Trump: No More Debates with Kamala Harris

"We've done two debates; one against Biden and one against Harris"

Former President Donald Trump declared Thursday that there will be “NO THIRD DEBATE” with Vice President Kamala Harris, half an hour after an internal campaign poll showed his Democratic opponent got no polling bounce in key states while Trump got a “2-point bump” from their verbal sparring match on ABC News earlier this week.

“When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are ‘I WANT A REMATCH,’” Trump, 78, posted on his Truth Social. “Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate.”

After being a “no-show” at a pre-planned Fox News debate that President Biden negotiated, Harris also “refused to do NBC & CBS” debates against him, Trump claimed.

And now she wants more debates! Just can't keep up with her flip-flopping.

Harris rejects third debate

Kamala Harris rejects third debate with Trump: 'The debate about debates is over'

Kamala Harris' campaign has rejected Donald Trump's proposal to have three presidential debates, accusing him of playing "games" as Trump ramps up pressure on Harris to begin taking questions from reporters.

The Harris campaign agreed to debate Trump on ABC News on September 10, and debate again sometime in October.

Trump has proposed debating three times in September, a timeline that would give voters more opportunities to see the candidates on stage before early voting begins.

Historically, there have been at least two presidential debates, but in recent years the number has typically been three. Harris says Trump is playing games wanting three debates.

Donald Trump demands debaters take a drug test

Donald Trump made this debate demand

Bill Maher is still a dyed in the wool Democrat.

But he’s had his fill of the woke mob.

And now Donald Trump made this debate demand that left Bill Maher with only one thing to say. Donald Trump proposes pre-debate drug test. Maher said, “I think the guy who has more to prove is Biden.  But Biden, they want to see proof of life,” Maher stated

The big news in politics was Joe Biden pressing the panic button on his campaign and proposing two debates with Donald Trump.

Trump accepted and even agreed to the host conditions Biden put in place to try and rig the encounters in his favor.
  • There would be no live audience for the debates.
  • Only liberal networks like ABC and CNN could televise the contests.
  • Joe Biden loyalists like Jake Tapper and Dana Bash would moderate the debates.
But Trump accepted anyway, figuring Biden agreeing to debate was enough of a win since Biden would risk the entire country coming to the conclusion that he’s senile.

"Make My Day, Pal" says Joe 🤡

Trump Snaps Back With Blistering Response to Biden’s Debate Challenge

President Donald Trump wasted no time in responding to Joe Biden’s challenge to debate him, stating that he is “ready to rumble.” However, while Trump eagerly accepted the challenge, Biden’s camp is shying away from the idea and even proposing alternative rules and networks for the debates they do agree to.

Trump fired back at Biden’s claim that he lost two debates in 2020, calling him the “WORST debater” Trump has ever faced. He also criticized Biden’s record as president, labeling him as the “WORST President in the history of the United States” and pointing out several issues such as the open border policy, EV mandates, inflation, high taxes, and weak foreign policy.

Despite Biden’s challenge for two debates, the Biden campaign has stated that they will not participate in three debates organized by the Commission on Presidential Debates. This move has been seen as a way for the Biden campaign to dodge potential debates as Trump’s lead in the polls, including those in swing states, continues to grow.

Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again.

Debate viewers vs. Trump on X

Fox's Debate Ratings Disaster: 50% Drop Since 2016 Election

Fox News’ first Republican primary debate got a terrible response from American television viewers, with the broadcast losing about half the audience Fox’s kickoff debate had during the 2016 election.

The chairman of Fox, billionaire Rupert Murdoch, claimed in a 2021 email he was seeking to make Trump a "non-person." The reverse has happened since that decision as well as their decision to fire Tucker Carlson.

According to Nielsen, an estimated 12.8 million people watched Wednesday’s Republican debate.

But that’s a decline of almost 50% from the more than 24 million people who tuned in when Donald Trump appeared in his first presidential debate in August 2015, Nielsen reported.

The "Trump effect" was again witnessed in a January 2016 Republican primary debate hosted by Fox News that Trump also skipped — that debate also drew about 12.5 million people.

Trump said he boycotted the Republican debate this week for a number of reasons, including his large lead over other GOP rivals in the polls.

Social media platform X, formerly Twitter, reported that Tucker Carlson's interview with Trump had 236.7 million views — a count of how many times someone scrolled by Carlson's interview with Trump in their feeds.

RNC will not participate in Presidential Debates

RNC Votes to Withdraw From Commission on Presidential Debates

The Republican National Committee (RNC) voted unanimously Thursday to withdraw from the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), which governs the general election debates.

In a statement, RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the commission is “biased and has refused to enact simple and commonsense reforms to help ensure fair debates including hosting debates before voting begins and selecting moderators who have never worked for candidates on the debate stage.”

The Two Debates

Biden's Town Hall Was 'Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood' While Trump's Was 'President Vs. Guthrie,' Critics Say

ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos moderated Biden's in Philadelphia, while NBC's Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie moderated Trump's in Miami. And the two shows were drastically different in tone.

Critics were quick to suggest that it was due to contrasting approaches taken by the two moderators. "This is a town hall? Where is the town? It's just Savannah badgering. What a joke," Fox News host Greg Gutfeld tweeted.

Democrat Debates begin tonight

Lineup set for second Democratic presidential debate July 30 & 31

On Thursday, CNN announced the lineup for each night of the second presidential primary debate in Detroit, Michigan. To avoid one debate being labeled an undercard event, CNN used a random drawing to distribute the 20 presidential candidates that qualified across the two debate nights.

Democrats are Afraid

Democrats Exclude Fox News from Primary Debates

What this is all about --Democrats want to control the entirety of narrative in the United States. And if they don't, they cry and whine a lot. We have seen this for years now and the unfair treatment of President Trump. Democrats have the news media in their hip pocket but the one cable news channel that is fair and balanced and has the top ratings, (other than a few shows that are Opinion such as Watters, Hannity and Ingraham), they can not control. So, their only power is excluding them from their Democrat Primary Debates.

President Trump is the only one who calls a spade a spade--probably using the word "spade" a Democrat would call that "racist" because that's what liberals do. They take the silliest thing and turn it into a race war.

Democrats want to be the sole voice in our country.  They are not interested in another opinion and they hate Trump who was elected as an equal part of a three-branch government. Their goal is to bring down all conservatives. They would be happy with a one party system that now is turning more socialist every day. They love to call conservatives names but they are the fascists and now afraid of possible hardball questions for their candidates. Sorry group and a scary group...alarming for our Republic.

They have made a big mistake excluding Fox. I doubt if very many Republicans will tune in to their Primaries now. But it won't matter--none of them will be able to beat Donald Trump in 2020.

Candidates get Candid

Last night was the South Palm Park Candidate Forum at The Breach Club. The room was packed with people and three candidate's t-shirts were spotted: McVoy's, Robinson's and Polizzi's.

Candidates were asked to give their top five priorities. I will name the first one or two that they mentioned:
Omari Hardy: Crime/Roads
William Joseph: Safety
Herman Robinson: Sober Homes/Intralocal Partnerships
Maryann Polizzi: Sober Homes/Crime
Ellie Whittey: Money/Pool
Christopher McVoy: Sober Homes/Crime

They all were asked to rate the present city commission
Ellie Whittey: C
Herman Robinson: B+
Maryann Polizzi: B+
Christopher McVoy: C+
Omari Hardy: C
William Joseph: C

Every candidate indicated that they wanted to save our pool.
  • Christopher McVoy said, "It's an amenity...find the money. The commission [Trio] voted down the financing."
  • Herman Robinson wondered if it was spending "good money after bad but it was an amenity that we deserved."
  • Maryann Pollizzi stated that the pool  hours should not be relegated to only "29 hours a week...look at the budget...it should be opened...a fabulous pool."
  • Omari Hardy said that you can't "tinker with the parking rates" to raise revenue
  • Ellie Whittey said it was a "vibrant part of our community."
  • William Joseph said "get a budget."
