Joe Biden has openly voiced his goals of eliminating fossil fuels and his administrative actions to date have left the U.S. energy world reeling. He continued his assault on America’s energy independence in recent actions by weaponizing wildlife protection laws.

Biden’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) imposed last-minute restrictions on an upcoming offshore oil and gas lease sale that spans millions of acres across the Gulf of Mexico. The lease was set to open next week before Biden’s BOEM shut it down.

The action didn’t sit well with a federal judge who struck down the administrative action. Judge James Cain of the Western District of Louisiana granted a preliminary injunction. He ruled that the federal government must proceed with the lease sale by Sept. 30 under its original conditions.

Renewables offer NO energy independence, as America has never imported electricity from foreign countries. Wind and solar just generate intermittent electricity.

Further, the raw materials that are essential for building EV batteries, wind turbines, and solar panels, are increasingly dependent on the supply chain of exotic minerals and metals being mined in developing countries with miniscule labor or environmental regulations.

With America representing only four percent of the world’s population, the elite leaders desire to have America’s emissions lowered to reduce its impact on the world’s climate, is like that of someone poring a bucket of hot water into the ocean and claiming that it will change the temperature of the entire ocean!"

Biden Admits To Killing Coal Industry In Public Statement

While the United States continues to struggle with energy issues, President Joe Biden bragged at a Wednesday speech in Chicago, Illinois, that no new coal-fired power plants would be built. In the video of his address, Biden boasted that the administration’s economic and energy policies had discouraged the construction of new coal-fired power plants while praising the benefits of green energy technologies.

His comments come a month after a report from the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, published in May 2023, warned that if temperatures this summer are above average, the power grids serving most of the Northeast and a majority of people to the West of the Mississippi face the high possibility of rolling blackouts.

A high-ranking official with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) expressed concern in early June that “dire” and “catastrophic consequences” might occur if the Biden administration continued to push for the end of fossil fuels before green energy was able to feed the U.S. power grid adequately.

Biden admin issues 20-year oil drilling ban near Indigenous site, ignoring pleas from Native Americans

The Navajo Nation said its members would be 'pushed into greater poverty' if the Biden admin moved forward with the action

The Biden administration is moving forward with a 20-year ban on new oil and gas leasing near an Indigenous cultural site in New Mexico despite stark opposition from Native Americans in the region.

Interior Secretary Deb Haaland finalized the action Friday which bans fossil fuel and mineral leasing within a 10-mile buffer zone around the Chaco Culture National Historical Park in northwestern New Mexico. The ban ultimately amounts to a withdrawal of approximately 336,404 acres of public lands from mineral leasing near the site some Native Americans consider sacred.

Overall, there are currently 53 Indian allotments located in the so-called 10-mile buffer zone around Chaco Canyon, generating $6.2 million per year in royalties for an estimated 5,462 allottees, according to Navajo Nation data. In addition, there are 418 unleased allotments in the zone that are associated with 16,615 allottees.

According to the Western Energy Alliance, an industry group that represents producers in the area, if the proposal is finalized and implemented, Navajo members would lose an estimated $194 million over the next 20 years.

Biden has purposely managed to make every American poorer over the last few years as he implements his Green New Deal.

Biden EPA proposal on 'fossil fuel' power plant emissions would force many existing plants to shut down

The EPA's proposed rule would require existing and new power plants to dramatically reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 90 percent, using currently inefficient and cost-prohibitive so-called "carbon capture" technology, or be shut down by 2035, The Epoch Times reported.

A press release from the EPA on Thursday announced the new proposed carbon pollution standards for fossil fuel-fired power plants and put forward a number of broad estimates of the alleged benefits in terms of climate change and health.

"By proposing new standards for fossil fuel-fired power plants, EPA is delivering on its mission to reduce harmful pollution that threatens people’s health and well-being," EPA Administrator Michael Regan said. "EPA’s proposal relies on proven, readily available technologies to limit carbon pollution and seizes the momentum already underway in the power sector to move toward a cleaner future."

I would guess this is why the tree huggers in our city want the Electric Utility Director fired.

Another significant roadblock for the EPA's proposal is its legality, given that just last year the Supreme Court smacked down a similar proposal that dated back to the Obama administration and ruled that the EPA had overstepped its boundaries and had not been authorized by Congress to enact such sweeping regulations on the energy sector.

GOP bill to increase energy production

New GOP-Led Energy Bill Calls For Sweeping Changes

This past Thursday, the Republican-led House pushed through a sweeping bill that seeks to cause a rapid increase in domestic energy production and the easing permitting restrictions.

A group of four Democrats joined up with the vast majority of the GOP side of the aisle in voting for Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA)’s legislation, the “Lower Energy Costs Act,” which finalized in a vote of 225-204. Six members elected to not vote in the end.

Republicans made the argument that the legislation would make the United States rely far less on foreign countries to secure its natural gas and oil. Scalise stated that his bill would “unleash American energy production” and slash the “insane permitting red tape so families can see lower prices” put in place by President Joe Biden.

What has caused the decline in our country is Joe Biden and his blocking of American energy production.

"Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) is not happy with his fellow Democrats.

Manchin broke several promises to help Joe Biden get his massive spending bills passed. He did so to try to get a pipeline in place in West Virginia.

After he betrayed his supporters, Manchin was then betrayed, and now he is looking for payback.

Virtually the entire Democrat Party is trying to end the fossil fuel industry. For Manchin, that is not acceptable because it would crush West Virginia’s economy. Manchin stated, “This is bulls–t.

“So, they’re going to basically starve us out of energy that we have a tremendous, abundant supply of because of their aspirational thoughts.

“I will continue to fight, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure the public knows what they’re doing and what it will do to you and your economy and your lifestyle.”

Biden has also screwed him on electric vehicle credits, now asking for more stringent requirements before allowing the credits. Manchin stated that he has been “raising hell” over this, but it is all falling on deaf ears.
