About 2,800 Russian soldiers have died in the first 36 hours of Russia’s bloody invasion, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine claims.
If true, Russia‘s losses in the first days following its invasion of Ukraine top the casualties U.S. soldiers faced during the 20-year military operation in Afghanistan. Ukraine also says it destroyed nearly 600 tanks and armored vehicles and over 17 warplanes and helicopters.
“This morning, we are defending our country alone. Just like yesterday, the most powerful country in the world looked on from a distance,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an apparent reference to the United States on Friday. “Russia was hit with sanctions yesterday, but these are not enough to get these foreign troops off our soil. Only through solidarity and determination can this be achieved.”

The Biden administration has been unsuccessful at ensuring the security of the U.S. and should examine Poland’s example if it wants to successfully secure the southern border, according to the Polish government minister, Marcin Romanowski.Poland is building a wall on its border with Belarus after thousands of illegal migrants attempted to cross its border in August. The EU accused Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenka of inciting the wave of migrants and trying to destabilize Poland.
“Tens of thousands of migrants from the Middle East arrived by air to Minsk and then were transported to the border,” Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice Romanowski said Friday.

Remember back when the powers that be claimed that two doses of a coronavirus vaccine would suffice? How about when they said that only one booster shot would be needed?
Well, they lied. Now, if the FDA approves a second booster shot, then the tally will be up to four coronavirus vaccine doses: the initial two followed by two boosters.
It is looking more and more as though those who have argued that the new norm will be routine coronavirus booster vaccines are going to be proven to be right.

A proposed amendment to Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill would require schools to inform parents of their child’s sexual orientation within six weeks of disclosure, otherwise known as “outing.”House Bill 1557 bars educators from talking about sexual orientation or gender identity in elementary schools or at any grade level when a lesson is considered not “age appropriate.” It would allow parents to sue schools over perceived violations.
The bill requires schools to inform families of their child’s LBTQ+ status, should the student inform a teacher, counselor, or other personnel. In the originally filed version, the bill leaves an option for exemption from disclosure for instances where there was a suspicion of the information leading to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Because of widespread condemnation by Gays and even the Biden administration, bill sponsor Rep. Joe Harding withdrew the amendment on Tuesday.

"LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Traffic trouble on I-95, Friday afternoon, when a crash shut down several lanes of northbound traffic in Lake Worth Beach.The crash involved a tractor-trailer and two other vehicles near the 6th Avenue S. exit.
What made matters worse was that the tractor-trailer spilled 50 gallons of diesel fuel.
