A sworn affidavit filed by Comey's defense lawyer Patrick Fitzgerald reveals that an FBI case agent called Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano, the former underboss of the Gambino crime family, on May 8, 2026, to discuss an upcoming interview about Comey's now-deleted Instagram post. During that call, Gravano told the agent he believed Comey "had to know" what the term "86" meant "as it related to killing someone."

Comey faces two federal charges in U.S. District Court in eastern North Carolina: threatening the president and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce. The charges stem from a photo he posted to Instagram in May 2025 showing seashells arranged on a beach to spell out "86 47", a phrase prosecutors say was a reference to killing the 47th president, Donald Trump. The Department of Justice filed the charges in April.

Gravano called the post a 'call for violence', but Fitzgerald filed the affidavit anyway.

In a separate 25-minute recorded interview, Gravano told the FBI that "86" generally means to "get rid of" someone and that to him, as a "gangster," it means "to kill." He went further: Gravano characterized Comey's seashell post as a "call for violence against President Trump," using the blunt phrase "let's kill Trump" to describe what he believed the message conveyed.

The affidavit notes one distinction Gravano drew. He did not claim Comey's post was a statement threatening that Comey would personally kill the president. In Gravano's reading, it was a general incitement, not a direct personal threat.

Man threatens Judge Jeanine with assassination

Long Island man arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro

A New York man who allegedly posted videos to X threatening to "put a bullet" in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's head, and suggested he might kill President Trump, has been arrested on federal charges.

Daniel Kretsinger, of Hauppauge, New York, was taken into custody August 11 after a federal criminal complaint charged him with transmitting a threat to injure a person across state lines, a charge that carries up to five years in federal prison.

A magistrate judge then released Kretsinger to an inpatient psychiatric treatment program over the government's objection, a decision that drew sharp criticism from Pirro's office.

The case centers on two videos Kretsinger allegedly posted to X on June 30. In one, the New York Post reported, Kretsinger appeared shirtless and visibly agitated, directing profanity-laced threats at Pirro, the top federal prosecutor in the nation's capital.

Kretsinger told investigators he traveled three states looking for Pirro. The federal charge of transmitting a threat to injure a person across state lines carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

The criminal complaint was filed earlier in August in the Eastern District of New York. The specific federal statute cited in the charge was not identified in public reporting.

Jordan W. Rincker, 28, of Missouri, was arrested Sunday and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, Just the News reported. A criminal complaint unsealed in the Western District of Missouri accuses Rincker of playing a logistical role in the plot, accepting a $1,200 payment from alleged ringleader Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez and transferring $100 to co-conspirator Bryan Omar Roa to fund his travel to the nation's capital.

Rincker's arrest came alongside that of William Lee Spartacus Falkner of Belfair, Washington, bringing the total number of people facing federal charges to seven, the Washington Times reported. The defendants are scattered across Ohio, Missouri, Nebraska, California, and Washington state, a geographic footprint that underscores the distributed, internet-driven nature of the alleged conspiracy.

The alleged scheme targeted President Trump's June 14 UFC event on the White House grounds. Conspirators planned to fly explosive-laden drones into the event and buildings nearby, then shoot panicked crowd members as they fled.

A "second wave" was allegedly planned to storm the White House gate, the New York Post reported, citing the unsealed complaint.

Federal prosecutors stated that "members of the conspiracy allegedly agreed to commit murder on the White House grounds and surrounding area during the UFC Freedom 250 event."

Gavin Newsom posted a video and declared himself Donald Trump's most feared political target. He called his mounting legal problems a witch hunt, a presidential vendetta, and his first step toward 2028.

There is just one problem with that story, and it has nothing to do with Trump. Biden's Prosecutors Were Already Inside Newsom's Circle. Newsom's former chief of staff Dana Williamson knows exactly how this investigation started.

In May, Williamson pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, wire fraud, filing a false tax return, and making false statements to federal agents. When Williamson was indicted, her attorney revealed that federal agents had first approached her during the Biden administration asking if she would cooperate in an investigation of the governor.

Williamson refused to cooperate. They charged her anyway. Federal authorities confirmed the investigation into Williamson launched in 2022 – Biden's second year in office.

The Williamson case – which produced a guilty plea tied to stealing $225,000 from gubernatorial candidate Xavier Becerra's campaign account – subsequently pulled other members of Newsom's political circle into its orbit.

So Gavin Newsom is publicly arguing that a Biden administration investigation into him is actually a Trump witch hunt.

Portland anti-ICE protester gets 30 months in federal prison for rock attack on officer

A Portland man who hurled a rock at a federal officer's head during an anti-ICE protest last June will spend the next two and a half years in prison. U.S. District Judge Adrienne Nelson sentenced Robert Jacob Hoopes on Thursday to 30 months in federal prison, three years of supervised release, and more than $8,000 in restitution after he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault of a federal employee with a dangerous weapon.

The sentence marks the most significant prison term yet to come out of the months-long siege of Portland's U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building, a facility that has drawn nightly demonstrations since last summer. And it sends a straightforward message from federal prosecutors: throw a rock at a cop, go to prison.

Court documents detailed what happened. During a protest outside the Portland ICE building last June, Hoopes threw a rock that struck an officer in the head, opening a gash above the officer's eye. Fox News reported that prosecutors described the injury as "significant." The officer's name has not been publicly released.

What started as a protest over conditions at Delaney Hall in Newark has turned into something much bigger. The scene outside the ICE detention facility has turned into a loud, messy clash between competing political groups, with state officials now saying outside activists are helping drive the unrest.

The protest picked up steam after detainees wrote an open letter claiming they were being mistreated inside the center. They alleged physical and psychological abuse, along with bad food and a lack of medical care. The Department of Homeland Security pushed back fast, saying the claims did not match what was being served inside. Officials released menus showing detainees receive three meals a day, including items like chicken fajitas and Salisbury steak.

Tensions boiled over earlier in the week when federal agents were reportedly assaulted by agitators. After that, Democrat Gov. Mikie Sherrill ordered the New Jersey State Police to take over security. She said the move was needed to protect demonstrators from what she called an “ICE surge.”

By Saturday, the area around Delaney Hall looked more like a fortified zone than a protest site. Large orange plastic barriers and metal fencing surrounded the building. State officials also said much of the unrest was being fueled by people coming in from outside New Jersey. State Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said five of the six people arrested by state police this week were not from the state.

The FBI has arrested hundreds of suspects and seized more than $8 billion in cryptocurrency, the largest forfeiture in U.S. government history, in a sweeping intercontinental operation targeting organized crime networks that ran fortified scam compounds across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

The crackdown, led by FBI Director Kash Patel, dismantled a web of fraud factories that lured victims through romance schemes, fake cryptocurrency investments, and extortion, all while trafficking migrant workers and forcing them to run the scams under threat of beatings and torture.

At the center of the operation sits 39 year old Chen Zhi, CEO of Cambodia's Prince Holding Group, who now faces federal charges of wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy.

Agents confiscated more than 127,000 bitcoin from Chen, a haul Fox News reported could be worth more than $15 billion at the time of seizure, depending on market valuations.

Pennsylvania man who announced Senate bid against Fetterman now jailed on federal death-threat charges

A 40-year-old Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, man who declared on YouTube earlier this year that he would challenge Sen. John Fetterman in 2028 is now sitting in a federal jail cell, indicted on five counts of threatening to kill the president, members of Congress, and ICE agents.

Raymond Eugene Chandler III faces up to 50 years in prison and $1.25 million in fines after authorities say he left a string of voicemails on congressional phone lines advocating violence against federal officials and their families.

U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti announced the indictment, which charges Chandler with influencing, impeding, or retaliating against federal officials and federal law enforcement officers by threat.

Each of the five counts carries a maximum sentence of 10 years and a $250,000 fine. A judge has ordered Chandler to remain in custody while the case proceeds.

The charges land at a moment when threats against public officials, from both ends of the political spectrum, have become a persistent security concern. But the details alleged in this indictment are unusually specific, and unusually chilling.

Anti-Weaponization Fund established for benefit of Americans

Trump settles $10 billion IRS lawsuit, secures apology and $1.776 billion fund for Americans targeted by government

President Trump dismissed his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS on Monday in exchange for a formal government apology and the creation of a $1.776 billion compensation fund open to any American who believes federal agencies were turned against them for political reasons, including, remarkably, Hunter Biden.

The settlement, reported by the New York Post, resolves a case Trump, his sons Don Jr. and Eric, and the Trump Organization filed on January 29 after the government failed to protect their confidential tax returns from being leaked to the New York Times in 2019.

In its place now stands the Justice Department Anti-Weaponization Fund, a board-governed mechanism designed to hear claims, issue apologies, and distribute monetary relief to people who were unfairly targeted by any administration.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the fund's formation Monday with a statement that left little ambiguity about the settlement's purpose.

"The machinery of government should never be weaponized against any American, and it is this Department's intention to make right the wrongs that were previously done while ensuring this never happens again."

Trump and his family receive no compensation from the fund. They get the apology. Everyone else, from January 6 defendants to political targets of prior administrations, gets a place in line.

The deal is not cost-free for the president. Monday's settlement requires Trump to withdraw claims related to the FBI's August 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago and the FBI investigation into alleged collusion between his 2016 campaign and the Russian government. Those are two of the most politically significant episodes of his first term, and they are now off the table as legal claims.

A spokesman for Trump's legal team framed the trade-off in characteristically forward-looking terms.

"President Trump is entering into this settlement squarely for the benefit of the American people, and he will continue his fight to hold those who wrong America and Americans accountable."

"The point of this isn't to make every January 6-er a millionaire. The point is to compensate, and to give entitled people back some of their dignity and some of what they lost, including money, whether it's for legal fees or other costs associated with what they went through."

North Carolina's State Board of Elections has identified approximately 34,000 deceased individuals still listed on the state's voter rolls, a discovery that came only after officials cross-referenced more than 7.3 million voter records against a federal database.

The finding, which the board's own executive director called "higher than we anticipated," raises pointed questions about how long those names sat untouched and what other states might find if they bothered to look.

The board submitted the records to the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements database earlier this month as part of an initiative to strengthen the accuracy of its registration lists, Fox News reported. The effort came amid a broader Trump administration push to compel states to open their voter-registration data to federal review, a push that has already triggered lawsuits against at least 30 states and the District of Columbia.

Federal law already requires states to remove deceased individuals from their voter rolls. That North Carolina needed a federal database match to flag 34,000 of them tells you how well the existing system was working on its own.

What the numbers show--The NCSBE submitted 7,397,734 voter records to the SAVE database, Newsmax reported. Officials said the gaps in the state's normal list-maintenance process allowed deceased voters who had moved out of North Carolina and later died in another state to slip through the cracks entirely.

The so-called “Big Three” networks are CBS, ABC, and NBC, all pioneers in television entertainment and news coverage. It didn’t go unnoticed this week that only CBS told its audience a federal grand jury handed down an 11-count indictment against the controversial Alabama-based organization.

“The Justice Department charged the organization with fraud for allegedly misleading donors and lying to financial institutions,” Jan Crawford, the news network’s chief legal correspondent, states in the two-minute news segment.

Tim Graham, of the Media Research Center, told AFN the media watchdog was watching when ABC and NBC ignored the news.

Democrats count non-citizens for House seat apportionment

That's right, true to form and keeping on-brand, the Democrats have been caught stealing again.

More specifically, they have robbed Republicans of 18 seats in the United States House of Representatives by counting non-citizens in the U.S. Census.

This is expressly why Joe Biden, Barack Obama (the man behind the curtain making the Corpse of Biden dance) engineered the illegal entry of 12-20 million illegal aliens in his disastrous four-year run.

Federal law currently bases House seat apportionment on total population instead of citizenship, meaning illegal aliens and other non-citizens are included in the numbers used to allocate seats and Electoral College votes.

This system has shifted dozens of House seats over time, redistributing political power toward states with larger non-citizen populations. Republican legislators have warned that counting illegals “destroys equal representation” and gives disproportionate influence to states that give them "sanctuary." But congress has done nothing to fix it.

The right to representation belongs to American citizens, not foreign nationals who have no legal right to vote.

Until Congress ends this insanity and ensures only citizens are counted for purposes of representation, the voice of every lawful American voter will remain muted by a system that rewards illegal presence and effectively cancels out citizenship. [Strictly Speaking]

Feds have lost Minnesota

Mass resignations leave questions about government’s ability to prosecute fraud in Minnesota

Federal prosecutors have resigned from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Minnesota, and officials have provided few details about whether they are equipped to prosecute fraud.

Under Gov. Tim Walz, Minnesota has developed a national reputation for its failure to stop the large-scale welfare fraud that has occurred in the state. The topic has become such a big political issue that Walz was essentially ushered into an early retirement because of it.

The fraud saga includes the $250 million Feeding Our Future scheme as well as fraud in state-run, Medicaid-funded programs. Last year, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minnesota estimated that fraud in those state-run programs could exceed $9 billion since 2018.

Both the discovery and prosecution of that fraud have come from federal, not state, entities. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minnesota has charged and convicted dozens of individuals in connection with the fraud; the overwhelming majority of whom are Somali.

However, the U.S. Attorney’s Office was recently decimated after the office’s top fraud prosecutor resigned in January alongside other federal prosecutors. Today, the Minnesota Star Tribune has reported that even more federal prosecutors have resigned.

Earlier this month, CBS reported that the Pentagon is planning to send military attorneys to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Minnesota to assist with fraud prosecutions. CBS reported that the military attorneys’ assignment would begin in March.

700 Federal agents leaving Minneapolis

White House border czar Tom Homan announced Wednesday that the federal government is drawing down hundreds of law enforcement personnel deployed to Minnesota, citing what he described as “unprecedented cooperation” from state and local authorities.

Speaking at a morning press conference in Minneapolis, Homan said approximately 700 federal agents would be leaving the Twin Cities immediately, with the goal of eventually completing a full withdrawal of federal personnel from the area.

Homan said the drawdown follows recent meetings with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, during which he urged state and local officials to allow county jails to notify federal authorities before releasing illegal immigrants from custody.

Homan emphasized that federal officials are not asking local governments to hold detainees longer than legally permitted or to carry out immigration enforcement themselves.
