Albany woman charged in alleged ISIS-inspired Capitol bombing plot after FBI sting with three undercover operatives

Federal agents arrested a 35-year-old Albany woman on charges she plotted to bomb the New York State Capitol for ISIS, a case built over weeks by three undercover FBI operatives who posed as terrorist allies and handed her a disabled explosive device.

Jessica Bowie stepped out of a meeting on August 19 believing she had just taken possession of a working bomb. FBI agents were waiting. 

The arrest, the Washington Examiner reported, capped an operation in which three paid FBI sources, all with histories the bureau described as "credible and reliable", had spent weeks drawing out Bowie's intentions, supplying her with inert weapons, and documenting her escalating plans.

Bowie now faces a single charge of attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, carrying up to 20 years in federal prison, a $250,000 fine, and a lifetime of supervised release.

A federal judge ordered her held without bail after her initial court appearance the following day.

In May 2025, the IAEA also determined that three undeclared sites were part of a structured weaponization program. At Lavisan-Shian, the agency assessed that undeclared uranium metal was used in 2003 to produce neutron initiators for scaled implosion tests. Neutron initiators are the triggers of nuclear weapons. This was not civilian infrastructure.

The 2026 National Defense Strategy stated the June 2025 strikes “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program. This was a lie dressed as a policy document. A leaked DIA report found that the sites were damaged but not destroyed, and Iran’s nuclear program was delayed by only a few months."

Matthew Livelsberger Shot Himself in Head Inside Cybertruck

Cybertruck bomber Matthew Livelsberger shot himself in the head just before the explosion at the Trump Las Vegas hotel, police said Thursday.

Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill told reporters Thursday that Livelsberger, 37, was found inside the vehicle with a “self-inflicted gunshot wound” to the head.

McMahill added that a handgun was found at the feet of Livelsberger, whose body was so badly burned, it was unrecognizable.

It was unclear what weapon Livelsberger allegedly used to kill himself, but police said they found a Desert Eagle .50 caliber semi-automatic handgun in the car, along with other semi-automatic weapons that were also charred.

Despite the damage to the body, police found Livelsberger’s Military ID, passport, phone and smartwatch inside the burnt vehicle.

A nuclear bomb being developed by the Biden administration could wreak havoc in Moscow, according to a simulation analyzed by Newsweek.

The creation of a new U.S. bomb, a variation of the B61 gravity bomb developed in the 1960s during the Cold War, was announced by the Department of Defense (DoD) last week. A news release by the Pentagon said that the B61-13 is intended to "strengthen deterrence of adversaries and assurance of allies" by providing President Joe Biden "with additional options against certain harder and large-area military targets."

While the Pentagon has not yet revealed exactly how powerful the bomb will be, officials said it would be capable of an explosive yield similar to an older model, the B61-7. That nuclear bomb had a maximum yield equivalent to 360 kilotons of TNT, roughly 24 times the explosive power of the 15-kiloton bomb that the U.S. dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, during World War II.
