Trump wins 46% of Hispanic vote

During his 2024 election romp, President-elect Donald Trump won a stunning 46% of the Hispanic and Latino vote, per a national CNN exit poll – posting the best recorded performance among the demographic of any Republican nominee in American history.

According to the same exit poll, Trump won Latino Catholics, a group that in the past has polled as strongly Democratic, by a seven-point margin (53% to 46%) over failed nominee Kamala Harris.

Trump’s historic performance with Hispanics was further bolstered by his winning Latino men by a double-digit margin (55% to 43%) and married Latinos by three points (51% to 48%), also per CNN.

In addition, the exit poll indicated that Trump lost Latino voters between the ages of 18 and 29 by only two points – winning 47% of the demographic to Harris’ 49%.

Although not considered a "minority," that's exactly why I switched in 2008! And my biggest regret was convincing my late mother, a life-long Republican, to change her party affiliation to Democrat.

And this man did the same thing--"When Wender Angeles arrived in the United States from Peru in 2006, he registered to vote as a Democrat because he related the party to the word “democracy.” He got involved with the party and voted for Barack Obama.

As he learned more about the two parties, he felt the Republican Party was a better fit.

“Later on, I was like, oh wait, this is not what I believe. But at the beginning, I was basically surrounded by Democrats,” Mr. Angeles told The Epoch Times in his family’s Exeter, Pennsylvania, living room."

"Impeach Mayorkas," says "El American" an Hispanic News publication

Conservative Hispanic Publication Calls for Mayorkas' Immediate Impeachment

In an editorial Monday, the conservative Hispanic news outlet "El American" called for the immediate impeachment of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his failure to handle the situation at the southern border.

"It is therefore with no pleasure that this outlet should call for the impeachment of one of the most powerful Hispanic leaders in the country, albeit in a Democratic administration," the editorial Monday said. "Yet the failings of the incumbent Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, are so immense that they must no longer be ignored."

The conservative digital publication said while it supports promoting Hispanics to positions of power, Mayorkas has shown "gross incompetence and disdain for protecting America's southern border" since his 2021 appointment to the post.

Democrats in Congress want the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to block the sale of a tiny south Florida radio station because the new owner fired a Hillary Clinton fundraiser who once served as mayor of a local city.

The politician turned radio host, Raul Martinez, was the Spanish-language station’s top host before a conservative media conglomerate bought it and changed the liberal-leaning programming.

The deal received sparse local media coverage but earned national attention when lawmakers in Washington D.C. asked a federal agency to reject the sale for what appears to be political reasons.
