Tracy Caruso starting her campaign for 2026

Tracy Caruso Running for Florida HD 87 in 2026

Mike Caruso, her husband, is term limited in 2026.

"The Carusos, Florida Rep. Mike Caruso, R-West Palm Beach, and wife Tracy, are not a couple that let the grass grow under their feet. Mike’s wife, Tracy, declared for her husband’s seat just minutes after the couple announced his re-election at their watch party on Nov. 5th.

Mike Caruso, who was just reelected in Florida House District 87 by a massive 19 points, will be term-limited out in 2026.

Only a gadfly-type Republican would be crazy enough to run against Tracy in a primary because they’d get massacred. Tracy has a lot of friends, she campaigns hard, real hard, and she’ll raise a ton of money. On a personal note, I’ll pound any Republican Primary opponent of Tracy’s harder than my Grandma pounded veal cutlets."

Florida Budget 2020

A few highlights from Mike Caruso-

"Thursday, March 19th concluded the 2020 Legislative Session with a non-traditional Sine Die ceremony due to the Novel Covid-19 outbreak. Instead of the usual grand ceremony where the Sergeants from both the Senate and House drop the white handkerchiefs while lobbyists, elected officials and staff look on, the two Sergeants stood six feet away with just one camera recording while they dropped the handkerchiefs to the floor. It was followed by a telephonic media availability with Governor DeSantis, Speaker Oliva and President Galvano. Definitely not a normal close to the legislative session.

I believe this year’s $93.2 billion budget is fiscally responsible and prioritizes funding in the best interest of all Floridians. I'm sure the number one question about the budget will be how much is Florida going to spend on the Covid-19 response? We have budgeted $60.6 million for now and have over $4 billion in reserves if necessary."

State Rep Mike Caruso at City Hall

Mike Caruso, District 89, had one wild campaign in November 2018. He was narrowly elected with 50.02% of the vote, defeating Democrat Jim Bonfiglio. Caruso's margin of victory--just 32 votes--triggered both a machine and manual recount under Florida law.

He spoke in front of our city commission last night and was given kudos from the entire dais for all his hard work for Lake Worth. He co-authored, backed and sponsored an anti-semitism law and a Sober Home bill.

Mike Caruso wins his election

Florida House District 89 was won by Mike Caruso

 with the same 37-vote margin.

Republican Caruso is not in my district but he went door to door in Lake Worth campaigning to the more than 155,000 who live in the district that goes up the coast of Palm Beach County from North Palm Beach south to the Broward County line.
