Election 2024

March 19, 2024 is the date to vote in a new Commissioner in District 3, not only to get our city back on track but our country as well.

As we now have District by District voting which I did not vote for and believe it is a terrible decision by the voters of Lake Worth as all commissioners decide on Lake Worth's future as well as it's spending, I hope all of you in District 3 get to the polls and vote for Mimi May.

Republican field emerges

Republican Primary field emerges to represent Palm Beach County House district

Two, first-time Republican candidates competing for the right to face a freshman Democratic lawmaker.

Real estate business owner Brandon Cabrera is officially running to represent an inland Palm Beach County district in the Legislature.

Cabrera, a Republican and owner of Brand X Company, will compete in the GOP Primary against Chris Mitchell, a Republican whose LinkedIn profile shows he is a vice president and Norcom Mortgage branch manager. The winner would take on the incumbent, Democratic Rep. Katherine Waldron.

Cabrera, who serves on a number of community boards, highlighted his endorsement from County Commissioner Michael Barnett, who is also the Palm Beach County GOP Chair.

The Governor named Barnett to the Palm Beach County Commission to fill the unexpired term of Dave Kerner. DeSantis appointed Kerner to become the Executive Director of the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for DeSantis’ second term.

Dan Franzese Wins Republican District 22

Franzese will face Frankel in 22nd District race for Congress, after 130-vote win in recount

"That's the final margin by which Dan Franzese beat out Deborah Adeimy in the Republican primary race for the 22nd Congressional District seat, which covers a majority of southern Palm Beach County.

A machine recount of the votes began at 1 p.m. Friday and concluded just before 2 a.m. Saturday. Original vote tallies showed just 132 votes separated the candidates.

Franzese earned 11,972 votes, or 34.6% of the vote, while Adeimy won 11,842, or 34.2% of the vote.

Franzese will now take on incumbent U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel, D-West Palm Beach, on Nov. 8 — a seat Republicans want to try to flip.

“This has been a long, hard-fought campaign," Franzese wrote in a statement sent to The Palm Beach Post. "I want to thank the people of District 22 for believing in me. I have listened to them and they have been heard at the ballot box."

Adeimy posted to her campaign Facebook page Saturday morning acknowledging the results:

"Lois Frankel is relieved she is not running against me, who would have finally ended her term," she wrote. "Happy I met more amazing people here, where my family has been for a century. I am devastated I sacrificed so much for my hometown and America."

In this County where the majority of voters are Democrats (they vote Democrat even when the country is going down the tubes), Lois Frankel has the big edge. The Republican Natonal Committee needs to get involved with the resources for Franzese to even have a chance.

This is the first time in my life that I voted by mail. I won't have my car on August 23 so I drove to the Supervisor of Elections office, filled out my ballot and turned it in.

All states should have closed primaries

The Democrat Party is in total disarray. Americans are going to use the 2022 midterms as a referendum on Joe Biden’s pitiful performance in the White House. Democrats know they’re going to lose unless they manipulate the election.

Open primaries are one place they can start. Open primaries must be stopped. They offer too great an opportunity for purposeful manipulation. America must begin to rebuild trust in our elections. Closed primaries are one place to start.

Just look at deplorable Liz Cheney who is looking to recruit registered Democrats to switch their party affiliation in order to vote for her in Wyoming’s Aug. 16 primary. There is nothing fair about open primaries.

A closed primary is a type of primary election in which a voter must affiliate formally with a political party in advance of the election date in order to participate in that party's primary and vote.

An open primary is one in which voters can take part in either the Democratic or Republican nominating contests regardless of their party affiliation, as long as they are registered to vote. Voters registered with third-parties and independents are also allowed to take part in open primaries. They can vote for the least likely opposition candidate who could win a general election. Once that is done, they switch back to their normal party affiliation. See the corruption?

Democrats and Fair Elections

Democrats cannot develop election campaigns that “play by the rules.”

They have to cheat, and cheat they do. But that’s where state and local election boards are supposed to take over. These “bipartisan boards of elections” are tasked with assuring fair and honest elections.

The Michigan Board of Elections removed former Detroit police Chief James Craig and billionaire businessman Perry Johnson from the ballot. Including Craig and Johnson, five Republican governor candidates were kicked off the Michigan governor’s ballot.

That’s about the same as the umpire walking into the dugout and tossing five players off one team before the game even begins. Again, does this sound fair? It’s not. This decision leaves the Republican Party in Michigan without their top two candidates.

These local election officials make calls on a number of critical election rules. When the boards are stacked with radical progressives, the rules are slanted for their team. It’s cheating. This type of “homer” manipulation cost President Trump the 2020 election. It hasn’t stopped.

Michigan is stating that a good deal of the signatures on the petitions were fraudulent. I remember when we petitioned in Lake Worth to get something on the ballot and we had to get a minimum of 10% more than needed as undoubtedly signatures would be challenged as not matching those on record. Every time I vote, I wonder how they verify my signature.

The Michigan Board of Elections bureau, is part of Democrat Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson's department.

This is really unbelievable! It was posted last night! How can CBS12 be reporting the election results before election day? Or better yet, why is CBS12 reporting 100% precincts reporting 48 hours before the polls even open?

Candidates are very upset! Candidate Laura Loomer contacted them and they refused to take down the data--CBS flat out refused to take the page down saying it was a “system test” although there was no notice on that page of the results being a test.

"Lauren Boebert, whose forthright defense of the Second Amendment at a rally for former Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke brought her national attention, on Tuesday won a Republican congressional primary in Colorado.

President Donald Trump retweeted a post from Boebert in which she said, “I am a mother to 4 boys. My husband and I are raising them to be strong men!
