Ghost fleet tanker apprehended

U.S. Marines Seize Sanctioned Oil Tanker In Pre-Dawn Caribbean Raid

U.S. Marines and Sailors conducted a pre-dawn raid on Friday to seize a sanctioned oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea. The U.S. Southern Command confirmed that the vessel, the Motor Tanker Olina, was apprehended without incident.

The high-stakes operation was launched from the USS Gerald R. Ford. It involved a massive show of force from the Navy’s Amphibious Ready Group.

Joint Task Force Southern Spear coordinated with the Department of Homeland Security for the seizure. This marks the fifth such apprehension of a "ghost fleet" tanker in recent weeks.

The Olina had reportedly turned off its location tracker 52 days ago near Venezuela. It was flying the flag of Timor-Leste to evade detection by American authorities.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem issued a stern warning following the successful mission. “The world's criminals are on notice,” Noem wrote on X.

This latest action reinforces the "Don-roe Doctrine" of reasserting American dominance in the region. The White House maintains there is "no safe haven" for those violating international law.

Anti-Americans protest Navy's Blue Angels after 53 years

Climate activists demand end to US Navy's 'Blue Angels' airshow in Seattle

Protesters say Navy jets cause pollution and local woman sues squadron over cat's death

In Blue Sanctuary City Seattle, climate activists are protesting an upcoming U.S. Navy Blue Angels airshow, claiming the jets pollute the environment, while a local woman filed a lawsuit on Monday claiming the military jets traumatized her ailing cat.

The Blue Angels, the elite military flight demonstration team consisting of 140 active-duty Sailors and Marines, aims to "showcase the excitement, precision, and power of naval aviation" with their performances, now in their 79th year, the Blue Angels website says. The squadron has been performing at Seattle’s Seafair festival since 1972.

The Airshow Climate Action Coalition put up a billboard in Seattle this week declaring, "Say No to Blue Angels." The coalition, made up of members from local climate groups as well as the radical global climate group, Extinction Rebellion, is planning to march and hold a rally on August 2 in protest of the Blue Angels airshow that weekend.

USNS Harvey Milk to be renamed

Democrats Took the Bait: Theory Suggests Hegseth Trapped Dems with Harvey Milk Move

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth recently renamed a Navy ship that had honored gay activist and pederast Harvey Milk.

But rather than merely renaming the ship, Hegseth executed the move in such a way that the reputation of its former namesake would be tarnished forever, and rightly so.

The ship currently known as the USNS Harvey Milk was christened under now-former President Barack Obama in 2016.

Milk, an officer in the Navy, received a “less than honorable” discharge in 1955 before becoming an LGBT activist and winning election to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977.

Milk was also known for grooming and raping 16-year-old Jack Galen McKinley when Milk himself was a grown man.

“But by using this ship re-name as bait, they got Dems to make praising Harvey Milk a part of their national platform.” Poor Adam Shiff having heart palpatations.

A new name for the Harvey Milk was not given but, according to the memo, Hegseth and Phelan are planning to announce the new name aboard the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned Navy ship. Liberals are having a fit.

Naval capabilities strengthen border enforcement strategy

Navy destroyer aids U.S. border operation under Trump directive

A powerful U.S. Navy warship previously deployed to combat Houthi threats in the Red Sea takes on a new assignment along the southern border.

According to Fox News, the USS Gravely, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer, has been deployed from Naval Weapons Station Yorktown in Virginia to support President Trump's executive orders addressing illegal immigration and drug smuggling along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Pentagon's strategic deployment of USS Gravely aims to enhance maritime security operations and fill critical capability gaps in support of the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection.

This move represents a significant expansion of military resources dedicated to securing America's southern maritime boundary.

US Navy Destroyers Thwart Iranian Missile Threat To Israel

Dramatic scenes unfold as American warships engage in a high-stakes defensive operation.

As reported by Newsweek, the United States Navy has released video footage showcasing its destroyers intercepting Iranian ballistic missiles in defense of Israel.

The interception took place in the Mediterranean Sea on Tuesday, marking a significant escalation in regional tensions.

The operation involved two Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, the USS Bulkeley and USS Cole, which fired a total of twelve interceptors to counter the incoming Iranian missiles. This defensive action was part of a broader response to a barrage of approximately 200 ballistic missiles launched by Iran, targeting various locations in Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that the combined air defense systems of Israel and the United States successfully engaged 180 ballistic missiles fired from Iran. While acknowledging that some missiles did reach Israeli air bases, the IDF emphasized that the impacts were ineffective, resulting in no damage to Israeli air force aircraft.

Strategic Global Chess Move: Naval Manuevers Off The Coast of Cuba

US Navy Dispatches Destroyers To Monitor Russian Naval Flotilla Near Florida

"Tensions rise as the US Navy tracks Russian military vessels near American waters.

Daily Mail reported that the US deployed three destroyers and a submarine reconnaissance aircraft to monitor a Russian nuclear submarine and warship equipped with hypersonic weapons near American shores.

In a tense show of naval power, Russian warships equipped with advanced military technology passed just 25 miles from the South Florida coast, prompting the US Navy to initiate a tracking and surveillance mission.

The operation includes several key assets: the destroyers USS Truxtun, USS Donald Cook, and USS Delbert D. Black, alongside a submarine reconnaissance aircraft.

Their mission is to closely monitor the Russian flotilla led by Admiral Gorshkov, a frigate known for carrying Zircon hypersonic missiles."

A Different type of Navy in a Woke World

Navy SEALs Go Full Rainbow Drag Queen Spectacle During Pride Month

It just gets more stupid by the day!

A graphic celebrating Pride Month was shared by the United States Navy Special Warfare Command on its Facebook page on June 1. The image featured rainbow hues along with the organization’s emblem and the phrases “dignity,” “service,” “respect,” “equality,” and “pride.”

One of the top three liked comments under the post read:
  • “This is a slap in the face of every special warfare operator that has put their lives on the line for our nation.”
  • “Man, this woke stuff is like a cancer and needs to be dealt with as a threat to national security. It’s gone way too far.” While these two comments were met with approval from many users
  •  “I am so glad I got out before this bullsh*t took over.”

"The Pentagon likes to say ‘our diversity is our strength.’ What a bunch of garbage. In the military, our diversity is not our strength. Our unity is our strength, and we need a commander-in-chief that understands that. Donald Trump certainly does," Pete Hegseth said.

Our mayor believes that diversity is our strength but then, she is a Democrat.

Navy says it urgently needs $1 Billion in Munitions

Navy seeks urgent replenishment of $1B in munitions spent countering Iran-led attacks in Middle East

The Navy urgently needs Congress to pass a stalled national security spending plan to replenish the nearly $1 billion in munitions spent to counter attacks by Iran and its proxies in the Middle East in the past six months, the Navy secretary said Tuesday.

Expenditures on munitions have skyrocketed since October, when the Hamas-Israeli war started in the Gaza Strip. U.S. forces continue to guard Navy and commercial ships in the Red Sea from Houthi rebel attacks, and American service members helped shoot down missiles launched over the weekend by Iran against Israel.

“It’s critical for Congress to pass a supplemental [spending bill] this week so that we could actually get the additional resources to be able to supplement those munitions,” Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro said during testimony to a subpanel of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

The Defense budget is $29 billion more than last year. China, Europe, and cheap drones all figure heavily in the new spending. The Navy has been firing SM-2 missiles, SM-6 missiles and most recently SM-3 missiles to counter the ballistic missile threat from Iran.

Never underestimate the enemy. Especially one backed directly by Iran

Admiral Downplayed Threat, But Houthis Severed Undersea Cables

By Paul Crespo, February 27, 2024

"ANALYSIS – I was surprised when in mid-February the commander of the Office of U.S. Naval Intelligence (ONI), Rear Adm. Michael Brookes, publicly downplayed the threat that Iranian-sponsored Houthi rebels in Yemen might slice a web of undersea communications cables in the region, saying it was unrealistic.

This, after the Iran-backed terror group, and its ally, Hezbollah, had posted veiled threats to do so on social media in December, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute.

The threatening posts featured maps of the Red Sea area, including the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, where fiber-optic cables run, jeopardizing communications and financial data between Europe and Asia.

And now, these terrorists have done just that. This, despite, or maybe enabled by, Joe Biden's limp-wristed military response to their constant attacks in the region."

Hey Joe, Let's get Peace through Strength

Iran Thinks They Can Intrude On USS Eisenhower, Check Out What’s Flying Right Behind Them

The Iranians clearly showed their disregard for international law last week when they flew a drone directly over the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier strike group operating in the Persian Gulf, and none of their multiple warnings or hails were acknowledged. Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of Naval Forces Central Command, noted in a statement that the UAV flew directly against the safety precautions outlined in a daily Notice to Airmen (NOTAM).

The notice directs both manned and unmanned aircraft to stay more than 10 nautical miles from the carrier to ensure flight safety, yet this did not stop the Iranians from attempting to threaten the American fleet.

Although the Iranians were unaware of the fact that their drone was being closely tracked by a US Navy helicopter outfitted with an M240 machine gun capable of firing 7.62 mm rounds, the crew did not load the weapon.

US Destroyer Intercepts Missiles

United States stands by Israel

In an alarming sign of global military escalation showing America must stand by its allies, a US warship saved Israel from a massive rocket strike by shooting down cruise missiles fired by Iranian proxies in Yemen.

A US Naval Destroyer in the Red Sea shot down three missiles fired by Houthi rebels from Yemen, according to the Pentagon, as cited by The Independent.

While the Pentagon isn’t sure of the missiles’ target, they mentioned the rockets might have been heading toward Israel. In addition to the missiles, the US forces also took down several drones.

This US military action occurred Thursday and involved the USS Carney, a guided-missile destroyer in the Red Sea between Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. [reclaimingamerica.net]

Seymour Hersh alleges the US Navy blew up the Nord Stream Pipeline

Pulitzer winner Seymour Hersh claims US Navy behind Nord Stream 2 pipeline explosion

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh has alleged US Navy divers laid bombs that destroyed the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline under the Baltic Sea last September, drawing a denial from the Pentagon Wednesday.

Hersh, who scooped journalism’s top award more than five decades ago for exposing the My Lai massacre of Vietnamese civilians by US troops in 1968, cited an unnamed source in reporting on Substack that Americans planted remotely triggered explosives that wrecked three of the four pipelines built to carry natural gas from Russia to Europe.

Hersh, 85, went on to claim that the Navy conducted the operation under the cover of a NATO maritime exercise, BALTOPS 22.

Naval Test Explosion off Florida

Another massive explosion off Florida hits 3.9 on Richter scale

The United States Geological Survey measured another incident off the coast of Florida on Friday that hit 3.9 on the Richter scale.

It listed it as “experimental explosion” located about 100 miles northeast of Daytona Beach. It’s the same rating that happened on June 18 when the Navy set off a test explosion near its new aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford.

Biden now will reduce our Navy fleet

Military experts express grave concerns over Biden’s goals for the U.S. Navy

Navy’s firepower degraded...Biden reverting to Obama approach of "Divest to Invest" that never worked

The report noted that in addition to abandoning Trump's goal of building 500 new naval vessels by 2045, this year’s “budget blueprint also proposes a 9% degradation in the fleet’s overall firepower.”

Sen. Susan Collins said that China “now has the world’s largest navy, has about 60 more ships than our own fleet, and has surpassed our own 355-ship goal.”

“The Office of Naval Intelligence projects that China will have 400 battle-force ships by the year 2025,” she added, remarking that the United States presently has just 296 ships in its fleet, far short of the requirement set forth by Congress that the U.S. Navy has at least 355 ships in service.
