 following a high-profile messaging scandal, political pressure from conservative activists, and internal West Wing friction, as reported by outlets like the BBC. Trump subsequently nominated Waltz to serve as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and appointed Secretary of State Marco Rubio as the interim national security adviser.

The formal commission ends more than sixteen months of interim status and cements a consolidation of foreign-policy authority that has no modern precedent outside the Nixon era.

The last person to serve simultaneously as Secretary of State and national security adviser was Henry Kissinger, who held both titles from 1973 to 1975 under President Nixon. Rubio now joins that short list of one.

Scott Jennings, CNN’s lone conservative voice, turned an on-air discussion of President Trump’s new Greenland Deal into a victory lap. The other panelists were left to listen as Jennings revisited months of criticism aimed at Trump’s Greenland vision.

For months, critics on the left had claimed that Trump was undermining American foreign policy and putting the relationship with Denmark at risk. They also argued that his approach was weakening Europe and NATO. Jennings used the segment to remind the panel of those warnings—and to compare them with what he said actually happened.

Jennings pointed to remarks from Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. The source account described those remarks as strongly pro-American and pro-Trump. According to the transcript published via Overton News, Frederiksen heaped praise on both Trump and the United States.

That collided with earlier predictions that an agreement involving the United States and Greenland would never happen. Jennings placed those predictions beside the outcome he was describing: a deal that got done despite the uproar, followed by a speech he said could not have been more supportive of Trump and American interests.

California lost 100,397 tax filers and $11.9 billion in adjusted gross income. New York lost 71,987 filers. Florida gained 55,359 filers and $20.6 billion in income which is more than any other state in the union. The current is unmistakable. ServiceNow and D-Wave just followed it to the Palm Beaches.

In the past year, two of California's most important technology companies both shifted their futures to the same Florida county. One a Fortune 500 AI leader, the other the world's only dual-platform quantum computing pioneer. They are not outliers. They are the clearest signal yet of a structural reordering of the American technology economy.

ServiceNow, the Santa Clara-based Fortune 500 AI platform with nearly $11 billion in revenue and more than 27,000 employees worldwide, committed to a 200,000-square-foot regional innovation hub at 10 CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach.

The expansion will generate over 850 jobs in five years at an average salary of $170,000, with projected regional economic impact above $1.8 billion. CEO Bill McDermott didn't hedge: "The AI innovation economy has a new epicenter in West Palm Beach, Florida." Inside the hub, ServiceNow is also building an AI Institute and a startup accelerator — engineered to seed the next generation of enterprise technology companies in the region.

Seattle mayor spends $1.7 million on grocery store security instead of enforcing the law

It's easier to ignore the problem than to fix it

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson is funneling $1.7 million in taxpayer money to hire security guards and patch up grocery stores battered by retail theft, a plan critics say treats the symptom while ignoring the disease of rampant crime.

Wilson announced the city-funded grocery-support initiative earlier this week as part of Seattle's 2026 budget. The plan targets 10 independent grocery stores, offering one-time funding for security upgrades and repairs along with a full year of business support. The city will also partner with the Independent Grocers Alliance to study eight neighborhoods as potential sites for new grocery stores.

The mayor framed the spending as a lifeline for neighborhoods losing access to affordable food. In a social media post, Wilson said that "keeping our neighborhood grocery stores safe and supported is essential to making sure every Seattleite has a reliable, affordable grocery store near them."

But the announcement landed in a city where larceny-theft is the most commonly reported crime in every police precinct, and where the police force has been gutted over the past five years. Wilson announced that she had hired 66 new police officers.

Critics say the city is paying to manage crime it refuses to stop.

Late-night ruling has turned the White House press dispute into an argument over whether presidents must obey judges. Don Surber reports that Judge Timothy Kelly temporarily ordered restoration of CNN, MS NOW and Politico’s credentials, finding likely due-process violations.

Surber's proposed response: ignore him. But the hour of a ruling does not determine its authority, and temporary relief is not a final merits judgment. The Supreme Court’s general rule requires compliance with orders issued by courts possessing jurisdiction until those orders are reversed through proper proceedings.

House Judiciary report accuses Biden-era DOJ of spying on GOP lawmakers during Jack Smith's Trump investigations

The House Judiciary Committee released an interim report Wednesday alleging the Biden-Harris Justice Department secretly obtained phone records and text messages from dozens of Republican members of Congress during Special Counsel Jack Smith's twin probes of Donald Trump, a move the committee says violated core constitutional protections.

The report, the product of a multi-year congressional investigation into Smith's tenure, concludes that the FBI and Smith's team used grand jury subpoenas to sweep up toll records from at least 17 GOP lawmakers and text messages from as many as 44, all without notifying the affected members or giving them a chance to challenge the collection in court.

Among those whose records were gathered: former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan himself.

The committee's central charge is that Smith's operation trampled the Speech or Debate Clause, the provision in Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution that shields members of Congress from executive-branch interference in their official duties.

That clause exists for a reason older than the republic itself, to prevent a president or his prosecutors from using law-enforcement power to rifle through a legislator's work product and private communications.

Why CNN, MS NOW, and Politico Deserved to be Banned From the White House

CNN spent years telling America that Donald Trump was a threat to democracy. Trump just threw CNN, MS NOW, and Politico out of the White House for lying to his face.

Trump didn't mince words in his Truth Social announcement Friday. "I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico," Trump wrote, adding more bans were coming.

He also called out Politico specifically – the outlet that received an $8 million government subscription deal under Joe Biden. Eight million of your taxpayer dollars kept Politico on life support during the Biden years. Now they're suing the man who cut off their government welfare check.

Reporters from CNN and MS NOW went live Saturday to report their press badges had been deactivated when they arrived for work. Politico's White House reporter had her badge physically confiscated. The three outlets filed a joint statement calling the ban "viewpoint discrimination" that violates the First Amendment.

Here's what they left out of that statement: the Supreme Court already settled this question sixty years ago...a 1965 Supreme Court ruling that draws a hard line between the right to publish and the right to walk into any government building you want. Those are two different rights – and the First Amendment only protects one of them.

A federal appeals court sided with the White House – ruling the president has broader discretion over which journalists enter restricted spaces like the Oval Office and Air Force One.

That case is still technically pending, but the appellate ruling is already on the books. CNN, MS NOW, and Politico are walking into court to fight a legal battle where Trump's lawyers will hand the judge a ruling that already went his way.

Lake Worth Beach man takes Plea Deal in Shooting Death

Delray Beach: Beach murder suspect accepts plea deal, doesn’t admit guilt

Facing a possible life sentence, Mark David Anderson on Wednesday accepted a plea deal that will allow him to be freed in two years in connection with the 2023 shooting death of a popular Delray Beach computer tech at a beachside condominium.

Anderson didn’t admit guilt in connection with the gunshot slaying of 58-year-old Albert Camentz during an alcohol and drug-fueled get-together at Berkshire by the Sea, 126 N. Ocean Boulevard in Delray Beach, about a block north of Atlantic Avenue.Instead, the 48-year-old Lake Worth Beach man took what is called a “best interest” plea.

That means he didn’t admit guilt but agreed to be punished, acknowledging that he could have been found guilty of second-degree murder at a trial that was to begin Monday.

The plea deal ends the bizarre case that was compromised when one of the two witnesses — Jack Feinberg — fatally shot himself last summer.

Creeps arrested on Human Trafficking

Man arrested on human trafficking charges of disabled person; police seek more victims

The Boca Raton Police Department is asking potential victims to come forward following the arrest of a man in connection with an ongoing human trafficking investigation. Maximiliano Buitrago, 51, was arrested along with Charlie Pardieck, 51, on Sept. 16, 2026, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Boynton Beach Police Department. 

The investigation began when Boynton Beach Police shared information with Boca Raton authorities about the possible trafficking of an intellectually disabled adult victim in Boca Raton in July 2025.

According to police, Pardieck, who is related to the female victim, was paid to transport the victim to a studio on North Federal Highway in Boca Raton. There, Buitrago allegedly photographed the victim’s feet, legs and hands, telling Pardieck the images would be sold to third parties for sexual gratification.

This is not Buitrago’s first arrest on human trafficking charges. Boynton Beach Police arrested him in July 2026 on charges involving a minor when investigators said Buitrago posted advertisements near a middle school offering payment for photos of feet and modeling sessions.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Anyone with information about this ongoing investigation is encouraged to contact Detective Davis at (561) 620-6167.

U.S. now has permanent control over Greenland Security

U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a deal with the leaders of Greenland and Denmark

This will allow a larger U.S. military presence in the key Arctic territory

Trump participated in a signing ceremony on the morning of Sept. 22 alongside Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen at the U.N. General Assembly in New York City.

“This HISTORIC deal is critical for American national security and defense in the Arctic Region,” the White House wrote in a statement on X.

During his address to the U.N. General Assembly on Sept. 22, Trump announced that the United States will build two major military bases in Greenland.

“No U.S. adversary will ever be permitted to establish a military presence in Greenland anymore, or make sensitive investments there without our express written approval,” Trump said. “We will immediately begin the process of developing a large military presence in the appropriate locations.”

Democrat Mayor removed from office after 10 months for Malfeasance and Sexting

Stockbridge's youngest mayor removed after sexting and spending scandals

— then blamed the city for not training him

By Jayden Williams, the 23-year-old who made history as Georgia's youngest elected Black mayor, lasted less than a year in office before the Stockbridge City Council impeached him over misused city funds and sexually explicit messages with a teenage mentorship student.

Williams broke his public silence after the removal, telling WSB-TV he never expected to lose his job. He admitted the relationship with the 18-year-old male high school student was "somewhat" inappropriate but insisted he had not violated his oath of office.

He blamed city officials for failing to walk him through basic financial procedures, even as records showed thousands of dollars in personal purchases charged to a city account.

The Stockbridge City Council voted earlier this month to remove Williams on grounds of malfeasance, misfeasance, and violation of his oath of office, according to Breitbart. The city issued a terse confirmation:

"The City of Stockbridge confirms that the City Council has taken formal action concerning the Office of Mayor. The Mayor has been removed from office." Williams had taken office in January and served roughly ten months.

Communists behind anti-ICE protests in Austin

Socialist and communist groups coordinated 'spontaneous' anti-ICE protests in Austin, investigation finds

Within hours of an ICE officer shooting a Venezuelan national in Austin, Texas, a network of socialist and communist organizations launched a synchronized social-media campaign and mobilized protesters to the scene, all while local media described the demonstrations as spontaneous.

The shooting happened around 12:56 p.m. Central Time on Sunday, September 20, when an ICE officer fired on 28-year-old Wilber Rafael Garcés Pérez during a traffic stop near Anderson Square and Research Boulevard. Pérez was hospitalized in serious but stable condition and later placed in federal custody.

By 4:19 p.m., roughly three and a half hours later, the Party for Socialism and Liberation's national X account had posted "BREAKING. MAN SHOT BY ICE AGENTS IN AUSTIN" and "ICE OUT OF AUSTIN NOW!" The Austin PSL chapter simultaneously pushed a matching graphic on Instagram, coordinating with PSL chapters in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Waco.

A Fox News Digital investigation traced the rapid mobilization across at least three distinct far-left organizations, the PSL, the Democratic Socialists of America's Austin chapter, and the Freedom Road Socialist Organization.

It was found that their social-media posts went live within minutes of each other, carried coordinated messaging, and funneled thousands of supporters toward the protest site before most local outlets had finished reporting the basic facts of the shooting.

Networks banding together to punish Trump

All five White House television pool members, including Fox News, agreed to halt pooled coverage of President Trump

This occurred after the administration banned CNN, MSNBC, and Politico, a move the outlets are now challenging in federal court

The suspension landed Monday, the same day CNN was scheduled to serve as the rotating pool representative inside the White House. Instead of providing the shared camera feed that every network relies on for presidential events, the pool went dark.

Fox News Media, ABC News, CBS News, CNN, and NBC News issued a joint statement announcing the stand-down, framing it as a defense of independent reporting rather than a favor to any single competitor.

The trigger was straightforward: the Trump administration revoked press credentials for journalists at CNN, MSNBC, and Politico, accusing the three outlets of publishing what the president called "fake news."

The three banned organizations responded by filing a lawsuit the same morning, invoking the First Amendment. The collision between the White House and the press corps now sits in two arenas, the courts and the briefing room, with no clear resolution in sight.

This is the first time I can remember Fox News siding against Trump, effectifvely removing him from his biggest market on cable news.

Cory Booker calls the Supreme Court 'compromised,' pushes 18-year term limits

Sen. Cory Booker wants to impose term limits on Supreme Court justices and strip the Court of what he calls its independence, framing the proposal as ethics reform while Democrats openly debate how to reshape a bench they no longer control.

The New Jersey Democrat appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday and laid out a plan he said he developed with unnamed Senate colleagues: 18-year terms for justices, two guaranteed appointments per president, and new ethics rules targeting what Booker described as justices accepting "unlimited gifts from billionaires."

He offered no bill name, no co-sponsor list, and no specific ethics violation to justify the overhaul, just the assertion that the highest court in the country is broken and needs fixing on his terms.

Host Kristen Welker set the table by noting that former Vice President Kamala Harris has pushed Democrats to add four justices outright. Welker told Booker the Court has become "a big debate in your party." Booker positioned himself as the reasonable alternative, the senator who wants "pragmatic solutions" rather than raw court-packing.

Minnesota Lt. Gov. Flanagan's hijab video ally now faces state fraud investigation

The woman who stood beside Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan in a viral hijab video now runs an autism center under active state investigation for fraud, and both have stayed silent about it.

Nimco Ahmed, a longtime Democratic, Farmer, Labor Party activist and CEO of Milestone Development Center, appeared alongside Flanagan during a December visit to the Karmel Somali market in Minnesota. Flanagan donned a hijab for the occasion, and the video, posted by Somali TV Minnesota, spread quickly online. But what the video did not show was what state regulators were already finding behind the scenes at Ahmed's autism services operation.

The Minnesota Department of Human Services confirmed it has open investigations into both Milestone Development Center and Spectrum Therapy Center. The state terminated both agencies from the Medicaid program under a compliance review called Minnesota Revalidate 2026, a process that checks whether providers hold required credentials and follow state and federal rules. Both providers have appealed their terminations.

A 25-year friendship and a fraud inquiry--Ahmed and Flanagan have been friends for nearly 25 years, Fox News Digital reported, citing Alpha News. Ahmed is listed online as CEO of Milestone Development Center. Flanagan, who has served as lieutenant governor since 2019, is now running for the U.S. Senate as a Democrat.
