Patel Announces Operation New Dawn

FBI Director Kash Patel Announces ‘Operation New Dawn’

in Historic Sweep of 300+ Criminals in Chicago

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Operation New Dawn after federal authorities arrested more than 300 suspects in a sweeping 60-day crackdown across the Chicago area.

The historic operation also recovered 24 children, many reported kidnapped or missing, as President Trump’s law enforcement team vows to keep pressure on violent criminal networks.

Patel said the operation marked a major show of force against crime in one of America’s biggest cities. He described it as a “whole-of-government approach” under President Trump’s leadership.

Lori Lightfoot challenges Commander Border Control

Commander U.S, Border Control

Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot tells Border Patrol official his 'day of reckoning is fast approaching'

'Don’t call it a comeback; we’re gonna be here for years,' senior Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino wrote on X

As senior U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino continued to suggest that the agency will be in Chicago "for years," former Windy City Mayor Lori Lightfoot told the federal official that his "day of reckoning is fast approaching."

"If you think we’re done with Chicago, you’d better check yourself before you wreck yourself," Bovino, commander of Operation At Large in California, wrote in a post on X.

"Don’t call it a comeback; we’re gonna be here for years," he added in a play on lyrics in LL Cool J's song, "Mama Said Knock You Out," which plays in the background of a video montage included in the post.

Supreme Court approves Anarchy in Chicago

"Panic stricken Governor Pritzker says that crime is under control, when in fact it is just the opposite. He is an incompetent Governor who should call me for HELP," Trump posted Tuesday on his Truth Social media platform.

Supreme Court Denies Trump’s National Guard Deployment to Chicago in 6-3 Ruling

There’s a sickness spreading through America’s great cities. It’s a disease of lawlessness, cultivated by progressive politicians who are perfectly happy to watch from afar as civilization crumbles.

For years, hardworking Americans have seen radicals and rioters given free rein, knowing that local authorities, paralyzed by the woke mob, would do absolutely nothing.

This managed decline has left millions of citizens feeling abandoned, wondering if anyone in power still has the backbone to enforce the law. When a president finally decides to act—to protect federal property and personnel from the encroaching chaos—you would think our institutions would support that fundamental duty.

You’d hope the nation’s highest court could at least tell the difference between a protest and a riot. Spoiler alert: that was too much to ask.
The Supreme Court has denied a bid from the Trump administration to deploy the National Guard to Illinois. The emergency request from the administration was filed in response to an October ruling by US District Judge April Perry.

The unsigned order stated, “At this preliminary stage, the Government has failed to identify a source of authority
With that single, sterile sentence, the Supreme Court didn’t just issue a ruling; it signed a permission slip for anarchy. In a 6-3 decision that was stunning—if you still believe the Court is above politics—the justices chose to betray President Trump.

They sided with the forces of chaos and robbed him of the authority needed to restore order in a state that was actively defying federal law. The decision tells every liberal governor that they can foster lawlessness, and the Supreme Court will have their back.

Woman stabbed at Chicago Train Station

Chicago: 27-Year-Old Woman Stabbed at Train Station

Chicago police are on the hunt for a man who they say stabbed a woman in the chest without provocation on a train platform near the University of Illinois Chicago Saturday night.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman, was sitting on a bench at the train station when he allegedly approached her and plunged the knife into her chest at the UIC-Halsted Blue Line platform.

The suspect, described as a Black male who stands about 6 feet tall and weighs between 160 and 180 pounds, left on foot, headed northbound on South Morgan Street, according to city police.

According to Homeland Security officials, Customs and Border Protection's Operation Midway Blitz campaign has resulted in a 16% drop in murders, 35% reduction in shootings and 20% fall in transit crime in the Windy City since it kicked off in the second week of September.

Pritzker Defends murder rate

FOX Anchor Confronts Illinois Governor Over Murder Statistic He Denied

Pritzker is a Democrat, so can anyone expect less?

Fox News anchor Bret Baier pressed Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker on Wednesday over Chicago’s murder rate, challenging the governor’s claim that the city is not among the most dangerous in the country.

During the exclusive Fox News interview, Baier presented data showing Chicago at the top of the list of America’s most populous cities when ranked by murder rate. He asked, “Why does Chicago have the highest murder rate of all the big cities?”

Pritzker immediately disagreed, responding that “we are not in the top 30, in terms of our murder rate,” and went on to say that violent crime has dropped statewide over the past four years.

Baier then held up a graphic and pushed back. He said Chicago is “number one over Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Los Angeles, New York, and San Diego,” directly contradicting the governor’s statement. Pritzker insisted Chicago’s murder rate has been reduced significantly, saying it “has been cut in half over the last four years, and every year, it’s gone down by double digits.”

The exchange grew tense as Baier clarified, “No, no, no, these are murders,” making it clear he was referring specifically to homicide data, not broader violent crime metrics. Pritzker tried to shift the focus, responding, “I’m explaining to you, our murder rate has been cut in half and –– very importantly Bret –– you gotta hear this: very importantly, we’ve been doing the things that are necessary to bring crime down.”

According to Wirepoints, an Illinois-based research group, Chicago recorded 573 murders in 2024 — the highest total of any major U.S. city that year.

Bret Baier's interview with J.B. Pritzker

Bret Baier Drops Truth Bomb on Chicago’s Murder Crisis, Humiliates Lying Mayor

In a stunning and revealing moment on live television, the facade of the liberal media and its preferred politicians was brutally dismantled.

Governor J.B. Pritzker of Illinois, a prominent Democratic figure, thought he could step onto the FOX News set and disseminate his usual, fact-free talking points regarding the catastrophic crime wave his policies have helped foster in Chicago.

He was in for a severe and immediate reality check from a prepared and principled journalist, Brett Baier, who served the truth to the governor without apology. This was not the safe space of a CNN or MSNBC panel; this was a forum where accountability still exists.

Pritzker, attempting to deflect from his city’s abysmal record, embarked on a classic bloviating monologue completely untethered from the facts on the ground. He arrogantly presumed that the American people would simply accept his hollow reassurances.

The governor, with the typical condescension of the leftist elite, attempted to paint a picture of progress and safety that anyone with a newspaper subscription knows is a complete and utter fiction. He brazenly attempted to mislead the public, a tactic that has become the hallmark of the Democratic Party under the weak leadership of figures like Joe Biden.

Chicago's policies allowing Illegals to commit horrendous crimes

Illegal aliens sparked riot after ramming attack on Border Patrol SUV in Chicago

Illegal immigrants were behind the attack on a Border Patrol convoy that sparked a dangerous car chase and riot in Chicago, officials confirmed Wednesday while decrying the “growing and dangerous” trend of violence against federal agents.

Venezuelan nationals Yonder Enrique Tenefe-Perez and Luis Gerardo Pirela-Ramirez, who are in the US illegally, were identified as the suspects accused of ramming into a Border Patrol SUV driving through Chicago’s Southeast Side Tuesday morning, the Department of Homeland Security told Fox News.

The pair were arrested soon after the alleged attack, but not before it spread chaos across the neighborhood and culminated in a car wreck and a mob of protesters hurling objects at the federal agents.

Police arrived to help the federal agents and tear gas was eventually fired into the crowd, and law enforcement was able to regain control of the situation.

“As Border Patrol arrested the subjects and attempted to secure the scene a crowd began to form and eventually turned hostile and eventually crowd control measures were used,” the DHS said.

Obama Foundation not raising necessary funds for his Library

Obama Center's reserve fund shortfall raises taxpayer concerns

Amid soaring costs and unfulfilled promises, the Obama Presidential Center project in Chicago has sparked fears that taxpayers could be left footing a massive bill.

The Obama Foundation, tasked with building the center in Jackson Park, has deposited just $1 million into a pledged $470 million reserve fund meant to shield taxpayers, while project costs have surged from $330 million to at least $850 million, raising concerns about financial accountability, as Fox News reports.

In 2018, the Obama Foundation secured a deal with the city of Chicago to build the Obama Presidential Center on 19.3 acres of public land in Jackson Park under a 99-year "use agreement" for just $10.

This arrangement granted the foundation control over the historic park site on the city’s South Side. The agreement included a commitment to establish a $470 million endowment to protect taxpayers from future financial burdens.

Only $1 million -- equivalent to 0.21% of the pledged amount -- had been deposited into the endowment fund. That figure has not increased since the groundbreaking in September 2021.

ICE facility near Chicago Blocked by Crazy Protesters

Activism, Uncensored: A Return to ICE Protests in Illinois

ICE now has a fence outside its facility in suburban Chicago, but the demonstrations are intensifying

Protests outside an ICE facility in Broadview, Ill., have intensified since the agency launched Operation Midway Blitz three weeks ago.

“This ICE operation will target the criminal illegal aliens who flocked to Chicago and Illinois because they knew Governor Pritzker and his sanctuary policies would protect them and allow them to roam free on American streets,” says an ICE press release in announcing the operation.

The Windy Violent City, Chicago

Chicago Weekend Bloodbath: 54 Shot, 7 Killed

Bodies are piling up on the streets of Chicago over Labor Day weekend – with 54 shot, including seven killed, as President Trump and Illinois Gov. Pritzker spar over sending the National Guard into the Windy City.

At least 32 separate shootings occurred in Chicago between Friday evening and noon on Monday, according to a review of police incident reports by ABC News.

Just hours after Trump posted a message on Truth Social on Saturday criticizing Pritzker’s handling of crime in the city, at least seven people were shot around 11:10 p.m. in Bronzeville. All of the people are expected to be okay.

Trump called the governor “weak and pathetic” for dismissing the need for a National Guard presence in the Windy City in the social media post.

“National Guard troops or any kind of troops on the streets of an American city don’t belong unless there is an insurrection, unless there is truly an emergency – and there is not,” Pritzker said of the situation in Chicago.

He also vowed to sue the Trump administration if troops are indeed deployed.

Johnson said in 2024, “We need 200 more detectives, because we need to solve crime… that’s why on day one, we’re going to move towards promoting and hiring 200 more detectives.” This has not happened and the number of police officers is at or near record lows.

Expanded ICE operations vs. National Guard deployment to Chicago

Trump Sending More ICE Resources to Chicago

The Trump administration will expand its Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Chicago, despite an executive order from the city’s mayor condemning federal intervention in local law enforcement operations.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the administration’s plans during a Sunday interview on CBS News’ “Face the Nation.”

“We’ve already had ongoing operations with ICE in Chicago and throughout Illinois and other states, making sure that we’re upholding our laws, but we do intend to add more resources to those operations,” Noem said.

Moderator Ed O’Keefe asked Noem if the plan would also involve National Guard troops, mirroring similar efforts over the past few months in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles. Noem declined to elaborate, saying, “That always is a prerogative of President [Donald] Trump and his decision. I won’t speak to the specifics of the operations that are planned in other cities.”

In a Truth Social post on Saturday, Trump threatened to mobilize federal forces in Illinois, calling Gov. JB Pritzker “weak and pathetic.”

Chicago mayor says "NO" to the Federal Government to help curb out-of-control Crime

Chicago Mayor Signs Order to Block Possible Troop Deployment

Mayor Brandon Johnson directed city agencies not to aid federal immigration crackdowns and urged President Donald Trump to ’stand down' from sending forces

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has signed an executive order authorizing “immediate, drastic action” to respond to what he said could be a looming military deployment by the Trump administration to the city.

“I am signing an executive order that directs all of our City’s departments to protect Chicagoans and not collaborate with federal overreach,” Johnson said in an Aug. 30 post on X.

At an Aug. 30 press conference, Johnson added that his order “affirms” that Chicago police will not “collaborate with military personnel or civil immigration enforcement.”

The mayor’s order bars city police from assisting federal agents in immigration or joint patrols, calls on federal officers to identify themselves and wear body cameras, and directs city departments to explore legal and legislative steps to resist federal actions. It also urges President Donald Trump to “stand down” from deploying troops.

“We will not have our police officers, who are working hard every single day to drive down crime, deputized to do traffic stops and check stops for the president,” he said, adding that, “we do not want to see tanks on our streets.”

Blue State Democrat Governors/Mayors say "we will resist ICE"

Chicago Mayor Urges City To ‘Resist’ Looming Trump Immigration Crackdown

This guy is worse than Lori Lightfoot and that's saying something!

Democratic Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson urged city residents on Wednesday to “resist” the Trump administration as it escalates its immigration enforcement operations nationwide, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Speaking at a Wednesday news conference, Johnson condemned President Donald Trump’s decision to deploy federal troops to help control the riots in Los Angeles, which were triggered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in the city. The mayor referred to the federal crackdown as a “war on our culture” (what the hell does that mean?)and urged city residents to take action, the Tribune reported.

“I am counting on all of Chicago to resist in this moment. Because whatever particular vulnerable group is targeted today, another group will be next,” Johnson said, according to the Tribune. “This is a necessary fight for all of us to be able to push back. Whether we use the courts or whether we continue to protest or raise our voices, dissent matters in this moment. Look, [Trump] is abusing his power. We warned people though. You all know we warned people.”

On Thursday, Democratic Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker appeared before the House Oversight Committee, along with Democratic governors of other “sanctuary states,” including Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and New York Gov. Kathy Hochul, to defend their policies.

Dr. Phil with Border Czar in Chicago

Dr Phil is with Border Czar Tom Homan in Chicago conducting raids

Their first was a convicted sex offender and internet predator from Thailand.

Jim Acosta and Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul (D) were furious that McGraw was allowed to ride along with ICE.

“You mentioned Dr. Phil, the daytime talk show host. I did want to ask you about that because he is now apparently joining in on Trump’s immigration crackdown or getting access to it,” Acosta said. “He filmed at the ICE command center in Chicago, even questioned a detainee with Tom Homan, the head of ICE.”

The story for Acosta was not that Chicago allowed an illegal alien who is a child predator to walk the streets because of the city’s sanctuary law.

He was upset that it was exposed that this was going on, and especially that it was exposed with Dr. Phil’s help.

“Do you know why Dr. Phil, a TV personality, is getting involved in all of this, getting all this access? What’s going on?” Costa asked Raoul.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson says, "Not my job"

Chicago’s Dem Mayor Defends Not Arresting Violent Sex Offenders, ICE Cleaned Up

In a stark confrontation with the media, Chicago’s Democratic Mayor Brandon Johnson seemed unconcerned when confronted about a sex offender living in the city.

This individual was apprehended by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) amid an immigration enforcement operation initiated by the Trump administration.

ICE’s actions followed executive orders signed by former President Donald Trump, which sought to bolster immigration enforcement—a stark contrast to the policies rolled back by President Joe Biden in 2021.

These Democratic policies undid several key initiatives from Trump’s first term. Mayor Johnson, known for his criticisms of ICE’s operations, firmly argued that city officials weren’t responsible for apprehending the sex offender.

Democrat heir busted

Grandson of famous Democratic Chicago mayor challenges conviction at Supreme Court

An heir to a powerful Chicago political family went before the Supreme Court this week to challenge his conviction for bank fraud.

Patrick Daley Thompson, a former city alderman, was sentenced to four months in prison for lying about his taxes and making false statements to bank regulators. He is the grandson of former Democratic party boss and mayor Richard J. Daley, who was the mayor of Chicago from 1955 to 1976.

The case pivots on what counts as a "false" statement under a federal law that makes it illegal to influence regulators like the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

In 2017, the FDIC shut down an insolvent Chicago bank with ties to Thompson, Washington Federal, and hired a loan servicer to collect the money owed. Multiple people tied to the bank were charged in an embezzlement conspiracy.

Thompson had taken out three separate loans totaling $219,000 plus interest, but the bank never demanded repayment, and Thompson only made one payment of $389.58 on the initial $110,000 loan. Prosecutors claimed during Thompson's trial that the bank gave him favorable treatment, something his lawyers denied.

When the FDIC tried to collect Thompson's debts, he claimed that he borrowed $110,000, and he disputed the full $219,000 amount. Eventually, he settled with the government and paid the $219,000 principal - only to be charged later with making false statements.

Chicago Residents Protest Illegal Invasion

Outrage erupts as Chicago residents protest more Spending for illegals

The recent city council meeting in Chicago turned chaotic as outraged residents took a stand against Mayor Brandon Johnson’s proposal to allocate more funds for illegal immigrants in the city.

In a public forum, attendees slammed the decision, calling out the mayor for prioritizing the needs of illegals over American citizens.

The meeting quickly turned chaotic as residents voiced their concerns and frustrations. “He wants to pull a $40 million line of credit and put the city in even more debt,” one resident exclaimed. “It’s your fault, because you gave half of the money to illegals.” These sentiments were echoed by many others in attendance, who accused the city officials of neglecting their own citizens in favor of accommodating illegal immigrants.

It’s a valid concern, considering the fact that state and city officials have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on providing housing, clothes, and food to over 35,000 migrants who were transported to Chicago. This is money that could have been used to address the issues of homelessness and poverty within the city.

But instead, Mayor Johnson and his administration have chosen to prioritize the needs of illegal immigrants, causing frustration and anger among Chicago residents. “You caused all this money to go to illegal immigrants,” another resident exclaimed. “Anything that you all pass is not genuine.”

Chicago Gangs fed up with Illegal Ciminals causing havoc in Chicago

Chicago Gang Members Issue Dire Warning Over Venezuelans in Shocking Twist

In a twist no one saw coming, Chicago gang members are sounding alarms about the dangers posed by the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, according to a New York Post interview.

Former gang leader Tyrone Muhammad, now head of Ex-Cons for Community and Social Change, didn’t mince words about foreign gangs wreaking havoc on Chicago’s South Side—blaming the Biden-Harris administration for the crisis.

“When the black gangs here get fed up with the illegalities and criminal activities of these migrants or non-citizens, the city of Chicago is going to go up in flames and there will be nothing the National Guard or the government can do about it when the bloodshed hits the streets. It’ll be blacks against migrants,” Muhammad said.
