Elaine Chao's connection to the CCP

Mitch McConnell's wife ran two US Cabinet departments

while secretly holding appointments inside the Chinese Communist Party's primary espionage operation

She never told the Senate a word of it.

Now the Daily Caller has the photographs – and Elaine Chao’s spokesman's excuse for why she didn't disclose is one of the most insulting things you'll ever read.

Elaine Chao – Labor Secretary under Bush, Transportation Secretary under Trump – received at least four Chinese government positions since 2008, according to Daily Caller News Foundation translations of Chinese state media reports.

At least two of those roles were inside the United Front Work Department – the CCP's dedicated influence and espionage arm.

The House Select Committee on the CCP describes United Front as "a unique blend of engagement, influence activities, and intelligence operations that the Chinese Communist Party uses to shape its political environment, including to influence other countries' policy toward the PRC and to gain access to advanced foreign technology."

Former Google Chinese engineer arrested for espionage

Google Engineer Arrested: High-Tech Espionage Plot Uncovered

If you’ve ever wondered how America’s greatest technological breakthroughs end up powering China’s military and surveillance state, look no further than the smiling face of Linwei Ding — or as he tried to rebrand himself, “Leon.”

This former Google engineer just got convicted on 14 counts of espionage and theft of trade secrets, and not for snagging a few PowerPoint slides. We’re talking over 2,000 pages of Google’s top-secret AI blueprints — the kind of stuff that powers next-gen supercomputers, not your Roomba.

Between May 2022 and April 2023, Ding was living the Silicon Valley dream: six-figure salary, access to cutting-edge AI research, and apparently a side hustle in high-tech treason.

While cashing paychecks from Google, he was secretly laying the groundwork to become the CEO of his own AI company in China — and not just any startup. He pitched it to investors by bragging that he could replicate Google’s supercomputing tech. Because nothing says “entrepreneurial spirit” like corporate espionage.

Linwei Ding is facing serious prison time, and he deserves every second. But the bigger question is how many more Dings are still out there — quietly siphoning off American innovation to the highest bidder, all under the noses of corporate executives and federal agencies too distracted or too afraid to ask tough questions.

If we don’t get serious about espionage from the inside, we won’t need to worry about China stealing the future — we’ll just hand it to them, one Google Drive folder at a time and stop the federal bureaucrats from handing out H-1B visas like they’re handing out Halloween candy.

Russian Cyber Attacks on our Infrastructure

FBI Warns of Russian Cyber Hackers Targeting Critical US Infrastructure

Russian hackers have been caught accessing the computer networks of critical U.S. infrastructure

For some of you out there who believe Putin and Russia is not our enemy:

The FBI warned the public on Aug. 20 that Russian hackers had breached computer systems at manufacturing plants, power grids, water treatment facilities, and other critical infrastructure in the United States.

Hackers tied to Russia’s Federal Security Service were caught by the FBI using cyberattacks to get into computer networks targeting a wide range of critical infrastructure and other organizations in the United States and across the world.

By gaining access to the devices over the past year, the hackers were able to steal configuration files for thousands of networking devices associated with U.S. entities across critical infrastructure sectors, the FBI said.

The hackers also used the unauthorized access to look around and collect intelligence in their victims’ networks, which revealed their interest in protocols and applications in control systems.

The Honey Trap Sexpionage

Donald Trump just caught Chinese spies red-handed in a jaw-dropping seduction scheme

The Trump administration’s new ban on U.S. diplomats having romantic relationships with Chinese citizens is a direct response to China’s aggressive espionage tactics, including honeypot operations.

Remember Eric Swalwell back about 2014? “Fang Fang,” is a purported honeytrap who entered the US from China as a college student in 2011 and allegedly spent the next four years wooing lawmakers to get close to sensitive government intelligence — including Swalwell.

China has expanded its espionage efforts, not only using physical seduction schemes but also targeting Americans on platforms like LinkedIn, leading to concerns about national security risks.

This unprecedented diplomatic policy signals a dramatic escalation in counter-intelligence efforts, reflecting the Trump administration’s focus on safeguarding U.S. secrets amid growing threats from Chinese intelligence.

Considering Swalwell was involved with a Chinese spy, perhaps the government needs to include all federal officials.

Assange Free--Gets Plea deal--heading to Australia

Julian Assange Is Free: WikiLeaks Founder Strikes Plea Deal with US

"WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was released from a British prison and on his way to a remote Pacific island on Tuesday where he will plead guilty to a conspiracy charge as part of a plea deal with the U.S. Justice Department, according to court documents.

The agreement will free Assange and end the years' long legal battle over the publication of a trove of classified documents.

Assange was charged by criminal information — which typically signifies a plea deal — with conspiracy to obtain and disclose national defense information, the court documents said.

U.S. charges against Assange stem from one of the largest publications of classified information in American history, which took place during President Barack Obama’s first term.

Starting in late 2009, according to the government, Assange conspired with Chelsea Manning, a military intelligence analyst, to use his WikiLeaks website to disclose tens of thousands of activity reports about the war in Afghanistan, hundreds of thousands of reports about the war in Iraq, hundreds of thousands of State Department cables and assessment briefs of detainees at the U.S. detention camp at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

Espionage against the United States

Say What?! Ex-CIA Officer Admits to Spying for China

A former CIA officer, Alexander Yuk Ching Ma, has pleaded guilty to conspiring with his relative, also a former CIA officer, to provide classified U.S. defense information to China.

This disturbing revelation came to light in a federal court in Honolulu over the past few days, as the Department of Justice announced.

Ma, a naturalized U.S. citizen, was arrested in 2020. He had worked for the CIA from 1982 to 1989, during which he held top-secret clearance and signed multiple non-disclosure agreements.

His betrayal didn’t end with his departure from the agency. Ma and his relative, who also had access to top-secret information, conspired to share sensitive national defense details with Chinese intelligence.

FBI Director Christopher Wray stated in 2020 that the bureau opened a new Chinese counterintelligence case every 10 hours and that over 2,000 China-related investigations were ongoing.

Former NSA employee gets 22 years for espionage

Former NSA Employee recently sentenced To 22 Years In Prison For Attempted Espionage

Jareh Sebastian Dalke, a 32-year-old former National Security Agency (NSA) employee, was sentenced to nearly 22 years in federal prison on Monday for attempting to sell classified information to an undercover FBI agent he believed was a Russian official.

The sentencing hearing in Denver revealed that Dalke was motivated by his personal debt of $237,000 and disillusionment with the federal government.

Dalke sent the agent excerpts of some documents in his possession as a demonstration of his “legitimate access and willingness to share,” prosecutors said, and told the agent that he would sell all the information he had for $85,000.

The documents he shared included information on sensitive US defense capabilities, a threat assessment of a separate unnamed country and information on a US cryptographic program.

Saga of the Judge and the Prosecutor

Smith Files Motion With Judge May Appeal

In a late filing on Tuesday, special counsel Jack Smith criticized the judge presiding over former President Donald Trump’s classified documents case, claiming that her proposed jury instructions contain a “flawed legal premise” that could lead to an appeal.

This development adds a new twist to the ongoing legal battle between Trump and the government, as both sides prepare for a potential trial in July.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, had ordered both the defense and prosecution to submit potential jury instructions based on competing interpretations of two laws relevant to the case.

Her order suggested that Trump may have had a legal right under the Presidential Records Act (PRA) to declare certain records as personal after leaving office, a premise that Smith argues is wrong.

Well of course Jack Smith would say Judge Cannon is wrong. Smith is going after Donald Trump on the Espionage Act which is ludicrous.

NATO Scientist, Spy for China

Top NATO Scientist Busted Helping China

The espionage conviction of top NATO scientist Tarmo Kõuts last week in Estonia gives us an indication of just how far China’s tendrils reach.

The report said “Kõuts pleaded guilty to conducting intelligence activities against the Republic of Estonia on behalf of a foreign state. The charges were one stop short of treason. He was sentenced to three years in prison.

Kõuts was recruited on Chinese territory.

China Stopped Cold by Trump

China Stopped Cold By Trump’s Latest Executive Order

Following through on a threat he made Friday night, President Trump signed two executive orders on Thursday banning the Chinese owners of the popular social media apps TikTok and WeChat from conducting business in the United States. The bans take effect in 45 days.

On Thursday, the U.S. Senate voted unanimously to ban Tik Tok on devices issued by the government and prohibit federal employees from using the social media app.

Along with espionage in the United States, Tik Tok has been accused of censoring content for the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), content the CCP deems politically sensitive, such as the pro-democracy protests in Hong Hong

CNN's Tapper broke the Espionage Act?

Famed Attorney Robert Barnes Tells Jake Tapper of CNN To Lawyer Up

Famed criminal lawyer Robert Barnes says that what CNN’s tapper did is worse than what Julian Assange is accused of. Although reporters are exempt in many ways, they are not permitted to break the Espionage Act. To make matters worse for Tapper is that James Clapper relayed information from the fake Hillary dossier to Tapper, so he can’t deny it.

Will James Comey go to Prison?

Probable Cause Exists That Comey Committed Criminal Espionage Says Expert

Lawyer and legal expert, Robert Barnes, says there is probable cause that James Comey committed criminal espionage against President Trump and that charge carries a 10-year prison sentence. When Comey left the FBI, he took his memos with him.

The problem is those memos belong to the government. He also said it doesn’t matter if the Justice Department had a chance to classify them yet because the moment he wrote about his meetings with the president, they were automatically classified.

Chelsea Manning's ad for Campaign Senate Run

Chelsea Elizabeth Manning] (born Bradley Edward Manning, December 17, 1987) is a former United States Army soldier who was convicted by court-martial in July 2013, of violations of the Espionage Act and other offenses, after disclosing to WikiLeaks nearly 750,000 classified, or unclassified but sensitive, military and diplomatic documents.

She was sentenced to 35 years but to serve her time at Fort Leavenworth but on January 17, 2017, President Barack Obama commuted Manning's sentence to nearly seven years of confinement dating from her arrest on May 27, 2010 by military authorities. [Wikipedia]

If you notice, Obama commuted her sentence right before he was going to leave office. He also has issued more commutations than the past thirteen presidents combined.

In other words, Manning is a freaking embittered traitor. I don't think she will attract too many fans with this ad. Who is behind her campaign?

Espionage? - Former CIA officer

On that long list of things that President Trump loves to do, hunting swamp critters is his second favorite, just behind building magnificent skyscrapers. He just caught himself a big’n.

A former CIA officer sold top secret and other classified documents to Chinese intelligence officials, according to charges filed Thursday in Alexandria federal court.[Powdered Wig]

How many countries conspired against Trump?

John Hinderaker at Powerline Blog has some astute analysis:
So just about every Western intelligence service was collaborating with the Obama administration in trying to elect Hillary Clinton. Yet, amazingly enough, they failed.
The blindingly obvious point that the Guardian tries to obscure is that the combined assets of all of these agencies failed to find any evidence of collaboration between the Trump campaign and Russia. We know this, because the Democrats have pulled out all the stops. Both before the election, and especially after the election, they have leaked furiously to try to discredit President Trump. If there were any evidence of collusion between Trump (or even obscure, minor “advisers” like Carter Page) and Russia, there would have been nothing else in the Washington Post or the New York Times for the past five months. But they have nothing.
What was really going on seems clear. Everyone involved in this story thought that Hillary Clinton was sure to win the election.
Read about it...and how Obama used the British intelligence services to spy on Trump. And guess what? Nothing was found.

Was Julian Assange Snatched?

Is it just a rumor or could it be true?  After four years of being holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London,  his Internet access was stopped this past Sunday by Ecuador directly after damaging e-mails were leaked involving top Democrats and Hillary's speeches to Goldman Sachs. With John Kerry's recent visit there, it could very well be true. Deals are cut all the time by political operatives in high places. The United States government would like to try him for espionage. Sweden sure wants him back regarding the rape allegation.

"Assange captured? The Internet is swirling that Julian Assange has been captured and sent on a rendition flight to Charlotte, North Carolina aboard a United States military plane known as the Guantanamo Bay Express. [Actually the plane in question landed at Smithfield Aire Base in Charlotte, N.C.]

WikiLeaks announced that Julian Assange’s internet access had been cut by “a state actor” late Sunday night, prompting fears for his safety. A small crowd of supporters gathered outside the embassy in London in order to protect him by providing witness to any foul play.

People were on edge already because of US Secretary of State John Kerry’s presence in the UK at the time, and because of some cryptic tweets WikiLeaks sent out earlier in the day, rumored to be keys to a ‘dead man switch’ activated by Assange’s death or detention."

The Creep, Assange, speaks

Seven whistleblowers, and that description is used very lightly here, have been prosecuted under the Espionage Act during Obama's presidency.

According to ABC News, "Since Mr Obama took office in 2009, charges have been laid against seven current or former federal government employees or contractors. This is one area of agreement with Obama.
  1. Edward Snowden, 2013
  2. John Kiriakou, 2012
  3. Jeffrey Sterling, 2010
  4. Bradley Manning, 2010
  5. Thomas Drake, 2010
  6. Stephen Kim, 2010
  7. Shamai Leibowitz, 2009
In each case, the charges were brought under the Espionage Act of 1917."

On November 28, 2010, Julian Assange's WikiLeaks began releasing some of the 251,000 U.S. diplomatic cables in their possession given to them by Manning, of which over 53 percent are listed as unclassified, 40 percent are "Confidential" and just over six percent are classified "Secret.

Looking obliquely sideways

China is known to be targeting U.S. missile defenses and is also developing its own missile defenses. China is now capable of jamming our communications defenses information of which was given to them by a US spy who was convicted of passing intelligence and now in prison for four years...not long enough. In another case, millions in trade secrets were handed over to Chinese.

Read more... and then draw your own conclusions why a Bradley Manning/Julian Assange or an Ed Snowden are no heroes for exposing American secrets. These are not some non-essential "leakers" or "whistleblowers."  Snowden leaked a secret NSA program and in the Manning/Assange affair, top secret videos, incident reports from the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, information on detainees at Guantanamo and thousands of State Department cables were leaked to the enemy.

What in hell is going on with some people who live in the greatest country on Earth?  Where did all these skewed moralists come from?
