Remove Statutes of White Jesus' says punks

Pictured is a vandalized Jesus statue at Serenity Memorial Park in Peoria’s, Illinois which occurred in 2019. Shaun King would like to see similar statues taken down.

Christian figures, symbols targeted amid ongoing protests

Christian figures and symbols -- including Jesus Christ himself -- have become the target of hate and vandalism as protests continue across the nation and it's just not anarchists. Democrats have trashed Christianity for years. Here in Lake Worth, we even have an Atheist commissioner who refuses to ever say a prayer or bow his head during an invocation.

“They’re looking at Jesus Christ, they’re looking at George Washington, they’re looking at Abraham Lincoln, they’re looking at Thomas Jefferson,” Trump said during a news conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda in the White House’s Rose Garden. “It’s not going to happen.”

Atheists lose; God wins

Supreme Court denies atheist groups' attempt to take 'In God We Trust' off money

The phrase “In God We Trust” first appeared on coins in 1864, and Congress passed legislation in 1955 requiring all paper and coin currency to bear the words. Atheists lost in the lower court and now lost in the Supreme Court. They even lost in 2004 when they tried to take the phrase out of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Read about it...

God always wins.

Some Liberals and people such as Chaz Stevens don't know that. And we have an atheist on the Lake Worth Commission.

Christianity wins; Atheism loses

Community Has Perfect Response After Group Demands Courthouse Remove Crosses. Don't mess with Texas

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) demanded that four white crosses at the San Jacinto County Courthouse be removed immediately, alleging it violated the Constitution.

As one person said, "FFRF is a terrorist organization. They specialize in picking fights with small towns and cities that cannot afford the very high costs of constitutional litigation. Properly read, the Establishment Clause bars the government from establishing a formal state religion, something a display doesn't come close to doing."

FFRF even has a contest for atheists, giving an award entitled: ‘Nothing Fails Like Prayer Award’

This time, Christianity wins; Atheism loses.

Joyless Behar and The View

Joy Behar begged her audience to come back after attacking Christians by saying those who believe have a "mental disease." According to the Hollywood Reporter, "A hastily executed reboot in the summer has failed to reverse the show's ratings fortune: The View is flat year-over-year among total viewers and down 9 percent among its target audience of women 25-to-54." So far, ABC 's new chief executive has not made any decision on The View. It is still there and nasty as ever.

We already know that the Godless Left love to dump on Christianity and Republicans at any chance they get, but Joy Behar, who was born into a Catholic Italian family, hates Christians.  I have an atheist friend who happens to be a diehard Democrat who is obsessed with this show because of the hateful rhetoric towards our president in particular and never misses an airing of The View. This is the audience it attracts.

Atheist Preston Smith writes the City of Lake Worth

On Sunday, October 1, 2017 9:20 PM, P. Smith <@yahoo.com> wrote:

Terrific news, Mr. Bornstein!  In light of Saturday's court ruling, I'd like to be added to an upcoming agenda to give an invocation.  Specifically, I'd like to acknowledge an assortment of man-made, mythological gods and demons, including among them the infamous Abrahamic God and His countless wicked ways.  These are my sincerely held beliefs.

Ideally, Lake Worth will no longer discriminate against atheists, non-believers, secular humanists, and those from minority religions, such as satanists, by disallowing us our rights as reaffirmed this weekend by a federal court in Florida.  If you determine yet again that your current policy will not change, I'll be glad to put you in touch with attorneys with the Freedom From Religion Foundation, of which I am a member.

Please reply at your earliest opportunity that you are in receipt of my request.

A federal court last night struck down the Brevard County, Fla., Board of County Commissioners’ policy of excluding non-theists from giving opening invocations, a ruling that is being hailed by the groups that sponsored the litigation.

In its ruling, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida said a local governing body cannot limit its invocation speakers to those from monotheistic religions.

Read about the decision...

Where there's a will, there's a way, they say. The commission changed it's policy regarding invocations. Now, on a rotating basis, they choose the speaker or offer a moment of silence.

Preston Smith

Some of you will remember when atheist Preston Smith gave the invocation at City Hall. This was back on December 2, 2014. The commission was so outraged that they all walked out after inviting him to speak. Chris McVoy was the only commissioner left in the room. Even atheist, Andy Amoroso walked out.

Well, this Florida teacher plans to erect a Satanic display at a park during this Christmas season to entice children to “hail Satan,” outraging local parents.

Preston Smith whose father was a minister, teaches language arts at a Boca Raton middle school, said he plans to display a 300-pound metal Satanic pentagram, sporting “One Nation Under Antichrist,” “May The Children Hail Satan,” and “In Satan We Trust,” in Sanborn Square.

In God We Trust

“Nothing can be more certain than that our country was founded in a spiritual atmosphere and with a firm trust in God. While the sentiment of trust in God is universal and timeless, these particular four words ‘In God We Trust’ are indigenous to our country...In these days when imperialistic and materialistic communism seeks to attack and destroy freedom, we should continually look for ways to strengthen the foundations of our freedom."

~ Charles Bennett, 1956

WRONG I guess, at least according to atheist, Dr. Michael Newdow.

Minorities are always trying to cause havoc. They twist our Constitution in all sorts of ways to suit their agenda. Subversives, atheists, Communists and general pain in the asses are in the way of our country's spirit. "This week, Becket, a non-profit legal institution which defends the role of liberty in the public square, urged the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals to reject atheist Dr. Michael Newdow’s, an attorney and physician, latest effort to remove the national motto from American currency."

Read about it...

The problems we have here and in the world today are directly related to falling away from God. Try living by the Ten Commandments that take a fundamental role in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

Atheist Chaz Stevens - Again

Comment Up

People are pissed in Phoenix.

It all sounds familiar and what happened in Phoenix happened right here in Lake Worth...same mindset. Lake Worth Commissioner Christopher McVoy was the only commissioner who dissented on the vote to change the invocation process which now controls who says what.

Our favorite atheist, Chaz Stevens, has pulled another one, preying on religious values and pitting one person against another. Mayor Greg Stanton of Phoenix, Arizona and others blasted a Commissioner for implying they supported the Satanists and sought to "end prayer." They had a silent prayer instead. The mayor called some of the political attacks the "most despicable thing that I have ever witnessed in my service to the city."

Then he said that taking the other proposed route, which would have allowed council members to pick the person who gives invocation, would have put the city in "Constitutional peril." Now they are going to put it to a vote of the people.

"There may be changes that (city councils) could make that would have the incidental effect of altering who is going to have priority for giving invocations," said Michael McConnell, director of the Constitutional Law Center at Stanford Law School, who spoke to KJZZ's "The Show." "But there can be no formal discrimination," said McConnell.

And Chaz Stevens keeps on laughing and he won't stop until we become a Godless nation.

Satan won't let Atheist Chaz Stevens sleep

Comment Up

Now he's been allowed to erect an upside down cross in Hallendale Beach, a town a little more dense than Lake Worth with a population of 37,000. The inscription reads: In Chaz we trust; all others pay cash." Stevens says that he "loves his tacky sign."

A local minister plans to erect a Christian cross right next to it today.

The absurdity of it all continues.

In the meantime, Marco Rubio said at a town hall in Iowa that he’ll champion a country where "no one is forced to violate their conscience. No one is going to force you to believe in God, but no one is going to force me to stop talking about God."

Quote of the Day - Athiest Chaz Stevens

Comment Up
“Keep this in mind: The Constitution isn’t about protecting the majority view, like Title 9 in sports, it’s about protecting the minority view and what’s more minority than satanic temple or Festivus pole made of cans for gay pride.”

 ~ Chaz Stevens

That's how he justifies protecting the minority by mocking and ridiculing Christianity. He is so lucky to live in this country where the majority has to put up with this diarrhea.

Lake Worth Invocations

Atheist Preston Smith mentioned Jesus, Allah, Satan and Thor. Smith ended the invocation by saying, “And so we prayed. So what?”

Most of us believe in prayer. Atheists make up about 3.1% of our population but we, being politically correct, bowed down to them and voted to change our invocation procedure to knock them out of the loop of free speech. We also catered to the "progressives" who also hate prayer but they hate anything that disagrees with their narrative.  Everyone has the right to be silly, but why do we continue to allow the minority to control the message?

Tonight is the city commission meeting--the only one we will have in the month of December. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag will be led by Vice Mayor Maxwell. However, we are not going to be very spiritual tonight as the invocation will be a "Moment of Silence."

If you recall, it was said that the rotation process where each member on the dais could say his own invocation, have a moment of silent prayer or invite someone of their choosing to give an inspirational message and still follow the Supreme Court decision that was mentioned by the city attorney, was voted in on a 4/1 vote.

Trying to get to the bottom of the rotation process and what commissioner is responsible for what meeting is undetermined at this time. No one seems to know the answer to this.

The city clerk says, "There are no records for the Commission rotation or moment of silence responsibility." Now, don't you think, as this was voted by the commission to change its procedure where each one of them would have the responsibility of deciding before a commission meeting on a rotation basis, that they would at least be curious enough to ask when they were on the schedule to decide for all of us whether or not we get to hear an invocation or not?

If no one knows, especially the city clerk, then was this meeting in November really about fooling and appeasing us in order to eliminate invocations altogether? I guess they thought we wouldn't notice.

What Interests Readers?

Comment Up

Someone came on my blog at 11:44pm and asked me the following question:
Anonymous Anonymous said...
Why is it your readers hardly ever comment on your National/global posts (which I love) - any thoughts?

Thanks for asking as I have thought about this and have come up with a few things--

Most people don't want to think about horrible happenings in the world.  They are concentrated on their own immediate lives, their families, putting food on the table, holding on to their jobs and just trying to be happy. Serious issues upset their apple cart and they believe that no elected leader would lead us astray and if push comes to shove, that president who promised them hope and change will be there for them to keep the nation safe. They need positive energy rather than what's really around them and push it aside as not relative to them. They call the rest of us "complainers," or racists.

Obama still, to this day, has an approval rating of around 43%.  It is 43% points too high.

Half the country are Democrats and Obama is building his voting base by encouraging food stamps, "affordable" medical care, and generally doling out help from the state.  Ever since President Obama took office, the poverty rate among children has soared to 22 percent, with three million more children living in poor conditions.  Of course, the Feds won't do a thing about illegal immigration. And then you have Democrats like Bernie Sanders, who want to spend $3 billion on solar panels for the poor. The federal debt owed to the public has more than doubled — up 107 percent but Democrats don't care about that. Washington allows corporations to outsource and we have lost millions of jobs to overseas...they won't lower the corporate tax and keep jobs here.

The majority of voters in LW are Democrat as well as in Palm Beach County in general. It used to be, back in the 50's, you had to register Democrat or you had NO one to vote for in the primaries. It has stuck and it took me 40 years to do something about that.

Although I have readers from all over the place, predominantly they are from this city I would guess. Have you ever gotten in a conversation with anyone from around here on national or international issues. They just keep bowing down to Obama for all he has done for them such as gay rights as an example or they will refuse to get into the debate. I have a good friend who would not vote for Romney saying he was a "nerd." I have a few good acquaintances/friends who are Democrats and  don't read this blog--they only read fiction.

We have a large gay population. They are caught up in the rapture of his oratory and deeds and believe that he is the only one speaking for them. No doubt about it--he has done a lot.

The other thing about Lake Worth is that the local politics is split right down the middle from the informed to the uninformed, to the vocal and those who have no clue, so this brings the biggest response from those involved. The city is highly charged politically. Local issues are in their own back yard so immediately there is built-in interest.  My making mention of the ills of Obama doesn't cut it for them. They want to hear about our commission and Mike Bornstein or if we or they are  getting screwed.

We also have an active socialist population and you can't talk to them about anything but Bernie, abortions, and free college educations. There are the pacifists who believe and don't want us to be engaged in any more wars on foreign soil...NO boots on the ground they say. These are the people who want us to bring in Syrian refugees, support them and allow Muslim populations to grow in our country. We are a diverse nation, they tell us...bring us your tired, your poor, etc. and still bring up the Statute of Liberty. We have so many illegals in this city and that doesn't bother many of them.

They ignore the national debt of over $18 trillion and believe money grows on trees. We are a debtor nation and they don't care. We are helping the world, they believe. They don't want to hear what I have to say and dismiss it, as the nation continually slides into socialism and debt that is like quicksand, that we can't crawl from.

We have the atheists and the politically correct Democrats who want to do away with any religion and Obama has helped them achieve this. You do away with Christianity and you eradicate the soul of our nation. "Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation." BHO said this in 2006.

So there you have it--a few thoughts on this.  If I had taken the time, I probably would have come up with a better answer. I am a blogger who does not write for a targeted audience.  Hopefully next year the politics will change. When it does, it will be a rough road to get our nation back on track. And as Scott Maxwell said the other night, "We have never agreed on anything" and that's where the problem lies. There is no reaching across the aisle.

Vice Mayor Scott Maxwell on Invocations at City Hall - Quote of the Day

Comment Up
Note: In God We Trust
is even on our money

"I'm not looking for controversy...but why is it that we've gone for 200 plus years with this process? It's worked very well for us and then we find one individual or two individuals in the community or a nation that want to make an issue out of it.

You know, earlier today we talked about democracy, ok...well that's not very democratic when you start having nickles holding up a dime.  For 200 plus years, we have had this system in place.  Now all of a sudden we're going to change the system over a handful of people that they decide they want to come in and mock everyone's else's religion.  That's not what I consider respectful of other people's belief systems.

So, we all should shut down our belief systems or not express, or embrace, or celebrate or acknowledge or whatever adjective you want to use because one or two or three or a handful of people in the community are offended...are you kidding me?  You're kidding me, right?"

~ Vice Mayor Scott Maxwell

I agree with Scott Maxwell. Right now the country is being lead by politically correct minorities of people who are changing our value system. That is their mission--to end the importance of Christianity, God, prayer or any religion. I agree with Maxwell that we "are not moving forward" when Commissioner Maier suggested that we were. They have had the right president of the United States in place to empower them. A lot has changed over the course of seven years.

When Maxwell used the expression of nickles holding up a dime, he was saying that basically the notion that something relatively small in value can thwart the larger benefits that would accrue from something much bigger. There is a lot of truth to that statement.

To say this again, eighty-three percent of Americans identify themselves as Christians. Most of the rest, 13 percent, have no religion. That leaves just 4 percent as adherents of all non-Christian religions combined — Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and a smattering of individual mentions.

Even our city attorney told us that all faiths have been represented in Lake Worth during our invocations:  Christians, Jews, Moment of Silence, Muslims, Atheists, Quakers, Baha'i Faith. We can't control the message but we can tell them not to criticize others. He told us that our procedure has not been illegal and quoted a Supreme Court case that I have already discussed on this blog.

The City should have told the truth as to what provoked this to be placed on the agenda by the City Attorney--it was the request by Atheist/Satanist Chaz Stevens who has threatened a lawsuit. The last thing this city wants is another lawsuit and they don't want him appearing at City Hall.

They are controlling the message. Even in the end, Scott Maxwell voted to take the easy way out. They changed the process with their 4/1 vote [McVoy dissenting], catering to the minority of people who believe in nothing but themselves. If they are afraid of a lawsuit, they surely could open themselves up for a discrimination lawsuit down the road when you have 5 commissioners controlling the message and deciding what, if any or who should give the invocation at City Hall.

Here in Lake Worth, non-believers are very much in the minority. It is such a small percentage that it amounts to beans but this commission rolled over to them on the pretense of "moving forward" and totally ignoring the First Amendment.

I am not afraid of anyone's message whether they be Jewish, Atheist, Muslim, etc. I am very comfortable in my own skin, in my own beliefs, that whatever they say is irrelevant to my life but one thing is certain, they should have the right to give a two minute invocation. What is there to fear?

Obama just doesn't understand Christianity

What a bunch of hooie. Obama has no clue about Christianity and cites the Old Testament for his argument-- Leviticus and Deuteronomy.  The Old Testament law was given to the nation of Israel, not to Christians. It just shows that 20 years of attending Reverend Jeremiah Wright's church (God damn America!) did him absolutely NO good whatsoever, unless he is a heretic or really a Muslim with an agenda. And just listen to all the little atheist sheep cheering him on.

Someone on YouTube: Well Barrack Hussein Obama, you did it.  America got change.  You've stripped away everything America was built on and made everyone "feel good."  Now watch the destruction of our country, as so many nations have already been through when they deny and mock God.  Great work Mr. President. By the way, it makes me sick to hear this as an American.

And to think America voted this man in twice. And calling Obama a Christian is like calling Adolf Hitler a friend of Russia! Not only did he twist the Scripture but he doesn't even know the scripture but the old boy sure does know what the Unholy Quran says. And I have a problem with wimpy Christians that are afraid to speak out because they don't want to offend a Muslim because they're trying to win them if you're going to win 1 act like your God is greater than Allah your God is greater than the Prophet Muhammad their prophet is dead and their god is dead. When the Antichrist comes to power will you play patty cake with the Antichrist no. I will not I will not bend I will not bow especially like the President did to the Arabs a very gutless move but that's what cowards do. They bow down before Devils no we are not in a physical war we are in a spiritual one. And the Lord was very plain when this scripture I am reminded of the nation that forgets God and his commandments he will set their enemies over them. America needs revival and we need it bad Obama should be impeached for treason and I hope that one day we will take our enemies serious because they are not taking us serious but they will and they will take the Lord Jesus Christ very serious. We need to pray for Jerusalem and the peace of Israel and we need the Lord to do wonders among us read the prophet Daniel they that know their God shall rise up and do exploits miracles will wake up our enemies will turn and serve the Lord. Allah cannot heal the Prophet Mohammad cannot heal they cannot give life they only take it however Jesus said I am the truth and the light he that walks with me does not walk in darkness but walks in the light we have the light his name is Jesus Christ the Son of the only living God. And I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation. This is a christian nation get over it .

Standing up for Christianity - Will you?

As atheist Chaz Stevens says, "I'm tackling Christmas next," here is a story about a town in Mississippi whose residents are fighting back.

Read about it...

There is a movement in this country to end Christianity and our Marxist in Chief is ignoring it. We see Christians being slaughtered in the Mid-East and elsewhere and they have taken on their evil here with such groups as the Freedom From Religion Foundation. People need to realize that sometimes you can NOT simply turn the other cheek as you will get nailed. You have to stand up. And that message is for all of you ministers as well.

At least this Mississippi city has some damn principles unlike a certain city that we all love and that has joined the anti-Christian crusade by changing its policy on invocations at city commission meetings. Lake Worth changed the name of the Christmas parade to the Holiday parade years ago.  It's always that first little step that begins the movement--you give that inch and then it's a mile.
