Three state attorneys general subpoena Fauci over alleged personal profit from COVID guidance

The attorneys general of Florida, West Virginia, and Louisiana have subpoenaed Dr. Anthony Fauci, demanding records tied to whether he used his pandemic authority to line his own pockets.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, West Virginia Attorney General John McCuskey, and Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill issued the joint subpoena requesting documents and communications generated between January 2020 and August of this year.

The probe centers on whether Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the White House's COVID-19 czar, shaped public health guidance not to protect Americans, but to advance his own financial interests.

The subpoena lands days after the Senate Homeland Security Committee voted along party lines to hold Fauci in contempt for refusing to answer questions about prize money he collected, COVID lockdowns, 

Uthmeier says Fauci chased 'book deals, awards, and fortune and fame' while Floridians were harmed Uthmeier laid out the case bluntly during a Wednesday appearance on Fox News' "America's Newsroom."

He told viewers his office is zeroing in on what he called Fauci's "self-dealing", a trail that runs through awards, book contracts, board positions, private foundation partnerships, and professorships the former COVID czar pursued while still directing national health policy.

Clintons Threatened With Contempt in Epstein Probe

GOP House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said he plans to commence contempt of Congress proceedings against Bill and Hillary Clinton for ignoring the committee's subpoenas related to its ongoing probe into the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

In July, a bipartisan House Oversight Subcommittee approved motions to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton and a slew of other high-profile political figures to aid its investigation looking into how the federal government handled Epstein's sex trafficking case.

The subpoenas were then sent out in early August, and the Clinton's were scheduled to testify Dec. 17-18.

"It has been more than four months since Bill and Hillary Clinton were subpoenaed to sit for depositions related to our investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell’s horrific crimes.

Throughout that time, the former president and former secretary of state have delayed, obstructed, and largely ignored the committee staff’s efforts to schedule their testimony," Comer said in a press release issued Friday evening.

Grassley: Biden’s DOJ Issued 197 Subpoenas Targeting Conservative Groups Like TPUSA

Subpoenas obtained through whistleblowers show wide-ranging surveillance of GOP officials.

WASHINGTON — Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed Wednesday that the FBI and former Special Counsel Jack Smith subpoenaed records on hundreds of Republican lawmakers, staffers, and conservative groups — including Turning Point USA and the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) — as part of a sweeping 2022 investigation known as “Arctic Frost.”

At a Capitol Hill press conference, Grassley announced that 197 subpoenas, recently made public, expose a Justice Department probe that extended far beyond its publicly stated scope. The documents show requests for information on over 430 individuals and entities — all reportedly linked to the Republican Party.

Among the organizations named were Turning Point USA and RAGA, along with current and former staff to President Donald Trump, such as Dan Scavino and Peter Navarro.

Video from Grassley’s briefing showed that subpoenas were issued to financial institutions and Apple, seeking communications and metadata tied to Trump and even the “January 6th Prison Choir.”

Clinton's subpoenaed to testify before House Oversight Committee

James Comer calls Bill Clinton 'prime suspect' in Epstein investigation

House Republican James Comer (KY) teased sensational findings about Bill Clinton's ties to Jeffrey Epstein, calling the former president the "prime suspect" in the House Oversight Committee's investigation into Epstein's connections.

"Everybody in America wants to know what went on in Epstein Island, and we’ve all heard reports that Bill Clinton was a frequent visitor there, so he’s a prime suspect to be deposed by the House Oversight Committee," Comer told Newsmax.

Comer's committee has subpoenaed Clinton and his wife Hillary to testify before Congress about Epstein, whose life of crime has been thrust back into the headlines in recent weeks.

While many are skeptical that the Clintons' subpoenas will be enforced, Comer has threatened to hold the Clintons in contempt if they refuse to testify, which could expose them to criminal charges from the Justice Department.

Comer also notes that members of both parties voted to subpoena the Clintons, which could make it harder for them to defy the request.

Whitaker said he hopes House Republicans continue to "go to the mat" on the Hunter Biden probe.

It's really a Joe Biden probe and that's the number one reason there is wide protection and a cover-up regarding Hunter.

On Wednesday, a federal judge ordered additional information be released from a June 24 FBI affidavit to justify the search of former President Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago on Aug. 8.

The newly released portions reveal that the Biden Department of Justice subpoenaed the Trump Organization with a demand for video from the Mar-a-Lago surveillance system cameras located near where the seized documents were stored.

The affidavit, sworn on Aug. 5, demanded The Trump Organization surrender approximately six months of footage, from Jan. 10, 2022, to June 24, 2022.

The Trump legal team requested a “special master” be appointed in an Aug. 22 motion that also “enjoin[ed] further review of seized materials by the Government until a Special Master is appointed,” halting the DOJ’s review of the documents, “require[d] the Government to provide a more detailed Receipt for Property; and require[d] the Government to return any item seized that was not within the scope of the Search Warrant.”

FBI Agents Are Privately Targeting Michigan Trump Electors

On behalf of the January 6th Committee, a “Special Agent” with the National Archives is going door-to-door in Michigan and harassing Trump electors who voted for him in the 2020 election. An elector has been served with a subpoena by the FBI as part of the anti-Trump witch hunt conducted by the January 6th committee. This group continues to harass Trump supporters.

This is most likely a response to the accusations made by Democrats that Trump electors committed “fraud” in 2020 when they presented an alternate slate of electors.

David Stupar is the person who has been calling and threatening electors for Trump in the 2020 election. Agent Stupar of the National Archives is nothing more than a glorified librarian without any significant legal authority.

Peter Navarro subpoened by Jan 6 Select Committee

Former Trump aide Navarro says he has received a grand jury subpoena related to Jan. 6

He claims they have asked for records of “any communications” with the former president.

In a draft lawsuit that Navarro began circulating Monday, the former Trump trade adviser said “two FBI special agents banged loudly on my door in the early morning hours” on May 26 and served him a subpoena signed by Matthew Graves, the U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C.

A grand jury subpoena for Navarro would be the most aggressive known step that prosecutors have taken into Trump’s West Wing related to Jan. 6.
