Iran attacked cargo ship at Strait of Hormuz

Iran Struck Cargo Ship in Strait of Hormuz, US Official Says

The U.N. International Maritime Organization said it would temporarily pause its evacuation operation pending further clarity.

Iranian forces attacked a cargo vessel in the Strait of Hormuz on June 24, according to a U.S. official who spoke with The Epoch Times.

The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) previously reported that a vessel was struck by “an unknown projectile” while operating off the coast of Oman, but did not attribute the attack to any particular nation-state or actor.

The UKMTO, which is operated by the British Royal Navy, said the projectile damaged the bridge of the vessel but reported no injuries or environmental impact as a result of the attack.

When reached for comment about the attack, a U.S. official said Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a drone at the vessel in question.

The U.N. International Maritime Organization paused its operation to escort ships through ‌the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday after Iranian forces attacked a cargo vessel in the Strait of Hormuz a day before.

Putin Fears Freedom, Not War?

Russian Drone Strikes Chernobyl!

In a shocking escalation, a Russian drone strike has hit the radiation shield covering the destroyed Chernobyl reactor, raising concerns over nuclear safety and Putin’s real intentions in this ongoing war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the attack, stating that the fire has been extinguished and that, for now, radiation levels remain stable. But the message from Moscow is crystal clear—Putin is not preparing for peace.

While President Donald Trump recently announced that Putin agreed to begin negotiations to end the war, this brazen attack tells a different story. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is now on high alert, monitoring for any further provocations as Russian forces continue their relentless assault on Ukraine’s infrastructure.

For decades, Putin has suppressed dissent, silenced opposition figures, and manipulated elections to maintain his iron grip over Russia. But a democratic, independent Ukraine, thriving on his border, is a living, breathing contradiction to the lie he tells his own people: that Russia needs a strongman to survive.

Hey Joe, Let's get Peace through Strength

Iran Thinks They Can Intrude On USS Eisenhower, Check Out What’s Flying Right Behind Them

The Iranians clearly showed their disregard for international law last week when they flew a drone directly over the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier strike group operating in the Persian Gulf, and none of their multiple warnings or hails were acknowledged. Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of Naval Forces Central Command, noted in a statement that the UAV flew directly against the safety precautions outlined in a daily Notice to Airmen (NOTAM).

The notice directs both manned and unmanned aircraft to stay more than 10 nautical miles from the carrier to ensure flight safety, yet this did not stop the Iranians from attempting to threaten the American fleet.

Although the Iranians were unaware of the fact that their drone was being closely tracked by a US Navy helicopter outfitted with an M240 machine gun capable of firing 7.62 mm rounds, the crew did not load the weapon.
