Most-favored-nation drug pricing agreements now in effect

Trump Extends Most-Favored-Nation Drug Pricing Deals to Medicaid in All 50 States, Saving $64 Billion

Imagine walking into a pharmacy and being told you’ll pay three times what a customer in Paris or Tokyo pays for the exact same pill. No special formula, no premium version – just a bigger bill because you happen to live in the United States.

That’s been the reality for American families for decades. The U.S. has long paid nearly three times what other developed nations spend on prescription drugs – a fact that every politician in Washington has lamented and virtually none have fixed. Administrations came and went. Promises piled up like unpaid invoices. The pharmaceutical lobby wrote checks, and Congress looked the other way.

Sound familiar? It should. We’ve been hearing this song our entire lives. But last Friday, something concrete actually happened – and I mean concrete with a dollar sign$ attached.

President Trump announced from the Oval Office that his most-favored-nation drug pricing agreements with pharmaceutical companies are officially being extended to Medicaid programs in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Through the GENEROUS Medicaid Payment Model, states will receive rebates ensuring they never pay more than the MFN price on expensive brand-name drugs.

Twenty-six major pharmaceutical companies – from Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk to AstraZeneca and AbbVie – have signed on voluntarily.

The "bad ass warrior" admits it all

Hunter Biden spills the beans

Picture an ordinary American – a veteran, a plumber, a retired teacher – hopping on a podcast and casually admitting that a foreign company wired them tens of thousands of dollars every month, and they blew it on illegal drugs.

Now picture them having absolutely no qualifications for the gig producing that income. Oh, and their parent? The sitting Vice President of the United States, personally steering American policy toward the exact country cutting those checks. That person would be in handcuffs before the episode hit its first ad break.

But we’re not talking about an ordinary American. We’re talking about the Biden family – a political dynasty that has perfected the art of sidestepping consequences, memory-holing evidence, and counting on a press corps that treats their scandals like furniture nobody mentions. Now the truth isn’t coming from investigators or whistleblowers. It’s coming from Hunter Biden himself, apparently feeling chatty.

From The Post Millennial:

Hunter Biden admitted in a new interview that his lucrative board appointment at Burisma as well as other roles helped him to fuel his crack cocaine addition. Biden sat on the board of the Ukrainian energy giant Burisma earning $80,000 per month for his services.

Hunter Biden has now confirmed – publicly, voluntarily, on the record – what congressional investigators spent years trying to prove: Burisma cash flowed directly into sustaining his drug habit while his father wielded enormous influence over U.S.-Ukraine relations.

Joe Biden subsequently issued a sweeping presidential pardon shielding Hunter from federal prosecution.

Andrew Gillum

Former Florida Democrat Andrew Gillum Arrested On Drug Charges In Alabama

Former Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum was arrested last week in Alabama on multiple drug-related charges, marking the latest legal setback for the onetime rising star of the Democratic Party.

Online jail records show Gillum was taken into custody Thursday night by the Daphne Police Department in Daphne, Alabama, before being booked into the Baldwin County Jail. He faces charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

Latest Incident Follows 2020 Miami Beach Investigation.

Gillum’s arrest comes more than six years after a widely publicized 2020 incident at a Miami Beach hotel that drew national attention. Police and paramedics responded to the Mondrian Hotel after a 911 caller reported concern that another man staying with Gillum had suffered a possible overdose. When first responders entered the room, they found Gillum and another man appearing dazed and disoriented.

Body camera footage later released by police showed several prescription pill bottles inside the room. Investigators also recovered three small bags containing methamphetamine.

Illegals/Traffickers arrested

Eleven illegal immigrants from Venezuela and Colombia indicted in multi-state sex trafficking, drug, and firearms case

Federal prosecutors have charged eleven Venezuelan and Colombian nationals in a sweeping, 30-count indictment alleging the sex trafficking of a minor, drug trafficking, and illegal firearms trafficking across at least four states.

Ten of the eleven defendants were arrested Tuesday in coordinated law enforcement operations spanning Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. One defendant remains at large, with a listed residence in Mexico.

The case, announced by the Department of Justice, lays out an alleged criminal network that operated across state lines, trafficking at least nine firearms, selling ecstasy, and, most disturbingly, conspiring to sex traffic a girl between the ages of 14 and 18 along with an adult woman in central Ohio.

Ten of the eleven defendants are currently in the United States illegally. That fact alone should sharpen the focus for anyone still debating whether the federal government has an obligation to know who is inside this country and what they are doing here.

Former Olympian turned Narco

Ryan Wedding, former Olympic snowboarder turned alleged drug kingpin, arrested

Ryan James Wedding, an alleged drug kingpin and former Canadian Olympic snowboarder, has been arrested by the FBI.

Wedding, who was a fugitive on the FBI's 10 "Most Wanted" list, is accused of running a criminal enterprise that has smuggled six metric tons of cocaine a year into Los Angeles via semitrucks from Mexico.

"He is a modern day 'El Chapo,' he is the modern-day Pablo Escobar. And he thought he could evade justice," FBI Director Kash Patel said during a Friday press conference in Southern California at Ontario International Airport, where he was taken off a plane.

Wedding was previously indicted in Los Angeles federal court on multiple federal charges, including running a continuing criminal enterprise, committing murder in connection with a continuing criminal enterprise and assorted drug crimes.

The U.S. had raised the reward for Canadian alleged narcotics trafficker Ryan Wedding to $15 million, with additional rewards offered for information leading to the arrests of unknown assassins who murdered a potential witness last January in Medellín, Colombia.

Trump Says US Will Begin Land Strikes on Cartels in Mexico

‘We knocked out ... the drugs coming in by water, and we are going to start now hitting land with regard with the cartels,’ the U.S. president said.

President Donald Trump announced in an interview aired Jan. 8 that the United States will begin launching strikes on the cartels in Mexico.

“We knocked out 97 percent of the drugs coming in by water, and we are going to start now hitting land with regard with the cartels,” Trump told Fox News.

“The cartels are running Mexico,” Trump said. “It’s very sad to watch and see what’s happened to that country.”

The announcement comes just five days after Trump ordered an operation to remove Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro to the United States to face criminal charges, including narco-terrorism. [The Epoch Times]

Fentanyl is now a WMD

Trump Designates Fentanyl as Weapon of Mass Destruction

President Donald Trump signed an executive order marking fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction on Monday, escalating his war against drug trafficking during his second administration.

The order directs Attorney General Pam Bondi to pursue criminal charges, sentencing enhancements, and sentencing variances in fentanyl trafficking cases, according to a White House fact sheet. It also directs Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent to take actions against financial institutions involved in manufacturing or distributing the illegal sale of fentanyl.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth will work with Bondi and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem to provide enhanced national security resources and update their chemical incident response to include the fentanyl threat.

George Stephanopoulos told the facts

Senator Eric Schmitt TAKES DOWN "low ratings" ABC's Stephanopoulos during humiliating live interview

"You've LOST the debate!!!"

GOP Sen. Eric Schmitt took down “low ratings” George Stephanopoulos on his own show, strongly defending President Donald Trump’s actions to destroy narco terrorist in drug boats off the coast of Venezuela and calling out the host for “spewing Democrat talking points.”

“With your previous guest you had zero push back because he’s giving the Democrat talking points you spew every single week, which is probably why your ratings are so bad!” Schmitt blasted Stephanopoulos.

Admiral Bradley ordered second strike on drug boat

Admiral Bradley Approved 2nd Strike, Not Hegseth

White House officials said Monday that the “double tap” hit targeting survivors of a U.S. strike on a purported drug smuggling vessel in September was legal.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that War Secretary Pete Hegseth authorized Adm. Mitch Bradley to conduct the mission and that Bradley was the one, not Hegseth, who ordered a follow-up strike on a destroyed vessel that had already been targeted by U.S. forces after it became clear that there were two people who survived.

Last week, the Pentagon disputed reporting from the Washington Post that Bradley, the Special Operations commander overseeing the Sept. 2 attack, ordered service members to carry out a subsequent strike, or “double tap,” targeting survivors. That started the campaign to destroy alleged drug boats in the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

Leavitt said Hegseth did not order the military to kill everyone on board, contradicting reporting that Hegseth made the order to “kill everybody.”

Sedition

Especially the 6 who recently made a stupid video telling our service guys not to follow orders they felt were illegal.

Democratic lawmakers Sen. Elissa Slotkin, Sen. Mark Kelly, Rep. Jason Crow, Rep. Maggie Goodlander, Rep. Chris Deluzio and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan said the “threats to our Constitution” are coming “from right here at home,” and repeatedly urged the military and intelligence community to “refuse illegal orders.”

Of course, they don't tell you any specifics as to what they believe is an illegal order...just politics. I am assuming that they believe that blowing up the drug boats is an illegal act and would be happier if drugs landed in our country.

Rosie's daughter Chelsea goes to prison

Karma just caught up with the loudmouth Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O'Donnell spent years attacking President Donald Trump from her Hollywood perch before fleeing the country.

And Rosie O'Donnell just got hit with one nasty problem she never saw coming. Judge sends O'Donnell's adopted daughter to prison after probation violation.

A Wisconsin judge revoked Chelsea O'Donnell's probation on October 22 and sentenced the 28-year-old to prison time after she violated the terms of her probation.

Chelsea violated probation due to sexual assault allegations and failed to demonstrate adequate progress in her drug treatment program, according to a Marinette County Treatment Drug Court official.

"The facts surrounding this request have been staffed with the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team and have been deemed sufficient grounds to warrant termination from the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Program," court documents stated.

Chelsea will serve her sentence at Taycheedah Correctional Institution, a medium-security prison in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Rosie O'Donnell asked for prayers on Instagram Wednesday after posting a childhood photo of her daughter.

Operation Unplugged in Lake Worth Beach

G-Block to Jail Block: 'Operation Unplugged' busts Lake Worth fentanyl dealers

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — A multi-agency sting dubbed "Operation Unplugged" dismantled a fentanyl pipeline linked to the Zoe Mafia Family, seizing enough drugs to kill thousands.

Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office's (PBSO) Narcotics Task Force say they identified the area of 9th Avenue and South G Street in the City of Lake Worth, also known as "G-Block," as a hub for the distribution of fentanyl, xylazine, crack cocaine, MDMA, bath salts, marijuana, and counterfeit prescription medication.

Due to the uptick in overdoses in the past five years, deputies say they created "Operation Unplugged" to dismantle the drug operation and arrest the drug dealers involved.

Drug Bust on Florida's Turnpike

Nearly $15M in cocaine seized in massive drug bust, officials announce in West Palm Beach

Florida officials say a joint operation between state and federal law enforcement intercepted 173 kilograms of cocaine — worth an estimated $14.7 million — during a traffic stop on the Florida Turnpike earlier this month.

Lieutenant Governor Jay Collins held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon at the DEA Palm Beach Field Office, joined by Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Executive Director Dave Kerner. The event focused on public safety and law enforcement collaboration, highlighting the major drug interdiction success.

The DEA’s West Palm Beach office had alerted FHP to intelligence regarding a semi-truck suspected of transporting narcotics from the Mexican-Texas border into South Florida. Acting swiftly, FHP’s Criminal Interdiction Unit located the vehicle traveling southbound and conducted a lawful traffic stop for inspection.

5 Cartel boats now blown out of the water

US strikes another boat ‘trafficking narcotics’ off coast of Venezuela, Trump says; 6 killed

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that U.S. forces had conducted another strike against an alleged drug smuggling vessel, killing six.

Trump said in a post on Truth Social that War Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the strike Tuesday morning on a vessel affiliated with a “designated terrorist organization” that was “conducting narcotrafficking” in international waters off the coast of Venezuela. No U.S. forces were harmed in the operation.

Hegseth added a social media post that included a 34-second video of the strike.

Tuesday’s was the fifth known strike the U.S. has conducted in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility, including most recently on Oct. 3, following a buildup of maritime forces in the region, including eight surface warships and more than 5,000 sailors and Marines. The strikes have killed 27 people.

The latest strike comes after the Senate voted down legislation last week that would have put a check on Trump’s ability to use deadly military force against drug cartels.

Trump's Tariffs are working

Goaded by Tariffs, European Pharmaceutical Industry Pivots to the US

Analysts say drugmakers wouldn’t risk a disadvantage in the United States, the world’s biggest economy and pharmaceutical market.

The U.S. tariff policy and its unmatched pharmaceutical market are pulling European drugmakers to invest more heavily, from new manufacturing plants to U.S. stock listings and discount pricing deals.

Since early 2025, European drugmakers have stepped up their U.S. presence. In the most recent move, the United Kingdom’s giant AstraZeneca announced on Sept. 29 a direct listing on the New York Stock Exchange, just months after pledging $50 billion of U.S. investment by 2030.

The UK-headquartered Indivior dropped its London listing in July to trade solely on Nasdaq, while Swiss giants Roche and Novartis unveiled U.S. expansion plans in April worth $23 billion and $50 billion, respectively. France’s Sanofi has likewise committed at least $20 billion in American projects through 2030.

The moves reflect both the pull of the U.S. market, which accounted for more than half of global prescription medicine sales in 2024, and the push of political signals from Washington.

Following the Sept. 30 deal in which Pfizer agreed to cut Medicaid prices to match those in other developed nations, Swiss lobby Scienceindustries said other European firms may follow with similar “mini-deals.” Director General Stephan Mumenthaler told Reuters he expected announcements “one by one in the coming days and weeks.”

Trump putting Nicolas Maduro on notice

US Preps Strikes on Drug Targets Inside Venezuela

U.S. military officials are drawing up options to target drug traffickers inside Venezuela, and strikes within that country’s borders could potentially begin in a matter of weeks, four sources told NBC News.

Those sources are two U.S. officials familiar with the planning and two other sources familiar with the discussions. They spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the plans publicly.

Striking inside Venezuela would be another escalation in the Trump administration’s military campaign against alleged drug targets and its stance toward Venezuela’s government.

Strikes inside Venezuela could happen in the next several weeks, but the president has not approved anything yet, the four people said. Two of them and an additional official familiar with the discussions said that the United States’ recent military escalation is in part a result of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro not doing enough, in the administration’s view, to stop the flow of illegal drugs out of his country.

The plans being discussed primarily focus on drone strikes against drug trafficking groups’ members and leadership, as well as targeting drug labs, the four sources said.

Our War against Drugs

US Strikes 3rd Venezuelan Drug Boat

US President Donald Trump said the US military had “knocked off” a third drug boat from Venezuela, despite the Pentagon so far only detailing two such strikes.

“Stop sending drugs into the United States,” Trump said Tuesday as he departed Washington for a trip to London. “We knocked off, actually three boats, not two, but we saw two.”

Trump did not provide additional details on the strike, but warned Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro to stop sending narcotics and criminals from his country to the US.

Some Democrats in Congress say the strike might now have been legal because the people on the boat were not military combatants and the US and Venezuela aren’t at war.

DEA smashes cartel network in tiny New Hampshire town

The Sinaloa cartel thought they had the perfect setup running drugs through small-town America

They didn’t count on Donald Trump returning to the White House.

And Trump’s crackdown just delivered one nasty surprise that has cartel bosses scrambling for cover.

The Drug Enforcement Administration just pulled off a massive bust that shows how deep the cartel problem really runs in America. Twenty-seven people got hauled away in handcuffs in Franklin, New Hampshire – a town with barely 10,000 residents.

That’s not your typical small-town drug bust.

The DEA traced this operation straight back to Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel, running fentanyl and methamphetamine through Lawrence, Massachusetts.

While Biden kept the borders wide open for four years, the Sinaloa cartel was building distribution networks in places like Franklin, New Hampshire.

These aren’t random drug dealers – this is organized terrorism designed to flood American communities with fentanyl.
