Graham Platner pays influencers to promote him

Graham Platner's 'grassroots' Maine Senate campaign paid tens of thousands to firm that pays influencers to promote him

Democrat Graham Platner has built his Maine Senate campaign on the promise of grassroots authenticity, no corporate PACs, just ordinary people powering a populist challenge to Republican incumbent Susan Collins.

But his own campaign finance disclosures tell a different story. Since September, Platner has paid at least $36,437.94 to a Democratic consulting firm that maintains a stable of social media influencers who promote candidates and causes for pay, and at least one of those influencers has repeatedly urged his audience to donate to Platner without disclosing any financial connection.

The Washington Free Beacon reviewed Platner's FEC spending records and found the payments went to Be a Good Influence LLC, a Louisville, Kentucky-based firm commonly known as Good Influence. The company describes itself as "the trusted partner for measurable creator-led campaigns" and says it "bundles elite news and cause-focused online creators together to create a network effect" for its clients.

The gap between Platner's public image and his spending habits is the kind of thing voters in a purple state like Maine deserve to know about, and the kind of thing mainstream outlets have so far failed to report.

Platner built his campaign on the claim that he answers to ordinary people, not moneyed interests. His own FEC filings show he's paying a professional operation to manufacture the appearance of organic enthusiasm. If that's grassroots, the word has lost all meaning.

The New King of Midterm Spending

The Biggest Donor in the 2026 Midterms Is Not George Soros

George Soros has owned American elections for thirty years – until this cycle.

A Silicon Valley billionaire nobody was watching just moved more money than Soros, Musk, and every Democratic megadonor combined. What he's buying with it affects every race on your ballot in November.

Andreessen Horowitz – the venture capital firm co-founded by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz – is now the single largest known political donor in the 2026 midterm cycle.

The New York Times confirmed it from federal filings. Over $115 million deployed so far.

That puts Andreessen ahead of Soros at nearly $103 million, Elon Musk at $85 million, and Jeff Yass at $81.8 million.

“Get the f— out of here” he tells Swalwell.

Rep. Eric Swalwell Resigns Amid Sexual Assault Allegations After Billionaire Donor Demands $1M Back

Last week, one of California’s rising Democratic stars watched his carefully constructed world collapse in spectacular fashion, abandoned not just by colleagues but by the billionaire benefactor who once called him family.

Stephen Cloobeck, the Diamond Resorts founder, had invested heavily in what he believed was a winning political bet. Rep. Eric Swalwell wasn’t just another politician to Cloobeck—he was a “little brother,” a frequent guest at his 9,700 square foot Beverly Hills mansion, and the recipient of more than $1 million in donations for his gubernatorial campaign.

When the New York Post recently asked Cloobeck about rumors swirling around Swalwell’s behavior with female staffers, he scoffed. The congressman was family, after all.

Then came the allegations. Within days, over 50 former staffers called for his resignation — funny how courage becomes contagious once the cameras are rolling — and the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office announced an investigation.
“I am no longer supporting Eric,” the Diamond Resorts founder told the outlet. “Fcking tell everyone I’m a libertarian. Fck you, Democrat Party. I’m a libertarian now.”
Cloobeck confronted Swalwell directly, telling him he’d “busted the trust” before delivering the final verdict: “Get the f— out of here.”

And Swalwell ended his career just like that.

A lot of people got rich on the back of donors trying to stop Trump

Democrat Donor Says Harris Campaign ‘Legally’ Stole Funds

We would be hard-pressed to remember any other campaign that raised the amount of money that Harris raised over only three months.

Even though she was a late entry, Harris raised a staggering $1.6 billion via all outlets for her campaign.

She clearly helped out her friends with some ridiculous price tags, and now, at least one Democrat donor is unhappy. Legally Stealing.

When reports surfaced that the Harris campaign had paid Harpo Productions, which is owned by Oprah Winfrey, an estimated $2.5 million for her town hall, it was pretty clear Harris’ buddies were taking advantage of her huge war chest.

Even with all that money, however, it was reported that the campaign was in the hole of about $20 million after the election was over.

She believed the fake polls and thought she would win thus never getting caught.

Kamala Harris never had a chance

Harris Insiders Admit She Never Had a Path to Victory

Headed down the stretch of the election, Kamala Harris acted as though she had the election in the bag. Internally, however, her advisers knew she was doomed, according to local reports.

They said they were “hopeful,” but all knew she really had no path to win the election...Putting on a Front.

The amount of money that Harris raised over three months was staggering, topping off at more than $1.6 billion across all outlets. Generally speaking, in the past, we have seen that the bigger bankroll typically wins elections.

After all, George Soros proved it time and again by flooding local elections with millions to place his operatives.

This time, however, regardless of the money spent, all Harris seemed to do was lose ground from the moment she announced her candidacy.

And she fooled her supporters with fake polls.

Fraudulent Political Contributions

SMURF THIS! Legal action looks to kill fraudulent political donation scheme

Smurfing with campaign donations has become an epidemic in America, probably involving tens of thousands of victims and millions, likely hundreds of millions of dollars.

It involves a criminal using someone else's identity in order to make a political contribution.

Such operators can, through the schemes, direct massive amounts of money to individual candidates and causes without doing a lot of reporting and documentation.

Star investigative reporter James O'Keefe of O'Keefe Media Group, has documented the problem:

Democrat took campaign donations from dead person

Sen. Sherrod Brown took campaign donations from dead woman

Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown's campaign has been caught doing something that is generally frowned upon. Brown's campaign accepted donations from a woman who had been dead for months, records show.

How often do these things happen?

This isn't likely to help Brown's reputation, and he is already locked in a tight fight for reelection with Republican Bernie Moreno ho got Trump's endorsement.

Despite the small amount, it is illegal. Brown's campaign knew they couldn't accept donations from dead people, yet it happened anyway.

If you believe this was all just one big misunderstanding, then I've got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

Mellon Bank Heir gives gigantic contribution to Trump

Reclusive Billionaire Makes Massive Political Contribution Following Trump’s Conviction

One of the largest single disclosed gifts ever

"A reclusive billionaire from a storied American family with a legacy dating back to the Gilded Age has made one of the largest political contributions in the history of American politics.

Timothy Mellon, heir to the Mellon banking fortune, made a $50 million contribution to the pro-Trump super PAC, Make America Great Again Inc. He has also donated to Robert F. Kennedy's campaign.

But Mr. Mellon's $50 million gift will significantly help pro-Trump forces narrow the financial advantage that President Biden and his allies have enjoyed so far.

Miriam Adelson, the casino billionaire and widow of Sheldon G. Adelson, who died in 2021, has also made plans to fund a pro-Trump super PAC with at least as much money as the $90 million that her family gave in the 2020 campaign, although much of the cash has yet to arrive."

Biden Fundraising

Biden campaign releases fundraising report

President Biden’s campaign raised $51 million in April and has $192 million on hand as it enters June, the campaign announced Monday.

The $51 million haul falls short of the Trump campaign’s $76 million fundraising total for the month of April. But Biden campaign officials touted their support among grassroots donors and its organizational advantages over the Trump campaign.

Biden's delusional campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement--
“April’s haul reflects strong, consistent grassroots enthusiasm for reelecting Joe and Kamala, and is giving us the resources necessary to invest in opening offices, hiring organizers and communicating across our battleground states in order to mobilize the coalition of voters who will decide this election.” .

Famous Dem Busted W/ Hundreds Of Thousands Of STOLEN Dollars

Sen. Bernie Sanders quietly funneled $200,000 from his campaign's coffers to his wife's nonprofit institute

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders quietly funneled $200,000 from his campaign’s coffers to his wife’s nonprofit institute, which appears to do very little work and pays six figures’ worth of compensation to her son, Fox News Digital has found.

The independent senator’s committee cut two $100,000 checks to the Sanders Institute for reported charitable contributions in January and March, its Federal Election Commission records show. The expenditures are the largest from the Sanders campaign to any entity this election cycle.

Some have suggested that this could be a way for Sanders to funnel money away from public scrutiny in order to benefit himself personally or his family members without being held accountable for it later on down the road.

Overall, socialist Bernie Sander’s decision to transfer $200,000 from his campaign funds into an unknown non-profit institute run by his family members raises serious ethical issues which cannot go unanswered without further investigation.

Shifty got caught!

Adam Schiff Finally CAUGHT! Involved in Major Campaign Finance Scandal

Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff, the lying weasel that has spent the last seven years plus trying to “get Trump,” has just been caught in a campaign finance scandal that exposes him as a MASSIVE fraud.

Schiff has served 12 terms as a House representative and now he’s aiming for more power, running for a Senate seat on a platform of supporting “local causes.”

However, an investigation conducted by Politico, of all outlets, just uncovered that the Democrat has been funneling millions of dollars into defense contractors after they have made political donations to his campaigns.

Soros' Open Foundation giving to pro Biden communist group

Discovery Shows Shocking Backer For Biden Social Media Campaign

Joe Biden has welcomed a shocking ally on his platform to success—George Soros who wants to bring down capitalism and so does Joe. We know Democrats will do anything to win!

This month, the Open Foundation, supported by the philanthropist and architect of the U.S. economic system, contributed $5.5 million to a pro-Biden TikTok campaign developed by Gen Z for Change, a nonprofit organization made up of over 500 influencers.

In March of 2022, the Democratic National Committee funded Palette, a talent management firm, to cover the costs of eight influencers who visited the White House for a meeting with the President. The outreach from the Biden campaign later resulted in a second invitation to the White House when the President signed the Inflation Reduction Act in August of that year.

Gen Z for Change was founded in 2021 as a 501c4 organization and received $300,000 from Accelerate Action Inc., funded by Soros’ Open Foundation in the range of 2020 and 2021. The TikTok account @GenZforChange, formerly known as @TikTokforBiden, has over 1.7 million followers and posts discussing issues such as immigration reform, gun violence, and climate change.

Shady dealings and corruption lurk in the shadows of politics.

Leonardo DiCaprio Just Dropped A Thirty Million Dollar Bombshell On Barack Obama…

Well, you’re not going to believe this! Hollywood big shot Leonardo DiCaprio found himself in a federal courtroom, spilling the beans about a wild money-laundering plot.

Apparently, this Malaysian financier guy, Jho Low, was working with none other than Prakazrel “Pras” Michel from the Fugees. Their goal? Sneak a heap of cash into former President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. How sneaky is that?

The New York Post reported that Low allegedly teamed up with Pras Michel to funnel the cash to Obama’s campaign. Now, that’s a big no-no, because federal election law says foreigners can’t donate to US campaigns. Michel is also accused of pocketing tens of millions of dollars to lobby the government on behalf of Low and the Chinese government as a whole.

And get this: a lot of that cash was straight-up stolen! Low is accused of swiping a jaw-dropping $4.5 billion from Malaysia’s state investment fund, 1MDB.

The OMAR Act

Republican Introduces Bill To Prohibit Campaign Compensation For Candidate Spouses

What a perfect name for this bill

Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) introduced the Oversight for Members And Relatives (OMAR) Act Thursday, named after progressive “Squad” Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) to prohibit campaign compensation from certain committees from going to candidates' spouses.

“Regardless of political party, we should all be able to agree that running for political office shouldn't be part of a family enrichment scheme,” Tiffany said in a press release shared exclusively with Fox News Digital.

“Public officials should serve their constituents; they shouldn't be serving up a plate of campaign cash to their spouse,” he continued. “The OMAR Act will help restore public confidence in Congress and prevent politicians from pocketing their campaign funds.”

The OMAR Act would also require the disclosure of campaign compensation to candidates' immediate family members.

Charlie Crist, Begging

Crist Begs for Campaign Cash From Those Devastated by Hurricane Ian

“Florida Democrat gubernatorial candidate @CharlieCrist is specifically targeting Floridians who suffered damage from Hurricane Ian to ask them for donations to his campaign. Awful. How do you look at people who lost everything and ask them for money?”

Aside from blaming DeSantis for factors largely outside his purview, Crist posts the link directly under this message, inviting the reader to “share your experience here.” But in submitting a story, readers are necessarily redirected to the donation page. A more accurate caption might have been ‘share whatever is left of your savings here.’

Newsom's In-Laws like Ron DeSantis

Trust linked to Gavin Newsom's in-laws made contribution to DeSantis PAC

A family trust run by Kenneth Siebel made a $5,000 to the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC, records show

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been a vocal critic of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, in recent weeks, but Newsom's in-laws seem to approve of the popular Republican.

According to contribution records on the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC website, the Siebel Family Revocable Trust made a $5,000 contribution on April 6, 2022.

That trust is run by Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, the parents of Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel, records obtained by Fox News Digital show.

Last week, Newsom pledged $100,000 to the campaign of DeSantis' Democratic opponent, Rep. Charlie Crist, who previously served as Florida's governor.

I wonder how that marriage is going.
