Interior Secretary exposes corruption

Democrat melts down after Secretary Doug Burgum drops bombshell about NGOs during committee hearing

Democrats had a meltdown during a committee hearing while grilling Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum on all of the programs he is attempting to shut down.

And no one was ready for his answer.

HOLY CRAP! Trump Interior Sec. Doug Burgum just revealed he found NGOs where up to 100% PERCENT of their revenue was the federal government...

...and their CEO would make $650K a YEAR, and pay lobbyists $400K.

He exposes it: "We found organizations that were receiving grants from Interior, where 80 to 100 percent of the revenue of that NGO was a grant from the federal government."

Trump Admin Halts Offshore Wind Projects Over National Security Concerns

Trump Admin Halts Offshore Wind Projects Over National Security Concerns

The action affects five large offshore wind projects under construction and builds on a broader Trump administration review of federal wind policy.

The action affects five large offshore wind projects under construction and builds on a broader Trump administration review of federal wind policy.

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said in a Dec. 22 social media post that the five paused projects were “expensive, unreliable, heavily subsidized.”

“ONE natural gas pipeline supplies as much energy as these 5 projects COMBINED,” he wrote, noting that President Donald Trump “is bringing common sense back to energy policy & putting security FIRST!”

2,050 jobs cut in Interior Department

Interior Department announces layoffs for over 2,000 workers

The Interior Department has dropped a significant bombshell, revealing plans to cut 2,050 jobs across its sprawling network of agencies.

According to Just the News, the department disclosed this move in a court filing on Monday to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, outlining layoffs that will impact 89 units or agencies.

Among the hardest hit are the Bureau of Land Management with 470 job cuts, the Fish and Wildlife Service losing 140 positions, and the National Park Service facing 270 reductions, with over 180 of those in key regions like the Southeast, Northeast, and Pacific West.

The department insists this isn’t a reaction to the federal government shutdown that began on Oct. 1 after Congress failed to pass a spending bill. Rachel Borra, the chief human resources officer, stated in the filing that the layoff plans “predated” the shutdown, aiming to distance the decision from current political gridlock.

On Wednesday, federal employee unions secured a temporary restraining order from the court to halt layoffs linked to OMB directives. Oc course.

"Thriving Everglades, Thriving Economy: Nature’s Value in the Everglades"

Everglades Study has attention of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and the President

The numbers don’t lie--The economic study reveals that the Everglades supplies drinking water to millions of residents and drives Florida’s major economic sectors and generate $31.5 billion per year through various economic benefits like property values, travel industry, recreational activities, clean water services, and storm protection.
  • Real estate values depend on clean water and natural beauty.
  • Tourism thrives when visitors can experience pristine wilderness.
  • Outdoor recreation generates billions in economic activity.
  • The Everglades also provides critical protection against extreme weather events that could cost taxpayers far more than restoration efforts.
The Everglades Foundation released a bombshell report that values America’s Everglades at a staggering $1 trillion over 50 years. That’s not some environmental activist’s wishful thinking. I believe that commissioner McVoy would agree.

Burgum delivered a keynote speech at the America’s Everglades Summit held at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center on June 10.

The summit brought together more than 300 people, including lawmakers, Trump Administration officials, scientists, Tribal leaders, nonprofit partners, and business executives.

“As a research scientist, I have supported Everglades restoration for 30 years through field research, book authorship, and science advocacy. I am thrilled to see renewed recognition of the significant economic benefits of restoring one of America’s ecological treasures - a flowing Everglades. I sincerely hope that increased federal and state support will soon bring the right quantities and timing of clean, fresh water flowing unimpeded all the way through a restored Everglades into a restored Florida Bay.”

Biden's blatant overreach empowering our Enemies

Dept. of Interior Shuts Down Alaskan Fossil Fuel Lands

"Reports broke over the weekend that the Department of the Interior had locked down areas of Alaska for mining as well as oil and gas production.

This is going to have a major impact on our energy supplies, not to mention the devastating impact it will have on Alaska’s economy.

Rick Whitbeck, Alaska state director for Power The Future, stated the size of the land that is now off limits is as big as the state of Pennsylvania.

He stated, “Today’s double-whammy attack on Alaska’s resource development opportunities makes 65 times the Biden administration has targeted our state’s energy and economic future.

This administration has completely kowtowed to radical environmentalists in an effort to gain favor at the ballot box."
