The shopkeeper still has rent to pay, employees still need wages, and a neighborhood loses something that took years to build. Officials who excuse destruction, shift its costs onto people with far less power than the activists commanding their attention.

That is a rotten bargain for everyone expected to keep working, paying taxes, and accepting assurances that everything remains under control. Voters have every right to reject leaders who treat public order as an embarrassment to their political coalition. A burned storefront doesn’t become less destroyed because the people defending the protest have found a flattering adjective.

The Michigan congresswoman’s surprise endorsement of Republican Mike Rogers has triggered staff resignations, furious Democratic criticism, and an invitation from President Trump to switch parties.

President Donald Trump invited Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens of Michigan to join the Republican Party on Sunday after she endorsed Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers over her party’s nominee, Abdul El-Sayed, prompting fierce criticism from Democratic leaders and the resignations of several congressional staff members.

The unexpected endorsement came just two days before Tuesday’s midterm elections and followed a bitter dispute between Stevens and El-Sayed, who narrowly defeated her in Michigan’s Democratic Senate primary in August. [Patrick Houck]

Ilhan Omar’s 2009 marriage application is drawing fresh attention because of a series of crossed-out entries. The application, obtained by the New York Post from Hennepin County, Minnesota, appears to show Omar first writing “Omar” as her last name in the section labeled “COMPLETE NAMES OF PARTIES AFTER MARRIAGE.” She then crossed it out, wrote “Elmi,” crossed that out as well, and returned to “Omar.”

The form does not settle the broader identity dispute by itself, but the repeated changes are now part of the public controversy surrounding Omar’s marriage and immigration history.

A recent Justice Department court filing identifies Omar as “Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar.” The report says this was the first time the federal government publicly used that name in a filing. It also relays allegations from sources familiar with the investigation that “Ilhan Omar” was used as an alias by Ilhan Nur Said Elmi to obtain citizenship in 2000, live in the country illegally, and run for office.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has been accused of ignoring an American beaten by Israeli settlers.

Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson accused Ambassador Mike Huckabee, in a Thursday post on X, of failing to assist an American citizen who Carlson alleged was nearly beaten to death by Israeli settlers.

Carlson further accused Huckabee of knowing the American’s identity and dismissing his pleas for assistance. Huckabee responded to Carlson’s post Thursday, disputing the accusation that he ignored the injured American and sharing a timeline of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem’s efforts to contact the man and his family.

Huckabee opened his post by calling Carlson “deranged” and stating “he’d rather make unfounded accusations than get the facts.” He added that Carlson knew how to contact him. [Defense News]

"If you serve your country in a Republican administration, you will go to prison," said Sen Elissa Slotkin.

In April 2022, then-Rep. Slotkin voted along party lines to hold me in contempt of Congress for declining to testify before Congress after President Trump invoked executive privilege.

I was the first senior White House adviser ever imprisoned for honoring that privilege. For half a century, Justice Department policy under both parties held that if Congress can jail the president’s aides for keeping his confidences, the privilege is worthless. A 1984 Justice Department opinion put the rule in writing. It was not invented for Mr. Trump. It protects whoever holds the office.

I kept my oath. Ms. Slotkin put me in prison. She did it with the help of 217 other House Democrats, a Democratic judge, a Democratic jury and an all-Democratic appeals court panel. [Peter Navarro]

Two months before Wedgewood Polls entered her life, Mallory McMorrow was tied for first in Michigan’s Democrat Senate primary at 24%, according to a legitimate Emerson College poll.

Then, on June 24, Wedgewood released its own survey. Abdul El-Sayed led with 46%, Haley Stevens had 39%, and McMorrow was down to 9%; for good measure, the release cast her as the only Democrat who couldn’t beat Mike Rogers in November. She left the race eleven days later.

None of it was real. Wedgewood now admits that nearly everything it published this cycle was fabricated, and the New York Times has quietly pulled 15 Wedgewood surveys from its polling tracker. 

McMorrow says the money dried up, her volunteers lost heart, and reporters started asking when she would withdraw. The woman who ran the super PAC backing her says donors pointed to the Wedgewood numbers when they closed their checkbooks.

Four firms exploited that fact in 2026, and the Department of Justice and the state attorneys general, beginning with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, should treat them as the fraudsters they are. [Alexander Muse]

Navarro alleges criminal wrongdoing and proposes using subpoenas, testimony, and state investigations to build a prosecution. He also discusses tariffs and domestic manufacturing, linking both subjects through a broader challenge to entrenched power.

The world was shocked last week when news went viral that the Saudi Arabian government had executed two Bangladeshi expats accused of an “indecent act” at a mosque in Mecca.

While we don’t know the exact details, the story circulating on social media seems to be that they shared an innocent kiss; we do know that the pair didn’t commit any crime deserving of the death penalty.

But this is the reality for hundreds of millions of people enslaved to Islam. And if the Democrat Party gets its way, the same thing will happen here in the United States.

“My Like a child with a new toy, Democrats cannot pander enough to Muslims, though in a way, this started under Barack Hussein Muslim faith” Obama. But in 2026, the Islamophilia is on overdrive. Just the other day, former President Clinton quoted the Quran and condemned “anti-Muslim” rhetoric. It included claims that she backs men in women’s sports and locker rooms because she’s a “girl’s girl” (a term she didn’t define because she can’t even define what a “woman” is).

Federal prosecutors have identified Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., in a court filing as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi," listing the name the Minnesota Democrat uses publicly as an alias.

The name renews scrutiny of long-running claims about her past marriage. Elmi is also the surname of Omar's former husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, whom she married in 2009 and divorced in 2017.

The filing, submitted Wednesday in Washington's federal court by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's office, refers to her as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a/k/a Ilhan Abdullahi Omar."

It asks a judge to keep a search warrant for Omar's home sealed until agents finish executing it, after The New York Times and other outlets sought its release.

Zelensky’s willingness to freeze fighting along existing front lines puts a negotiated settlement at the center of the Ukraine debate. The supplied commentary credits Trump’s pressure and argues that American support should have carried firmer demands for an achievable end to the war.

In his interview with Brian Kilmeade, Zelensky supported a ceasefire, giving up 25% of his country to Putin, followed by diplomacy and security guarantees from Washington and Europe. His remarks establish openness to that framework, rather than a completed peace agreement or surrender.

Make no mistake, Putin is worse than Zelensky. Sure, the Little Z closed churches, shut down opposition parties and refused to hold elections, but he never followed that longstanding Russian tradition of assassinating one’s opponents. Putin has no conscience at all to restrict him to being human.

The consequential question is whether negotiations can produce terms both sides implement, with protection against renewed fighting after the cameras leave. [Luthmann]

Trump tore into El-Sayed and Ilhan Omar at a rally in Ohio, saying, “These people are crazy. You look at the guy running in Michigan. He’s a jihadist.”

Trump then praised El-Sayed’s opponent, Republican Mike Rogers, before saying, “Somalia bandits, Third World gangsters, jihadist sympathizers do not belong in Ohio.”

He added: “They don’t belong in America. Better get them the hell out of here.” The crowd shouted, “Deport!”

Bringing up El-Sayed and Omar is designed to crank up turnout. Ohio’s choice for Senate is between two boring white men. Trump spiced it up. When you vote for Jon Husted, you are also voting against Mohammed.

The campaign for the open US Senate seat in Michigan has been a bellwether for the country’s divided political state. On the one hand, you have US Rep. Mike Rogers, an American war hero. On the other hand, you have Abdul El-Sayed, a man whose sister was put on a terror watch list by President Barack Hussein Obama.

Last week, Loomer Unleashed reporter Charles Downs joined El-Sayed’s campaign organizing call and recorded video of Abdul’s campaign staff stating they were going to recruit people at this weekend’s No Kings rallies.

These rallies include elements so extreme, including people who have been seen waving Iranian flags in support of a government that has killed over 100,000 of its own people in the last year, in addition to protesters waving the Hamas flag and 86-47 signs that call for the assassination of President Trump.

So it didn’t surprise us when we learned that El-Sayed is recruiting volunteers among those who support the violent overthrow of the United States. [Laura Loomer]

The fiery “student” protests in France worsened over the weekend. Thousands of shops have been looted, hundreds of police officers and firefighters injured, and arson has destroyed numerous buildings, including a historic building that housed the tourist office in Lyon and town halls in Limoges and Marseilles.

The riots are allegedly in protest of conditions at schools, but it’s become quite obvious that they are internationally-backed communist and socialist revolutionary actions, joined by unassimilated Third World immigrants.

Well, obvious, that is, to everyone except France’s useless lame duck President Emmanel Macron, who still has six months in office to curse his countrymen with.

We wonder if there will be a France left by the time he’s finally shown the door. [Mike Huckabee]
