FCC Chair Brendan Carr Says Disney Ran a Misinformation Campaign

Brendan Carr Called Disney’s Bluff on The View and Its FCC Licenses May Not Survive

ABC begged its own viewers last month to help save The View from federal regulators.

The FCC's answer arrived this week and it was not the one Disney wanted.

Brendan Carr's agency just moved against Disney in a way that could end more than one show.

The Federal Communications Commission is preparing to rule that The View is not a bona fide news program – a decision that would strip Disney's flagship gabfest of a 20 year old legal shield.

That shield is the only thing standing between Whoopi Goldberg's table and the FCC's equal time rule.

Lose it, and every time a Democrat candidate sits at that table, ABC has to hand identical airtime to the Republican running against them.

GayDays at Family Friendly Disney on Pause

'GayDays' at Disney World on ice after sponsors pull out

Salacious posts from the organizers had promised 'carnal' events and 'uninhibited freedom.'

In yet another sign of a reverse in cultural trends, the organizers of the annual "GayDays" at Disney World announced the event has been put on "pause" this year after several sponsors dropped out.

The event usually lasts for several days and occurs in June during LGBTQ+ Pride Month. This year's event would have been the 35th anniversary at the Orlando resort in Florida.

"After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to pause the GayDays Orlando event scheduled for June 2026," the statement reads.

"Changes to our host hotel agreement, the loss of key sponsorship support, and broader challenges currently impacting LGBTQIA+ events nationwide made it impossible to deliver the experience our community deserves," the organizers added.

Disney scales back its wokeness after Donald Trump’s victory

Disney surrendered in one big fight with Donald Trump that left Hollywood rattled

Their left-wing progressive employees are rattled too

TOO BAD!

There has been a cultural shift since Donald Trump won the election. It is the dawning of a new day in the entertainment industry.

And Disney surrendered in one big fight with Donald Trump that left Hollywood rattled.

The Walt Disney Company became the vanguard for injecting woke content into its entertainment. But the company’s left-wing activism was not limited to its TV shows and movies.

Disney picked a fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over his parental rights in education law that prohibited students in grades K-3 from being taught radical gender ideologies and sexual orientation. DeSantis stripped the company of its special governing district that controlled the governance of its Orlando theme parks.

Disney now announced that it was scaling back its DEI initiatives to bring them in line with “business goals and company values.” It wasn’t a total retreat from DEI for Disney, but it marked a dramatic change from a company that was caught on video admitting it was “injecting queerness” into kids programming.

DeSantis Scores Major Victory Against Disney

Lawsuit Null and Void: No corporation should be its own government

For those who’ve followed the Walt Disney Company’s botched attempts to sink Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Republican state legislators’ agenda, it’s been a long string of missteps, flawed strategies, and outright lies by the House of Mouse. On Wednesday, Disney (again) lost a legal battle to DeSantis.

A settlement reached between the parties and announced on Wednesday puts to rest — in a favorable way for Florida and DeSantis — Disney’s last-ditch attempt to foil the successful takeover and elimination of the Disney-controlled district that allowed the company significant autonomy in and around its Walt Disney World resort.

In short, Disney admitted its efforts to thwart DeSantis were “null,” “void,” and “unenforceable.”

Disney needs to stop Mousing around

Woke Disney executives will not give up their fight to take down DeSantis

Disney received another devastating blow when a federal district judge sided with DeSantis.

But instead of accepting reality, Disney is still in denial.

And now woke Disney execs made another shocking move in their attempt to take down Ron DeSantis for good. Woke Disney execs are going mad and Disney execs cannot stand Governor Ron DeSantis.

When DeSantis took control of Disney’s special tax district, including jurisdiction over their municipal services and development of their once “special zone,” Disney lost their minds.

They thought their woke policies could go unchecked, and never dreamed DeSantis would fight back.

Disney's Diversity/Equity/Inclusion officer departing

The Woke Will Seethe When They Find Out What Just Happened At Disney

The woke mob isn’t going to like this one and it just shows they are losing the culture war.

An internal memo leaked to the press (which tells you the left is furious) shows that Disney’s top Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) officer is going to be leaving the company to “pursue other endeavors.”

Folks, Disney is one of the largest companies in the country you don’t leave to “pursue other endeavors.”

Perhaps Disney is waking up after that film featuring “nonbinary” characters completely flopped at the box office as well as our Governor holding strong.

Businesses and corporations need to stop jerking the citizens around.

The Mouse's House, the Worst Year

Disney Blindsided Again! They Got A Whole New Problem They Never Saw Coming

The company relocated many employees from California to Orlando, Florida, during the pandemic due to coronavirus restrictions. However, since the move, the company has been hit financially because of its woke agenda.

And, The employees they relocated during the Pandemic from California are refusing to leave (can anyone blame them?) and have no plans to move unless they are forced. They are firing 7,000 employees.

The narrative is that Disney is fine and Florida is going to fall apart without them. In reality, Disney is joined at the hip with Florida (whether they like it or not) and now their employees want to stay despite left groups claiming the state is dangerous like the alt-Left NAACP.

Reports show that The Walt Disney Company lost $123 billion in market value in just the past year as its stock price closed the year down 44%.

Governor DeSantis Orders investigation of former Disney Board

Disney Proves to Be Sneaky…DeSantis Responds!

The state of Florida passed legislation that stripped Disney of its self-governing status, but the multinational corporation had a last-minute, sneaky attempt to undermine the real changes.

Before the past board was sent packing and replaced with a new state-appointed board, it moved to give Disney broad power to further develop land on the outskirts of the counties it is in.

This preserved some of the self-governing power that Florida tried to end.

Disney exerting its power

Disney Doubles Down On Controversial Stance!

Disneyland has announced the launch of a new Pride Nite event, which could be in response to the recent battle between Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the entertainment giant. The event, which is priced at $139 a ticket, was announced on Twitter shortly after DeSantis threatened to build a state prison next to Walt Disney World and Reedy Creek.

In what seems to be a “doubling down” move, the event, which will be held in June, is open to all members of the LGBT community and their allies and will include a performance by a local LGBT artist, a selection of food and drinks, and a special Disney character meet and greet.

Three bills that will be going to Governor DeSantis from the Florida Republican backed legislation are 1) preventing children from attending drag shows, 2) banning transgender children from receiving puberty blockers  3) and requiring people to use the bathroom that aligns with their sex at birth.

This has nothing to do with "Don't Say Gay."  These bills are common sense and protect the children in Florida. Disney is using all its clout but these bills have nothing to do with anti-gay legislation.

The Walt Disney World territory operated within Florida's Reedy Creek Improvement District for decades, allowing the resort to function as its own municipal government. And back in March, it sruck a utilities deal wshere Disney gets to set its own rates.

Development rights being challenged at Disney by Reedy Creek Board

DeSantis: Reedy Creek Board snuck in last-minute deal allowing Disney to retain developmental power

  • The Office of Gov. Ron DeSantis asserted on Wednesday that the former Board of Supervisors for the formerly Disney-owned Reedy Creek Improvement District engaged in last-minute agreements in the lead-up to the state’s takeover of the special district.
  • Individuals close to the governor told The Capitolist that attorneys working for Disney brokered last-minute contract agreements granting the company more developmental power over the district, preventing the state from acquiring authority.
  • The district’s new oversight group stated on Wednesday that it will employ outside legal services to examine the legality of the agreements. During a conference call this afternoon, the DeSantis Administration stated that they view the contracts void as a matter of law and unable to be enforced.

Woke Disney Crosses the Line with Cartoon Pushing Radical Extremism

Blatant anti-white propaganda

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” shares a clip of Disney’s “The Proud Family” going full woke indoctrination by questioning if Abraham Lincoln really freed the slaves and making the case for reparations with the “slaves built this country” musical number.

The recently released Disney+ episode of "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder" is receiving backlash over a rap featuring children singing about slavery and reparations. The song's lyrics argue that America has failed to adequately atone for its history of prejudice, racism, and White supremacy and therefore "owes" Black Americans.

The rap also promotes the idea that President Abraham Lincoln did not actually free the slaves. Manhattan Institute fellow Christ Rufo shared a clip of the episode on Twitter, calling it "pure critical race theory."

Woke Disney Went to War with Governor DeSantis--Bad move

DeSantis Just Gave Disney A Very Bad Day… Then It Gets Worse

It went from bad…

This story began when the media insisted on calling legislation that protected our youngest students from being force-fed information about sexual realites the ‘don’t say gay’ bill.

Of course, at no point in the legislation did it use the word ‘gay’, but the media had a narrative and they were running with it.

For woke Disney and the ‘evil’ right-wing Governor DeSantis, the bait was just too tempting. Disney went all-in. They went to war with DeSantis over the legislation and tried to push values contrary to what the electorate of Florida had given their own elected officials a mandate to accomplish.

A new bill was proposed by Florida politicians on Monday, which would give the governor full control over the district and the ability to appoint the five-member board of supervisors that run the special district.

The nominees would then need to be confirmed by Florida state senators. The proposed legislation would keep in place Reedy Creek’s obligation to almost $1 billion of outstanding bonds.

Plaintiffs have NO STANDING

Federal Judge Dismisses Reedy Creek Lawsuit Against DeSantis

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over the dissolution of the Walt Disney Company’s Reedy Creek Improvement District, a 25,000-acre self-governing area in the state’s Orange and Osceola counties.

The lawsuit was filed by William Sanchez last week on behalf of three Orange and Osceola County residents. Sanchez is a Miami lawyer and Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Surprise!

DeSantis was listed as a defendant, along with Secretary of State Laurel Lee and Jim Zingale, executive director of the Florida Department of Revenue.

U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia Altonaga, a George W. Bush appointee, wrote in her order that the suit was dismissed for several reasons, including the “federal court’s lack of standing over state issues” and because the “law does not go into effect until July 2023.”

Disney

While Netflix Goes Broke, Disney Says “Hold My Beer…”

"But while Netflix is in the spotlight for being super woke, they’re not the only ones paying the price. Of course, I’m talking about Disney, who recently lost approximately 15% of their value in just about 3 weeks. And why? Because they decided to go hard against parents having a say in what schools teach their children.

I don’t know if they know this, but schools have absolutely zero authority over students. They are not their possessions, they are not their progeny, they are little humans passing through so teachers can teach them how to read, write, and do math. If you have to use politics to get that across, you’re doing it wrong and need to find another job.

So, to Disney, I say, go broke. I hate it. I’ve never been to Disney World and would have liked to have gone one day, but at this point. Keep pushing this crap until you’re the saddest place on earth or until the board of directors comes to their senses, apologizes, and turns from their wickedness." [redrightvideos.com]

Disney's taxes and regulatory authority on the line

Florida Senate Passes Bill Stripping Disney World of Special Status

Florida’s Senate passed a bill yesterday during a special session that would dissolve the special tax district that has allowed Walt Disney World to enjoy autonomy since 1967 as the showdown between the Walt Disney Company and Florida’s leaders over a new parental rights law continues.

Disney has been out of compliance since 1997 with a law that required districts to seek re-codification.

The Florida Senate’s 23-16 vote came after Governor Ron DeSantis called for the Florida legislature to expand its special session to review the privileges granted to Disney World. The measure now heads to the Florida House which is also led by Republicans. If passed in the lower chamber of Florida’s legislature, DeSantis is expected to sign the bill to eliminate Disney World’s special tax and operational status.

Article III, Section 11(a)(12) of the Florida Constitution of 1968 prohibits special laws granting privileges to private corporations.

Disney will have a year to get its act together and basically get "unwoke."

Let the Grooming Begin

Disney Just Admitted “This Is Our Gayest Movie Yet”

For the past few weeks woke Disney company has been making headlines after it vowed to fight Florida’s ‘Parental Rights in Education‘ bill.

Also, Disney execs started to openly admit that they have been sexualizing Disney content for years, but they continue to contest that they have a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda.”

Well, it looks like no more evidence is needed now after Disney has released what many are calling “the gayest kids movie yet.”

This month, Disney plus is expected to release a musical comedy aimed at pre-teens titled ‘Better Nate Than Ever.’

New Leaked Disney Video: CEO 'Grovels,' Vows Significant New 'Action' on LGBT Issues

In recent weeks, Disney has been emerging as an increasingly vocal activist for the LGBTQ+ agenda.

Disney’s CEO Bob Chapek has argued that Disney is simply seeking more diversity because it is good for business.

In that light, Chapek apologized to the LGBTQ+ community “for not being the ally you needed me to be,” and pledged to be a better ally, in a new video that journalist Christopher Rufo tweeted.

Disney has continued to insist that there is a growing queerness in our culture that now must be catered to in entertainment.

Disney and Governor Desantis go head to head on Parental rights Ledgislation

Governor DeSantis speaks out

“When you have companies that have made a fortune off being family-friendly and catering to families and young kids, they should understand that parents of young kids do not want this injected into their kid’s kindergarten classroom. …”

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said in an epic video tirade against the organization, “If that’s the hill they’re (Disney) gonna die on, how do they possibly explain lining their pockets with their relationship from the Communist Party of China?”

Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill (HB) 1557, Parental Rights in Education, which reinforces parents’ fundamental rights to make decisions regarding the upbringing of their children.

The bill prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through 3rd grade and prohibits instruction that is not age appropriate for students and requires school districts to adopt procedures for notifying parents if there is a change in services from the school regarding a child’s mental, emotional or physical health or well-being.

The bill builds on the Parents’ Bill of Rights, which was signed into law in Florida last year, and is part of Governor DeSantis’ Year of the Parent focus on protecting parental rights in education.
