After firing former second gentleman Douglas Emhoff and seven other Biden-era members from the US Holocaust Memorial Council, Donald Trump announced in May that he had finalized the 14 new appointments.

"I am pleased to announce that the Board of the Holocaust Memorial Council has been completely formed: Siggy Flicker, Tila Falic, Jackie Zeckman, Rabbi Nate Segal, Jonathan Burkan, Lee Lipton, Betty Schwartz, Fred Marcus, Rabbi Pinchos Lipschutz, Sid Rosenberg, Ariel Abergel, Barbara Feingold, Alex Witkoff, and Robert Garson," he wrote on Truth Social.

"They are all strong supporters of Israel, and will ensure we NEVER FORGET. Congratulations to all!"

One appointee who is familiar with all of us in Lake Worth Beach is Lee Lipton, the owner of Benny's on the Beach and Oceanwalk at the Lake Worth Beach Casino. He is also a member of Mar-A-Lago.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Council, which meets twice a year, consists of 55 members appointed by the president, as well as five members each from the Senate and House of Representatives and three ex-officio members from the Departments of Education, Interior and State.

CBS News Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan didn't embarrass herself enough when JD Vance was on. She felt it necessary to double down talking about Vance to Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

At issue is JD Vance defending free speech in Europe. Brennan claims free speech is what led Germany to the Holocaust. No, really. This is a thing that was said on the television. On a "news" program meant to inform. In 2025.

Rubio clapped back as the kids say, and was all like, "Free speech was not used to conduct a genocide. The genocide was conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime. There was no free speech in Nazi Germany. There was also no opposition in Nazi Germany. That’s not an accurate reflection of history."

This book led to the Holocaust and to World War II. This book was found a few days ago in northern Gaza, in a children’s room, which became a base used for terrorist activities by the terrorist organization Hamas,” Herzog told BBC.

He bore witness to the horrific suffering of the Jewish people during the Holocaust and spoke from the heart directly to the survivors, those men and women of indomitable strength and moral courage, calling them beacons shining a light of hope that dispels the darkness of hatred and evil.

President Trump denounced Holocaust deniers and anti-Semitism in all its forms, including on university campuses and in threats and attacks against Jewish communities and against the State of Israel.
