The Biden-Harris regime’s appointments to the administration have been nightmares going back to Interior Secretary and “Water Warrior” Deb Haaland, but with the nomination of Tracy Stone-Manning as Director of the Bureau of Land Management they’ve broken new ground.
They’ve nominated an actual eco-terrorist who collaborated with EarthFirst sabotage. Stone-Manning received legal immunity in exchange for her testimony in a 1993 criminal trial according to The Daily Caller. It is highly likely that given the preponderance of evidence against her, the Democrat would’ve been convicted had she not flipped on her fellow eco-terrorists.

And this reminds me of Ryan Hartman. Everyone living in Lake Worth back in 2016 remembers Ryan Hartman, who I found out later was a cop hating anarchist and was a member of EarthFirst,described as a radical environmental advocacy group.
After a sit-in in Palm Beach Gardens where he got arrested, he cleaned up his act and ended up running for commissioner, recommended by the late commissioner JoAnn Golden.
He wanted to save our beach from the commission at the time who was planning to turn it over to developer Hudson Holdings that all sorts of idea for our beach park, even a hotel. that got my attention! Later he admitted to being an anarchist. As it turns out, he was not one of my better political choices and a mistake. But it taught me a valuable lesson--to do the research myself on candidates.

Sarah Palin called it an "extreme fringe" group. They had taken a stand against the aerial killing of wolves in Alaska. It is a non-profit group that was listed as one of the best wildlife charities in the United States by Reader's Digest. The Defenders of Wildlife sent me the following:

Truth in Journalism - Doesn't exist in local Tabloid

Not only were the lies outrageous during this past election regarding Ryan Hartman and all the candidates running against the incumbents (lumping them all as anarchists or worse, even this blogger), and blown 100% out of reality, our local news "reporter/editor" was a part of the hateful and deceitful conspiracy to divide this city even further than it already was.
The trio, with professional guidance, reached into the soul of people and their basic fears and anxieties by over exaggeration, downright lies and character assassinations telling us if we did not re-elect the Trio, our lives and city would be doomed to slum, blight, crime and trouble. Their lies worked with the biggest landslide of recent memory.
Pelican Pete, who has been drinking the Kool-Aid back as far as I can remember, published his paper this week that mocks the Earth First group that he previously reported would be here for the Hartman campaign with its sole purpose of helping an anarchist. Scads of people were to be here even registering to vote. Of course, and as usual, there was no truth to his wild and twisted suggestion. But he ran with it and perhaps believed it but personally maligned a candidate.
Today he prints in his loony bird column: "By the way, this bird hasn't seen the musical supposedly being made in February, you know the one that called for people from all over to come to Lake Worth and sleep under the stars. The one that would like people with strong telephone experience to perform in. Have you? Didn't think so."
Can we ever get truth in journalism from our local newspaper? When a newsman writes a story, he should be interviewing both sides in order to report honestly and fairly. This rarely happens here. Take his Christopher McVoy crack in this week's editorial calling him "less than honest." I would bet any amount of money on it that he never talked to Commissioner McVoy about the topic at hand (dinner meetings behind locked doors) nor does he talk to him about any matter. He listens to his preferred Trio.
The bird must have failed Reporting 101. Accuracy is essential if journalism is to inform the public debate. A news story needs to be balanced and representative of the widest opinion base in order to protect credibility. This is why Margaret Menge was so good at what she does and why she was so feared by this side of politicos in this city and why they brought her down. Honesty in journalism has little chance to survive here.
But this is all written by a political bird, so accuracy, credibility and honesty be damned.

At the Bryant Park Neighborhood forum:
"...there was a brief testy exchange between Amoroso and Hartman after the commissioner called Hartman a “self-proclaimed anarchist” [Hartman has already said that he is a philosophical anarchist who believes in benevolence towards others...See my blog]. The Post writer goes on to say that Hartman plans to bring a group of Earth First! members to the city in February to register to vote, per Amoroso. "Earth First! is a radical environmental advocacy group," the Post wrote.
Actually, Hartman has never said that he personally plans to bring this group to our city as stated in the Post article or has anything to do with this group's decision to come to Lake Worth or that he has any clout over a national movement. A radical is anyone who takes a position against the norm or just takes action for what he believes. A simple definition of the word "radical" is that others are actually trying to get things done or take a different position than the norm. Most of us just sit around and do nothing when something "bugs" us. Constitutionalists are considered "radical" by progressive Democrats. I've been called a "radical" by some in this city for my conservative political views.
At the forum, Commissioner Amoroso said that we need to embrace all people but in this article he said, “They will be making decisions for you, the taxpayers,” Amoroso said. “It’s a wedge piece.” Hartman responded to the Amoroso charge by saying that the Earth Firsters are coming to produce an outdoor musical and even asked the audience if anyone wanted to help with it. “None of them, to my knowledge, will be sleeping in Bryant Park,” Hartman said.

Why is it that when the electorate tells politicians what in the heck they want by WINNING AN ELECTION, politicians twist and turn the outcome. It happens with frequency especially in Lake Worth. But we're not talking about Lake Worth here but a vote state wide that was won by 75% of the ballots cast. This was the Land Acquisition Amendment to Florida’s Constitution that ensures $10 billion over the next 20 years to be set aside exclusively for state conservation efforts.
According to this EarthJustice article, lobbyists are trying to help out their big corporate friends by diverting the money.
The solution--get the money out of politics and get rid of corrupt politicians.
Submit a comment to the Senate Committee on Environmental Preservation and Conservation.

PB County Environmental Coalition
Today in the local section of the Palm Beach Post is an article on the Palm Beach County Environmental Coalition and its planned protest at the Briger site on December 5. The Coalition says, "If completed, the development would destroy the 681-acre Briger Forest, one of the largest unprotected forests of its size in the southern region of the state."
This group is an active group that speaks out on the injustices in our society and looks out for our environment and natural resources. Sometimes, during their enthusiasm, they get arrested for such things as disturbing the peace or tree hugging, etc. They are always polite but stand up for their convictions, something that the status quo and developer enthusiasts absolutely abhor.
An excerpt from Panagioti Tsolkas co-chair, PBC Environmental Coalition on 7th Avenue South and the City of Lake Worth's desire to pave it over all for the convenience of the development, La Joya Villages:
When I went out to knock on doors in the neighborhood surrounding 6th Avenue South yesterday—spreading the word about an attempt to pave a new road—I was reminded of the years I spent in the area working with families in a community garden on 6th Avenue and F Street. After 8 years of growing fruits, vegetables and community bonds, the land we had worked was bulldozed, in 2007, by the forces of greed and indifference.

Earth Day celebration in Lake Worth
Each year, Earth Day -- April 22 -- marks the anniversary of what many consider the birth of the modern environmental movement...the hippies, the flower children, and the tree huggers.
There is a group in California that advocates Californians for Population Stabilization that wants to stop human population growth-- says people are ruining the planet, ruining our Earth -- more people mean a terrible environment especially with the illegals.
To protect the air, water and land in California, they want American immigration policy to become more like Europe, and not let children of illegal immigrants be citizens just by being born and enforce immigration laws rather than encourage illegal immigration by doing another round of amnesty. Just when I was thinking that everyone in California was nuts.

This Coalition has members who are true environmentalists but its head is a declared anarchist and guy pal to anarchist, Cara Jennings, former commissioner in Lake Worth.

They have a point in that it is many of the big wigs with the money that are ruining our planet, our country and the State of Florida. The Sierra Club was formed in 1892 and has been working to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself. They are the largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or sometimes USEPA) is an agency of the federal government of the United States charged with protecting human health and the environment, by writing and enforcing regulations based on laws passed by Congress. During these difficult times, Republicans are now dissing its effectiveness and some believe that they are too regulatory. This is one area for which I disagree with Allen West.
This video is being posted so that you can see how effective a campaign can be when money is no object and the message is convincing. You expect hugs on Valentine's Day but Everglades Earth First organization protested the City of Palm Beach Gardens today by hugging a tree. They along with the Environmental Coalition have protested the Mayor, David Levy, before for wanting to build on the last bit of forest.

Mayor Varela's Campaign Treasurer believes Loyalty not important

The following Letter to the Editor of the PB Post appeared in Thursday's paper. This entire belief, especially by an Officer of the Lake Worth Democratic Club, is the main reason why I resigned from the Club several years ago. Now I would resign because my politics has changed.
Not only is Mr. Goodstein an Officer of a political club but he was the Campaign Treasurer for Democrat Rene Varela, Mayor of Lake Worth.
If you recall, Rene Varela lost his election the first time around for Commissioner District 4. A main factor in this defeat was that certain Officers and Directors in The Lake Worth Democratic Club did not support him and gave their money and allegiance to a Republican in that District. His so-called friends in this Dem Club, campaigned against him, their own Club member. I doubt if they have ever apologized to him for this egregious and despicable action.
There is no earthly reason why anyone who is an officer or a director of a political club would give their support to anyone other than someone in the same Party. There is a guarantee when they take that Oath that they will adhere to it and that the rest of us can trust them to make the correct choices. There are higher standards for officers and directors and rightly so. If you want to support someone out of the Party, then form another Club and called it something else because what you are doing is disloyal and not what the Club stands for.

Specific facts matter. I am sympathetic about your club's internal stresses. All I can do is ask people to live under our rules and honor the oaths they freely took to hold the offices they sought."Mr. Siegel forgot what he wrote when he endorsed Charlie Crist, former Republican and now an N/A, over Democrat, Kendrick Meek.

The following Letter to the Editor of the PB Post appeared in Thursday's paper. This entire belief, especially by an Officer of the Lake Worth Democratic Club, is the main reason why I resigned from the Club several years ago. Now I would resign because my politics has changed.Not only is Mr. Goodstein an Officer of a political club but he was the Campaign Treasurer for Democrat Rene Varela, Mayor of Lake Worth.
If you recall, Rene Varela lost his election the first time around for Commissioner District 4. A main factor in this defeat was that certain Officers and Directors in The Lake Worth Democratic Club did not support him and gave their money and allegiance to a Republican in that District. His so-called friends in this Dem Club, campaigned against him, their own Club member. I doubt if they have ever apologized to him for this egregious and despicable action.
There is no earthly reason why anyone who is an officer or a director of a political club would give their support to anyone other than someone in the same Party. There is a guarantee when they take that Oath that they will adhere to it and that the rest of us can trust them to make the correct choices. There are higher standards for officers and directors and rightly so. If you want to support someone out of the Party, then form another Club and called it something else because what you are doing is disloyal and not what the Club stands for.

Political party leaders seem to want to control elected leaders by demanding strict loyalty for their past support. But do we want leaders who kowtow to party apparatchiks rather than think for themselves? We elect people, and look to leaders, for their judgment. Any party leaders who expect strict obedience misunderstand their limited role. Most people don't know who they are, and they have not been elected to a damn thing.
The Palm Beach County Democratic Club had disagreements over the oath - because of elected officials who endorsed Charlie Crist - and suffered for it. I regard the loyalty oaths of both parties as repugnant. If you can't earn followers, it's no good to try to intimidate compliance. If you can't get the members to cooperate, it's time to think about your efforts. The oaths risk repelling people of good will from entering into the political process.

Aircraft Carrier Robot Drones
The other night Shepard Smith on FOX News had a segment on unmanned aircraft called drones...little tiny aircraft used for recon and intelligence missions. Knowing nothing about this, I thought it very fascinating. Down the road, we will have the ability to spy on everything and everyone. Some day, the whole world will have the technology and perhaps then we won't need a Julian or the National Enquirer.
In October, NASA conducted the first test flights of its newly acquired Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk, a jet-powered drone that can fly at altitudes up to 65,000 feet (where it can avoid the rough weather of polar regions) for more than 31 hours at a time. It can literally fly to the other end of the earth on a single tank of fuel.
Many companies are developing drones: Boeing, Lockheed Martin, The Naval Research laboratory, Aurora Flight Sciences, to name a few. There is nothing greater than U.S. ingenuity.
