Top executives of a green organization that the Biden Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) selected to receive billions in public funds have collectively made hundreds of thousands of dollars in personal political donations to Democratic candidates and organizations in recent years, a Daily Caller News Foundation review of Federal Election Commission (FEC) data found.

The Biden EPA chose the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) as an awardee of $5 billion in taxpayer funds through the administration's massive Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) program in April 2024.

Reed Hundt, the CGC's former CEO and chairman and Richard Kauffman — the group's CEO who replaced Hundt in January — hav personally donated thousands of dollars to Democrats.

Notably, Hundt's personal account on X featured numerous anti-Trump posts — including ones endorsing efforts to remove Trump from the ballot — before it was deleted. Hundt did not respond to a request for comment.

But We Need a New Nominee," expressed the sentiment of many in the Democratic Party that viewed Biden's debate performance as substantial evidence to remove him from the ticket. "Palm Beach County Commissioner Mack Bernard pressured a contractor to support last year’s affordable housing bond issue, according to a lawsuit filed by a Greenacres builder, Robling Architecture Construction Inc.

The claim, which county attorneys are "vigorously" opposing, is drawn from new evidence Robling claims it obtained as part of a lawsuit it filed in June against the county after it failed to win a multi-million dollar contract overseeing the construction of new fire stations.

By a 4-3 vote on March 22, 2022, commissioners awarded the work to Core Construction Services of Florida, despite the county purchasing agent's finding that Robling should have been awarded the deal. The agent said Core was improperly given points for having a presence in Palm Beach County.

Based on emails obtained from Core, Robling’s lawyers are seeking to add Bernard and former Commissioner Dave Kerner as defendants.  Bernard’s aide pressured Core to make a sizable contribution to the Hometown Housing Trust, a nonprofit created to support the passage of a bond referendum to build affordable and workforce housing in Palm Beach County

The lawsuit also alleges that the emails show there were meetings between Core and Bernard and Kerner and that the two men engaged in activities that exceeded “the scope of their official capacities as county commissioners and acted in bad faith, willfully and wantonly and in disregard for Robling’s constitutional rights.”

Special Counsel David Weiss Indicts FBI Informant Who Accused Biden of Accepting Bribes

An FBI informant has been charged with lying to his handler about ties between President Biden, his son Hunter, and the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma.

The informant, identified as 41-year-old Alexander Smirnov, is accused of lying to FBI agents when he told them that executives associated with Burisma paid $5 million each between 2015 and 2016. The allegation, which was made in June 2020, became a central point of interest in the House impeachment inquiry into President Biden this past summer.

In a 37-page indictment document released Thursday, Special Counsel David Weiss accused Smirnov of providing “false derogatory information.”

Smirnov told the bureau that a Burisma executive boasted about offering Hunter Biden a seat on the company’s board to “protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems,” prosecutors with Weiss’ office said. The information was provided to the FBI after President Biden had all but locked down the Democratic nominee for president, prosecutors said.

The confidential source said the Burisma executive told him he "paid" the Bidens in such a manner "through so many different bank accounts" that investigators would not be able to "unravel this for at least 10 years."

The document then makes reference to "the Big Guy," which, has been said to be a reference to Joe Biden.

The $40,000 money trail began on July 30, 2017, when Hunter Biden demanded a $10 million payment from CEFC China Energy Co. associate Raymond Zhao. CEFC had close ties to the Chinese Communist Party. The Bidens launched their working relationship with CEFC when Joe Biden was vice president.

The laundered money trail took six steps, the Oversight Committee said:

• July 30, 2017: Hunter Biden put pressure on Zhao for a $10 million payment using the influence of Joe Biden, who was “sitting” in the room, according to a screenshot of a WhatsApp message from an IRS whistleblower in June.

• August 8, 2017: Hunter-Biden-linked bank accounts received about $5 million in payments from Zhao within ten days of the text, using proximity to Joe Biden as a cudgel. (Northern International Capital, a Chinese company affiliated with CEFC, sent $5 million to Hudson West III, a joint venture established by Hunter Biden and CEFC associate Gongwen Dong.)

• August 8, 2017: On the same day, $400,000 was wired to Owasco, P.C. from Hudson West III, another entity controlled by the president’s son.

• August 14, 2017: Hunter Biden then wired $150,000 to Lion Hall Group, an entity owned by Joe Biden’s brother, James Biden, and his wife, Sara Biden.

• August 28, 2017: Sara Biden withdrew $50,000 in cash from Lion Hall Group. On the same day, Sara Biden deposited $50,000 into her shared personal checking account with James Biden.

• September 3, 2017: Sara Biden wrote Joe Biden a check for $40,000 for a “loan repayment,” a method Republicans say is used to launder money.

Hunter Biden’s attorneys appear to be changing their story. What they initially said was a $250,000 “loan” has now been shown to be a “personal investment” thanks to recently uncovered banking records.

The younger Biden’s legal team had also first claimed that the sum in question had never yielded a “return on” any “investment.” How his team intends to explain the apparent anomaly is yet to be seen.

According to a September 26th report from Fox News, the President’s son received a total of $260,000 in wires from his Chinese associates in Beijing in the middle of 2019. Joe Biden’s Delaware residence was listed as the beneficiary address for those transactions.

The $260,000 that flowed from BHR into Hunter Biden’s U.S.-based bank account was broken down into two increments. The first lesser transfer of $10,000 was listed as a “loan” and the second larger amount of $250,000 was labeled as a “personal investment.”

Sitting in front of the camera, Shokin calmly explained the need for his corruption investigation following the surprise lifting of a seizure he had made of $23 million belonging to Burisma following the company’s move to bring Hunter Biden and associate Devon Archer into the fold.

“Biden was acting in his own interests, not the interests of the American people,” he said. “That is the explanation, in my opinion.”

The emails were sent by business contacts of Hunter Biden, including Sam Jauhari, a Democratic donor, and Sheikh Mohammed al-Rahbani, another Obama campaign donor. In one email sent on January 28, 2015, Jauhari wrote that Hunter "wants to hire his own people.

FBI Source Provided Allegations That Joe Biden, Hunter Biden Received Bribes

President Joe Biden and his son Hunter "coerced" a several-million-dollar bribe from Burisma Holdings to protect the company and get a Ukrainian executive prosecutor investigating Burisma fired, a long-awaited FBI document made public Thursday alleges. [the Center Square}

"A confidential source provided information to the FBI in 2020 alleging that then-presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden were bribed to pressure Ukraine to remove a prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma, the Ukrainian company that employed the younger Mr. Biden, according to a document made public on July 20.

The source said he traveled to Burisma’s office in Ukraine in 2015 or 2016 with a man named Oleksandr Ostapenko. During the meeting, Vadim Pojarskii, chief financial officer of Burisma, told the source that the company hired Mr. Hunter Biden “to protect [the company], through his dad, from all kinds of problems.”

After an investigation of Burisma by Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was disclosed in 2016, the source told Mykola Zlochevsky, owner of Burisma, that the disclosure would have a negative effect on the prospective initial public offering. Mr. Zlochevsky replied that Mr. Hunter Biden “will take care of all of those issues through his dad,” according to the document. Burisma contacted the source to seek assistance in buying a U.S. company to merge with in the hope that it could go public in the United States.

Mr. Zlochevsky was also cited as saying that it cost $5 million to pay one Biden and $5 million to pay another Biden and he has the evidence." [Epoch Times]
