Dr. Fauci

Biden's pardon won't protect Fauci if he lies under oath again, House Oversight chair warns

House Oversight Chairman James Comer is warning Dr. Anthony Fauci that the presidential pardon he received from Joe Biden has hard limits, and that any dishonesty in his upcoming Senate testimony could carry real consequences.

Fauci appeared Wednesday before a GOP-led Senate panel chaired by Sen. Rand Paul, a longtime critic who has spent years pressing the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director on COVID-19 origins and pandemic-era policy decisions.

The hearing comes days after Paul made public hundreds of pages of Fauci's personal diary entries from the pandemic period, entries that, Fox News Digital reported, appear to show Fauci reflecting on his fame and taking credit for policies that closed schools across the country.

That last detail matters. In January 2024, Fauci told the House Oversight Committee flatly: "I did not close the schools." If his own diary contradicts that claim, the gap between his sworn testimony and his private words becomes a central question.

Comer did not hold back. Biden's blanket pardon, he said, covers past conduct, not future testimony.

Ben Franklin Exhibit at the Smithsonian

Smithsonian Director Said She Has Zero Regrets After Getting Caught Smearing Ben Franklin With No Proof

The Smithsonian already stood accused of turning America's history museum into a woke propaganda machine. Then one exhibit about Ben Franklin walked into a House hearing and detonated everything.

What the Smithsonian said about him left even the room speechless. A Heritage Foundation researcher stood in front of the House Oversight Committee and pulled the pin. He told lawmakers about a Smithsonian display called The Electric Dr. Franklin.

The exhibit ran at the National Museum of American History from 2021 to 2025. Its subtitle asked visitors to consider "Enslaved People in Franklin's Research." The museum's own text admits it has no proof this ever happened.

"Indentured servants and enslaved people in his household could also have been used," the exhibit states, before admitting the museum may never know if that's true. That is not history. That is a smear dressed up in a museum placard.

Heritage Foundation senior fellow Mike Gonzalez asked lawmakers why anyone would smear a Founding Father like Franklin over something so bizarre and unprovable.

Franklin spent his final years as president of the Pennsylvania Society for the Abolition of Slavery. He personally petitioned Congress to end slavery in America.

Biden Used Temporary Protected Status to Block Deportations for Over a Million Illegal Aliens

Biden’s Backdoor Amnesty Scheme Just Got Exposed and the Numbers Are Staggering

Biden let Venezuelan gang members into the country and handed them work permits.

Now Congress is uncovering how he made sure they could never be deported. Biden's backdoor amnesty scheme just got exposed – and it's worse than anyone thought.

Representative Brandon Gill chairs the House Oversight Committee's Task Force on Defending Constitutional Rights and Exposing Institutional Abuses.

And he laid out precisely how the Biden administration hijacked Temporary Protected Status – TPS – to deliver what he calls "backdoor amnesty" to more than a million people with no legal right to be in the United States.

TPS was never designed for this.

Congress created the program to give temporary shelter to foreign nationals whose home countries had been hit by war or natural disaster – the operative word being temporary.

They redesignated TPS countries on a rolling basis – shifting the cutoff date forward every 18 months to pull in new arrivals who had crossed the border during the Biden surge itself.

"About half of all current TPS beneficiaries weren't even residing in the United States until after Joe Biden took office," Gill told the committee. "In other words, TPS was a vehicle for providing backdoor amnesty for the very people that the American people saw pouring into our border for four years."

Bondi shifted blame to her Deputy

Bondi concedes DOJ made 'redaction errors' in Epstein files, shifts responsibility to her deputy

Former Attorney General Pam Bondi sat for a closed-door interview with the House Oversight Committee on Friday and acknowledged that the Justice Department made "redaction errors" during its release of millions of pages of Jeffrey Epstein files, but placed the blame squarely on Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, the man who now runs the department she left two months ago.

The admission, delivered in a transcribed but unsworn session that Democrats protested was neither videotaped nor conducted under oath, marks the first time Bondi has publicly conceded specific failures in a process she once promised would bring full transparency to one of the most disturbing sex-trafficking cases in American history.

USA Today reported that Bondi told lawmakers she had delegated oversight of the document review to Blanche and did not personally conduct it.

In her opening statement, she framed the release as "an enormously complicated and labor-intensive process" involving roughly 3 million documents, a stack she once compared to the height of the Eiffel Tower.

The Washington Examiner noted that Bondi told lawmakers she didn't lead every aspect of the Epstein files review, reinforcing her posture of distance from the operational details.

She claimed the DOJ had "produced everything required" by the Epstein Files Transparency Act and that staffers did "our very best in the time frame allotted by the legislation to protect victims."

From $30 Million to $95,000 After Congress Came Knocking

Top Oversight Official Puts Felony Question in Play Over Ilhan Omar’s Finances

Ilhan Omar spent years lecturing Americans about greed, corruption, and the rigged system protecting the powerful.

Now her own financial records are under federal scrutiny.

What Comer found in her amended disclosure is what's putting her in serious legal jeopardy. The facts are not in dispute.

Omar's 2024 congressional financial disclosure listed her and husband Tim Mynett with assets between $6 million and $30 million.

After the Office of Congressional Conduct requested additional information earlier this year, Omar filed an amended disclosure. The new number: between $18,004 and $95,000.

Twenty-nine million dollars – gone. Accounting error, her office said.

Intgelligence Committee wants Investigation of Ilhan Omar

Rep. Burchett pushes House Intelligence Committee to obtain Ilhan Omar's immigration records

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) has written the House Intelligence Committee seeking to obtain immigration records for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), pressing what he says is a straightforward question about whether the congresswoman is lawfully present in the United States.

Burchett told The Post this week that the Intelligence panel has appropriate jurisdiction to get the records. The committee has yet to respond to his request, which began last month.
"Let's get to the bottom of everything. I want to know if she's here legally. If she's not, then we need to take appropriate action."
He is not the only Republican pulling on this thread. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has moved to have the House Oversight Committee subpoena the immigration records of Omar and her two ex-husbands, Ahmed Abdisalan Hirsi and Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.

Meanwhile, House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) has launched his own probe into Omar's disclosed wealth, which showed sudden growth in businesses tied to her third husband, Minnesota political operative Tim Mynett.

Oversight Committee Investigating Omar's husband

Comer Demands Business Records From Ilhan Omar's Husband Amid Questions Over Wealth Surge

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is demanding business records tied to Rep. Ilhan Omar's husband, Tim Mynett, zeroing in on two companies whose reported value exploded from as little as $15,001 to as much as $30 million in a single year.

The Kentucky Republican's letter targets documents and communications related to eStCru LLC and Rose Lake Capital — firms in which Mynett holds stakes — and suggests the records may reveal people "buying access."

Neither Omar nor Mynett responded to press requests for comment. Their spokespeople stayed silent.

The request could serve as the opening act before a subpoena forces delivery of the documents. And if the numbers on those financial disclosures are even half-accurate, the questions Comer is asking deserve answers.

The Clintons, stalling the Oversight Committee

The Clinton Playbook: Delay, Deflect, Declare Victory

The timeline here matters because it exposes a pattern so familiar it practically has a copyright. For six months, according to Hillary Clinton herself, the Clintons "engaged" the Oversight committee.

But what did that engagement look like? The committee says the Clintons declined multiple offers to schedule live testimony and instead offered sworn written statements — a format that gives lawyers total control over every syllable and denies investigators the ability to ask follow-up questions in real time.

Chairman Comer rejected that. He also rejected a request for a closed-door deposition and what he described as a "ridiculous offer" for an unofficial interview. Last month, Comer stated that the Clintons' "latest demands" made it--
"clear they believe their last name entitles them to special treatment."
Then came the no-shows. Both Clintons failed to appear for their scheduled depositions. Bill Clinton's absence triggered contempt of Congress proceedings. Hillary Clinton defied the bipartisan subpoena entirely. Six months of "good faith engagement" culminated in two empty chairs.

Only after all of that — after the contempt proceedings, after the subpoena defiance, after months of procedural stalling — did the Clintons' lawyers, Jonathan Skladany and Ashley Callen, finally accept the terms of the depositions. And they did it, according to the committee, "at the eleventh hour" on Tuesday.

Massive Medicaid fraud in Maine.

Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali

House panel probes Somali health contractor fraud

Another potential government boondoggle is under the microscope as the House Oversight Committee digs into allegations of massive Medicaid fraud tied to a Somali-led health contractor in Maine.

The investigation centers on Gateway Community Financial Services, with possible links to similar schemes in Minnesota, prompting Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services to slam the brakes on Medicaid payments to the company after damning whistleblower claims and media exposure, as NewsNation reports.

The Oversight Committee was already sniffing around questionable Medicaid dealings among Somali contractors in Minnesota when their radar pinged on Gateway in Maine. NewsNation’s sharp reporting brought this mess into the spotlight.

The committee isn’t messing around, naming Gateway’s founder and CEO, Abdullahi Ali, as a person of interest in this unfolding drama. Maine State Rep. Deqa Dhalac, a Democrat and former assistant executive director at Gateway, also landed on the radar.

Even Maine’s Democrat Gov. Janet Mills has gone radio silent on the matter, dodging NewsNation’s calls for a statement. The Maine Department of Health and Human Services also clammed up when pressed for answers.

Bill and Hillary have ignored Epstein Subpoenas

Clintons Threatened With Contempt in Epstein Probe

GOP House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said he plans to commence contempt of Congress proceedings against Bill and Hillary Clinton for ignoring the committee's subpoenas related to its ongoing probe into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

In July, a bipartisan House Oversight Subcommittee approved motions to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton and a slew of other high-profile political figures to aid its investigation looking into how the federal government handled Epstein's sex trafficking case.

The subpoenas were then sent out in early August, and the Clinton's were scheduled to testify Dec. 17-18.

"It has been more than four months since Bill and Hillary Clinton were subpoenaed to sit for depositions related to our investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s horrific crimes.

Throughout that time, the former president and former secretary of state have delayed, obstructed, and largely ignored the committee staff’s efforts to schedule their testimony," Comer said in a press release issued Friday evening.

Biden's Autopen Actions under Investigation

House Oversight: Biden's Executive Actions With Autopen 'Illegitimate'

The GOP-led House Oversight Committee on Tuesday called on the Justice Department to investigate every executive action taken during the Biden administration, saying it found evidence that some of former President Joe Biden's orders and clemency decisions may have been issued without his personal approval.

In a 91-page report released early Tuesday, the committee said its investigation found no record that Biden authorized several executive actions, including presidential pardons and commutations.

It further said his aides may have used the presidential autopen, a mechanical device that replicates signatures, to sign off on actions "without his knowledge."

"Because of this," the report said, "the Committee deems those actions taken through use of the autopen as void," and it "finds numerous executive actions, particularly clemency actions, taken during the Biden administration were illegitimate."

Bill Barr delivers devastating testimony for Democrats

Bill Barr just gave Trump the one answer about Epstein that Democrats desperately didn’t want to hear

Democrats have spent years trying to connect Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.

They thought they finally had their smoking gun when Congress launched its investigation. But former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr just gave him the one answer about Epstein that Democrats desperately hoped he wouldn’t.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr sat down with House investigators Monday for closed-door testimony about the federal government’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

Democrats walked into that room expecting fireworks. They walked out empty-handed. "He said that he had never seen anything that would implicate President Trump in any of this," Comer told reporters.

But Barr didn’t stop there. The former Attorney General dropped another truth bomb that left Democrats scrambling.

"He believed if there had been anything pertaining to President Trump with respect to the Epstein list, that he felt like the Biden administration would probably have leaked it out," Comer revealed.

DOJ turns over Epstein documents to Oversight Committee

Justice Department Turns Over Epstein Documents After Subpoena

But You Won’t See Them Soon

"Americans may know more about the crimes committed by deceased child sex trafficker and liberal financier Jeffrey Epstein, including possible associates, after the Justice Department turned over documents on the federal case against him following a congressional subpoena.

U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer (R-KY) announced in a statement the Justice Department informed the Committee it will begin providing Epstein-related records.

“There are many records in DOJ’s custody, and it will take the Department time to produce all the records and ensure the identification of victims and any child sexual abuse material are redacted,” said Comer.

Comer issued an Aug. 5 subpoena to the Justice Department for records related to Epstein.

The same day, he also issued deposition subpoenas to Bill and Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Robert Mueller, William Barr, Jeff Sessions, and Alberto Gonzales for testimony related to horrific crimes perpetrated by Jeffrey Epstein,” the statement notes, after an Oversight subcommittee approved motions to “subpoena these records and compel witness testimony.” [AmericanLibertyNews]

Clinton's subpoenaed to testify before House Oversight Committee

James Comer calls Bill Clinton 'prime suspect' in Epstein investigation

House Republican James Comer (KY) teased sensational findings about Bill Clinton's ties to Jeffrey Epstein, calling the former president the "prime suspect" in the House Oversight Committee's investigation into Epstein's connections.

"Everybody in America wants to know what went on in Epstein Island, and we’ve all heard reports that Bill Clinton was a frequent visitor there, so he’s a prime suspect to be deposed by the House Oversight Committee," Comer told Newsmax.

Comer's committee has subpoenaed Clinton and his wife Hillary to testify before Congress about Epstein, whose life of crime has been thrust back into the headlines in recent weeks.

While many are skeptical that the Clintons' subpoenas will be enforced, Comer has threatened to hold the Clintons in contempt if they refuse to testify, which could expose them to criminal charges from the Justice Department.

Comer also notes that members of both parties voted to subpoena the Clintons, which could make it harder for them to defy the request.

Former Biden Aide testifies before Oversight Committee

Former Biden Aide Neera Tanden Does Not Know Who Ordered President’s Autopen Signatures

She admitted that aides were allowed to sign for pardons

Neera Tanden, a former top aide for President Joe Biden, told Congress that she had authorization to direct autopen signatures for the president but does not know who gave the final order.

Tanden served as the director of Biden’s Domestic Policy Council and she told Congress during a testimony on Tuesday that the president used an automatic signature tool allowing for aides to sign pardons, memos, and other official documents in the White House. Tanden said she did not know who authorized those signatures. Per Fox News:

During Tanden’s interview before Congress, which lasted more than five hours, she told lawmakers that, in her role as staff secretary and senior advisor to the former president between 2021 and 2023, she was authorized to direct autopen signatures on behalf of Biden, an Oversight Committee official told Fox News.

Tanden, who reportedly said during her testimony that she had limited interactions with Biden in her role, according to sources familiar with her testimony, described an approval process that left her – at least partly – in the dark about who specifically was giving final approval on the decisions to use the automatic signature tool, even though she simultaneously insisted Biden was in charge.

Tanden reportedly testified that to get approval for the use of autopen signatures she would send decision memos to members of Biden’s inner circle. However, she added that she was not aware of what actions or approvals took place between the time she sent the decision memo and the time she received it back with the necessary approval, according to the source familiar.

Blue State Democrat Governors/Mayors say "we will resist ICE"

Chicago Mayor Urges City To ‘Resist’ Looming Trump Immigration Crackdown

This guy is worse than Lori Lightfoot and that's saying something!

Democratic Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson urged city residents on Wednesday to “resist” the Trump administration as it escalates its immigration enforcement operations nationwide, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Speaking at a Wednesday news conference, Johnson condemned President Donald Trump’s decision to deploy federal troops to help control the riots in Los Angeles, which were triggered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in the city. The mayor referred to the federal crackdown as a “war on our culture” (what the hell does that mean?)and urged city residents to take action, the Tribune reported.

“I am counting on all of Chicago to resist in this moment. Because whatever particular vulnerable group is targeted today, another group will be next,” Johnson said, according to the Tribune. “This is a necessary fight for all of us to be able to push back. Whether we use the courts or whether we continue to protest or raise our voices, dissent matters in this moment. Look, [Trump] is abusing his power. We warned people though. You all know we warned people.”

On Thursday, Democratic Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker appeared before the House Oversight Committee, along with Democratic governors of other “sanctuary states,” including Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, to defend their policies.

Biden's doctor subpoenaed

Biden’s Doctor Subpoenaed in Shocking Cover-Up Scandal!

House Oversight Chairman James Comer has taken decisive action by subpoenaing Biden’s White House physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, to testify on June 27 regarding the growing autopen and mental decline scandal that has rocked the Biden administration.

This comes after Dr. O’Connor refused to comply with the Committee’s initial request for testimony, raising serious questions about what he—and the Biden White House—are desperately trying to hide.

Comer’s investigation is zeroing in on whether Dr. O’Connor’s financial ties to the Biden family influenced his medical assessments of Biden’s fitness for office. In a scathing letter accompanying the subpoena, Comer wrote:
“The Committee expressed its interest in whether your financial relationship with the Biden family affected your assessment of former President Biden’s physical and mental fitness to fulfill his duties as President. Given your connections with the Biden family, the Committee sought to understand if you contributed to an effort to hide former President Biden’s fitness to serve from the American people.”
The subpoena also demands testimony from four former Biden aides, including Neera Tanden, Anthony Bernal, Annie Tomasini, and Ashley Williams—all of whom may have played a role in covering up Biden’s alarming cognitive decline.

The liberal media, of course, has downplayed or outright ignored this scandal, proving once again their role as spin doctors for the Democrat establishment.

Oversight Committee to investigate Biden Cover-Up Scandal

Comer targets Biden doctor and four White House aides in congressional probe

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer has launched an aggressive investigation seeking to interview five former Biden administration officials about alleged cover-ups of the former president's cognitive decline.

According to Newsmax, the Kentucky Republican sent letters requesting voluntary transcribed interviews in June with Dr. Kevin O'Connor, former Domestic Policy Council Director Neera Tanden, and three prominent White House aides.

The investigation centers on allegations that these officials were "running the country" while concealing Biden's mental deterioration and use of autopen technology for critical executive decisions.

Comer characterized the situation as an "historic scandal," claiming that key executive actions, including what he termed "sweeping pardons for the Biden Crime Family," were signed using autopen technology despite the former president's alleged diminished capacity.

The committee seeks to determine when Biden's decline began, how far it progressed, and who was making decisions on his behalf during his presidency.

Oversight Committee says, "Pay it yourselves!"

They Flew to Defend an MS-13 Gang Member—Comer Told Them to Pay for It Themselves

House Oversight Chairman James Comer delivered a crushing blow to four far-left Democrat lawmakers who attempted to travel to El Salvador on a taxpayer-funded junket to meet with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gang member and convicted wife-beater.

Reps. Robert Garcia (CA), Maxwell Frost (FL), Yassamin Ansari (AZ), and Maxine Dexter (OR) thought they could pull off a brazen political stunt—until Comer shut them down.

Democrat Governors of Sanctuary States are called to testify

Tim Walz was scared stiff after James Comer threw him this nasty curveball

James Comer has called on Democrat governors of sanctuary states, including Tim Walz, J.B. Pritzker, and Kathy Hochul, to testify before the Oversight Committee about their immigration policies, particularly those obstructing federal law enforcement.

Comer’s aggressive stance includes reminding the Governors that harboring illegal aliens is a federal crime and threatening to withhold federal funding from sanctuary states, a move backed by President Trump.

As sanctuary cities and states are put on the defensive, the Democrats’ support for such policies faces scrutiny, with Republicans pushing for stronger enforcement of federal immigration laws.

Sanctuary states and cities are fighting tooth and nail to stop President Donald Trump from deporting illegal aliens.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) is putting the Democrat Governors of some of the country’s biggest sanctuary states in the hot seat.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, and New York Governor Kathy Hochul were called to testify before the Oversight Committee. The Democrat Governors will be asked to testify on their states’ sanctuary policies.

“Sanctuary jurisdictions and their obstructionist policies hinder the ability of federal law enforcement officers to effectuate safe arrests and remove dangerous criminals from American communities,” Comer wrote Governors. “This threatens Americans’ safety.”
