DeLauro fights with Lee Zelden

Zeldin Clashes With DeLauro Over EPA

A House hearing on the EPA budget turned into a loud, ugly exchange on Monday when Administrator Lee Zeldin pushed back against Rep. Rosa DeLauro over climate policy and the agency’s legal authority.

The fight came down to one basic question: how far can the EPA go when Congress has not clearly given it that power?

Zeldin was on Capitol Hill to testify about President Trump’s 2027 budget request, which would cut the EPA’s budget sharply if Congress approves it. DeLauro came out swinging, accusing him of ignoring Americans and making excuses for polluters. Zeldin answered with a simple point: he said he was following the law, not freelancing from the agency chair.

He pointed to Section 202 of the Clean Air Act and argued that it does not give the EPA a blank check to run the country’s climate agenda. That quickly turned the exchange from a budget hearing into a full-blown showdown.

Purple haired psycho Rep. Rosa DeLauro went BERSERK on EPA Admin Lee Zeldin because he’s not a climate change cultist.
She starts becoming VISIBLY DISTURBED and says: “You do NOT have the right to say climate change is a hoax!” 😭

China and Democrats against our new EPA emissions rule

EPA Repeals Biden-Era Power Plant Emissions Rule as China and Senate Democrats Both Push to Keep It

The Environmental Protection Agency announced Friday that it is repealing Biden-era amendments to the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards, rolling back 2024 regulations that the Trump administration argues would have strangled America's coal sector. The repeal will save an estimated $670 million.

The earlier MATS rules, including the original 2012 rule and the 2020 Trump EPA rule that reaffirmed it, will remain in place. EPA Deputy Administrator David Fotouhi said in a statement that those existing standards are "fully protective of human health risks."

What makes this story remarkable isn't the policy itself. It's who lined up against it.

According to the Daily Caller, on Aug. 11, 2025, the People's Republic of China submitted a public comment to the EPA opposing the repeal. Beijing's government told American regulators, in writing, that it wanted the Biden-era restrictions kept in place.

When Beijing objects to a deregulatory action that benefits American energy producers, the policy is probably working.

Carnival wants relief from Environmental crimes/fines

Carnival hires D.C. lobbying firm to seek ‘relief’ from Trump regime for past environmental crimes

Yet as billions in revenue keep rolling in, redemption for the titanic company’s environmental sins have seemed less than urgent to chairman Micky Arison and his management crew.

Why? It’s a long and dirty story.

In 2017, Miami-based Carnival was fined a record $40 million after pleading guilty to federal felony charges that one of its Princess Cruise Lines vessels deliberately dumped thousands of gallons of oil-contaminated waste into the ocean near England and then falsified records to try and cover it up.

Two years later, Carnival and Princess got hit with another $20 million criminal penalty after admitting to six violations of probation “attributable to senior Carnival management” that included discharging plastic waste in Bahamian waters and for interfering with court-ordered independent inspections.

In 2022, Princess was fined an additional $1 million after pleading guilty to a second violation of probation for failing to establish an independent internal investigative office.

Carnival’s continued failure to fix the problem reflects “a culture that seeks to minimize or avoid information that is negative, uncomfortable, or threatening to the company, including top leadership (i.e. the Board of Directors, C-Suite executives and Brand Presidents/CEOs),” the court-appointed monitor and independent third-party auditor told U.S. District Judge Patricia Seitz in an October 2021 letter.

In July 2025, in a much-smaller offense that has gone largely unnoticed, the California Air Resources Board assessed a $28,000 penalty against Carnival’s Princess Cruise Lines for failing to use fuel within the state’s sulfur content limits when two of its ships entered the ports of San Diego and Los Angeles.

At the same time, perhaps seeking to get in on the action as President Trump wields his clemency power to help both human and corporate criminals, Carnival has hired a Washington lobbying firm to seek “administrative relief for environmental violations issued by EPA and DOJ.”

Appeals Court ruled that the EPA can reclaim $16 billion

Appeals Court Allows Trump Administration to Reclaim $16 Billion in Climate Grants Rushed Out by Biden Officials

Every good con artist knows the secret: get the money moving before anyone looks too closely at the books. It’s the oldest trick in Washington’s playbook, and the outgoing Biden administration played it like virtuosos in their final days.

Twenty billion dollars here, sixteen billion there – pretty soon you’re talking about real money, as they say. But what happens when someone finally decides to check the receipts?

The Biden administration’s final weeks resembled nothing so much as a clearance sale at a corrupt bank. With the clock ticking down to Trump’s inauguration, bureaucrats worked overtime (on our dime, naturally) to shovel nearly $20 billion in taxpayer funds out the door to their favorite “climate” organizations.

No real oversight, no accountability measures, just a desperate rush to move the money before the new sheriff arrived in town. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin would later describe it perfectly: they were “throwing gold bars off the Titanic.”

But hey, who’s counting when it’s not your money, right?

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit didn’t just overturn a lower court’s ruling – it delivered a crushing blow to the scheme that had tried to Trump-proof billions in taxpayer money.

The GAO has no authority to stop Trump’s agenda

Government watchdog weaponized against Donald Trump

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an independent agency that serves as a government watchdog for Congress. GAO officials are supposed to audit and evaluate the federal government to ensure it runs efficiently.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) warned that the GAO is another part of the “Deep State resistance” waging war on President Donald Trump’s agenda.

The GAO waded into a debate over Senate procedure to prevent Congress from overturning California’s ban on the sale of gas-powered vehicles by 2035.

Using the Congressional Review Act, Congress can overturn the waiver that the Biden Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave California to ban gas-powered cars with a simple majority in the House and Senate, avoiding a Senate filibuster by Democrats.

The GAO, which is still run by an appointee of former President Barack Obama, falsely claimed that the Biden EPA’s waiver wasn’t a rule subject to the Congressional Review Act.

Greehouse Gas Reduction Fund Scam

Free Press exposes Biden admin’s environmental ‘slush fund’ for doling out $20B to former Democrat officials

CV NEWS FEED // After President Donald Trump was elected but before he was inaugurated, $20 billion of the Biden administration’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund was rapidly doled out to eight environmental nonprofits, many of which are run by former Democrat officials.

An analysis published March 4 by The Free Press reported that Lee Zeldin, the Trump administration’s new EPA administrator, is trying to recover the money.

“The Biden administration used so-called ‘climate equity’ to justify handouts of billions of dollars to their far-left friends,” Zeldin told the Free Press. “It is my utmost priority to get a handle on every dollar that went out the door in this scheme and once again restore oversight and accountability over these funds. This rush job operation is riddled with conflicts of interest and corruption.”

Former President Joe Biden founded the $27 billion fund, overseen by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in the spring of 2023. Two of the eight nonprofits that received the money right before Trump’s inauguration were formed shortly after Biden announced the fund.

Trump didn't call him "Crooked" for nothing.

$5 billion grant from Biden to Green Organization Anti-Trumpers

Biden granted billions to 'green' org whose top execs gave generously to Dems

In 2024 the EPA awarded the Coalition for Green Capital a $5 BILLION grant to create an NGO "Green Bank" outside congressional control.

Top executives of a green organization that the Biden Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) selected to receive billions in public funds have collectively made hundreds of thousands of dollars in personal political donations to Democratic candidates and organizations in recent years, a Daily Caller News Foundation review of Federal Election Commission (FEC) data found.

The Biden EPA chose the Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) as an awardee of $5 billion in taxpayer funds through the administration's massive Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) program in April 2024.

Reed Hundt, the CGC's former CEO and chairman and Richard Kauffman — the group's CEO who replaced Hundt in January — hav personally donated thousands of dollars to Democrats.

Notably, Hundt's personal account on X featured numerous anti-Trump posts — including ones endorsing efforts to remove Trump from the ballot — before it was deleted. Hundt did not respond to a request for comment.

Biden EPA appointee compared taxpayer funds to gold bars

EPA leader Zeldin uncovers Biden's alleged 20 billion dollar wasteful spending scheme

A shocking revelation by the Environmental Protection Agency administrator exposes alleged financial mismanagement under the previous administration.

According to Fox News, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced the discovery of $20 billion in taxpayer money that he claims was deliberately mishandled by the Biden administration and stored at an undisclosed financial institution.

The controversy emerged following a video that surfaced two months ago showing a Biden EPA political appointee making concerning statements about rushing to spend billions in taxpayer funds before the presidential transition.

Zeldin's team has launched an investigation into what he describes as an unprecedented scheme to hastily allocate funds with minimal oversight.

The EPA administrator quoted the appointee's words, which compared the rushed distribution of taxpayer money to throwing gold bars off the Titanic before it sank.

Zeldin explained that this financial maneuver was unprecedented in EPA history, suggesting it was deliberately designed to quickly obligate money while avoiding standard oversight procedures before the change in administration.

More Biden Corruption

Lee Zeldin Discovers $20 Billion EPA Slush Fund for Climate Grifting

EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said in a video released on Wednesday night that his agency has discovered an unprecedented scheme that was utilized by the Biden administration to funnel money to far-Left activist groups.

“An extremely disturbing video circulated two months ago featuring a Biden EPA political appointee talking about how they were ‘tossing gold bars off the Titanic,’ rushing to get billions of your tax dollars out the door before Inauguration Day,” Zeldin said.

He continued, “The gold bars were tax dollars, and tossing them off the Titanic meant the Biden administration knew they were wasting it.”

Zeldin said that he has contacted the U.S. Justice Department and the inspector general.

Biden enforcing its radical Climate Agenda

California’s Gas Car Ban: The Left’s Last Futile Stand Against Trump

The Biden administration, in what can only be described as a final “Hail Mary” to enforce its radical climate agenda, has weaponized the EPA to approve California’s infamous gas car sales ban.

This last-minute maneuver is conveniently timed just before President-elect Trump takes office, ensuring maximum chaos for the incoming administration and everyday Americans.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) granted California two waivers under the Clean Air Act, allowing the state to phase out gas-powered car sales by 2035. Of course, this affects far more than California.

Thanks to California’s self-appointed role as the de facto ruler of U.S. emissions policies, the other 17 states that blindly follow its lead—and effectively the entire country—are being dragged into this electrified dystopia.

This sweeping mandate doesn’t just target California; it will force automakers nationwide to cater to these rules since no car manufacturer can afford to design vehicles for just one state.

Good Neighbor Rule wasn't so neighborly

Supreme Court strikes down EPA's "good neighbor" rule on emissions

The Biden administration suffered a legal setback this week when the Supreme Court struck down a major Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rule.

According to Fox News, the case concerns something called the "good neighbor rule," under which the EPA restricts smokestack emissions from power plants and other industrial sources that float into neighboring states. "The government sought to impose a single, uniform federal plan."

"The Clean Air Act envisions States and the federal government working together to improve air quality. Under that law's terms, States bear primary responsibility for developing plans to achieve air-quality goals," Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in the majority opinion released on Thursday.

"Should a State fail to prepare a legally compliant plan, however, the federal government may sometimes step in and assume that authority for itself," he continued.

The lawmakers further insisted that the good neighbor rule and other Biden administration policies "are designed to hurriedly rid the U.S. power sector of fossil fuels by sharply increasing the operating costs for fossil fuel-fired power plant operators, forcing the plants’ premature retirement."

EV's to cause wealth transfer from Red to Blue regions

Behind EV Push, a Wealth Transfer From Red to Blue Regions

Federal electric vehicle mandates are being criticized as ‘class warfare’ with far reaching implications for certain parts of America.

President Joe Biden’s new EV mandates will likely prove to be a sizable wealth transfer from rural red regions of America to urban blue sections, and to wealthy Democrats who reside in them, according to reports.

On March 20, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized its tailpipe emissions rules for the auto industry starting in 2027.

These rules are the strictest in history and will effectively force carmakers to have one-third of new car sales be plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) by 2027 and more than two-thirds by 2032.

“This isn’t industrial policy,” Robert Bryce, author and energy analyst, told The Epoch Times. “In reality it’s a type of class warfare that will prevent low- and middle-income consumers from being able to afford new cars.”

And as many traditional car buyers struggle, the federal subsidies and incentives continue to flow, to the benefit of EV buyers.

The new EPA mandate is “aimed at accommodating a very narrow segment of the auto-buying public: wealthy, white Democrats who live in a handful of liberal communities,” Mr. Bryce said. “EV ownership is largely defined by class, ideology, and geography.”

Is our Water safe?

UPDATE: Sam Heady, Water Dept. Director, responed...see in comment section.

EPA data finds more than 70MILLION Americans are living in home with tap water that is laced with hormone-warping 'forever chemicals'

... is OUR area affected?

PFAS was present in 33 percent of systems tested by the US EPA last year
The tests were conducted at 3,700 water systems across the country in 2023
READ MORE: Chemicals in common products may contribute to early deaths

More than 70 million Americans are drinking from tap water that contains toxic 'forever chemicals' linked to cancer, official data suggests.

These microscopic, man-made chemicals, also known as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), can take thousands of years to break down in the environment or in the human body, hence the name 'forever chemicals.'

They have been linked to several lasting health problems, including several types of cancer, hormone disruption and liver damage and the health problems they cause are quietly costing the US $250 billion a year in healthcare.

I reached out to our Water Department Director, Sam Heady, to respond.

Environmental Protection Agency's Budget slashed

House Passes Bill That Would Slash EPA Budget By 40%

There's only so much you can do in Congress when only having the edge in the House of Representatives. Republicans are trying it anyway.

They just approved a bill in the House that would cut the EPA's budget by nearly 40%.

The agency pretends to be protecting the environment while just doing the dirty work of liberals.

"I am pleased to see the House pass my Interior and Environment Appropriations bill, and I thank my colleagues for their support of this fiscally responsible legislation," said Rep. Mike Simpson, R-Idaho, the chairman of the House Appropriation Committee's Interior and Environment Subcommittee.

"As Chairman of this subcommittee, I vowed to create a bill that reduces unnecessary federal spending while prioritizing the critical needs and essential functions within these agencies," he continued. "This bill does just that by reining in the Environmental Protection Agency, fighting the misguided Obama-era Waters of the United States rule, and barring an Endangered Species Act listing of the greater sage grouse."

Liberals do not want to reduce spending, ever--at all. Our national debt is unsustainable. And we keep borrowing from China and/or printing money...it's a sick joke on all Americans.

Climate Change based on a Hoax claim Scientists

Two Princeton, MIT Scientists Say EPA Climate Regulations Based on a ‘Hoax’

Physicist, meteorologist testify that the climate agenda is ‘disastrous’ for America

Two prominent climate scientists have taken on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new rules to cut CO2 emissions in electricity generation, arguing in testimony that the regulations “will be disastrous for the country, for no scientifically justifiable reason.”

Citing extensive data to support their case, William Happer, professor emeritus in physics at Princeton University, and Richard Lindzen, professor emeritus of atmospheric science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), argued that the claims used by the EPA to justify the new regulations are not based on scientific facts but rather political opinions and speculative models that have consistently proven to be wrong.

“All of the models that predict catastrophic global warming fail the key test of the scientific method: they grossly over-predict the warming versus actual data,” they stated. “The scientific method proves there is no risk that fossil fuels and carbon dioxide will cause catastrophic warming and extreme weather.”

They said: “600 million years of CO2 and temperature data contradict the theory that high levels of CO2 will cause catastrophic global warming.”

SCOTUS says No, No, No to Biden and EPA'S Overreach

Supreme Court Drops 9-0 Ruling on Biden

White House Floored by Unanimous Decision

To be sure, the Biden administration is making radical moves when we aren’t looking. Nearly every branch of the federal government is rushing ahead to put into place his socialist agenda. And that goes beyond simply taxing us into oblivion and spending billions on welfare programs.

Democrats also want to decide how you live your life, in nearly every situation. It won’t be long until they try to decide where you live or who you should marry! Biden’s EPA tried to pull a fast one on Americans who wanted to build a home near a wetland. But the Supreme Court had other ideas.

The high court’s unanimous 9-0 decision, which was delivered by Justice Samuel Alito, rejected the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) broad definition of Waters of the United States (WOTUS)

EPA has costly new regulation

House and Senate vote to overturn new EPA rule on heavy truck tailpipe emissions

The Republican-controlled House, with help from four Democrats, voted on Wednesday to overturn a strict new Environmental Protection Agency regulation on tailpipe emissions from heavy-duty trucks.

The final vote was 221-203 in favor of striking down the EPA regulation, and all Republicans but one, Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), were on the prevailing side along with Democratic Reps. Henry Cuellar (TX), Jared Golden (ME), Vincente Gonzalez (TX), and Mary Peltola (AK).

Unfortunately, President Joe Biden already announced his intent to veto the measure overturning the EPA's new truck emissions rule when the Senate passed a similar bill of disapproval in April.

So, both the House and the Senate voted against the EPA rule but Biden will approve it, a rule that will drive up costs for consumers, increase vehicle costs, and hurt good-paying jobs.

Biden's EPA Proposal

11th Avenue North
Lake Worth Beach

Biden EPA proposal on 'fossil fuel' power plant emissions would force many existing plants to shut down

The EPA's proposed rule would require existing and new power plants to dramatically reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 90 percent, using currently inefficient and cost-prohibitive so-called "carbon capture" technology, or be shut down by 2035, The Epoch Times reported.

A press release from the EPA on Thursday announced the new proposed carbon pollution standards for fossil fuel-fired power plants and put forward a number of broad estimates of the alleged benefits in terms of climate change and health.

"By proposing new standards for fossil fuel-fired power plants, EPA is delivering on its mission to reduce harmful pollution that threatens people’s health and well-being," EPA Administrator Michael Regan said. "EPA’s proposal relies on proven, readily available technologies to limit carbon pollution and seizes the momentum already underway in the power sector to move toward a cleaner future."

I would guess this is why the tree huggers in our city want the Electric Utility Director fired.

Another significant roadblock for the EPA's proposal is its legality, given that just last year the Supreme Court smacked down a similar proposal that dated back to the Obama administration and ruled that the EPA had overstepped its boundaries and had not been authorized by Congress to enact such sweeping regulations on the energy sector.

EPA Toughest Rules Ever

Biden EPA Announces Toughest-Ever Rules for Power Plant Emissions

After weeks of buildup, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) unveiled its strictest-ever rules for power produced using natural gas, coal, and oil that could spur the use of carbon capture technologies.

The standards released on May 11 would impact new and old power infrastructure, including new natural gas turbines and the country’s existing coal fleet. Though the United States still has hundreds of coal plants, the number of such installations has fallen sharply during the past decade.

Ahead of the EPA’s May 11 announcement, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) threw down the gauntlet on the looming proposals.

“I fear that this Administration’s commitment to their extreme ideology overshadows their responsibility to ensure long-lasting energy and economic security and I will oppose all EPA nominees until they halt their government overreach,” the lawmaker, who represents a conservative, fossil-fuel producing state, said in a May 10 statement.
