Actor James Woods Blasts Soros-Funded DA Over Deaths of Two Police Officers: 'Blood on His Hands'

Two Los Angeles-area police officers are dead after an ambush shooting by a felon who reportedly should have been behind bars.

The criminal is dead now, too, but so are El Monte, California, police Cpl. Michael Paredes and Officer Joseph Santana.

And Hollywood conservative James Woods is blasting the man he believes is responsible: Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón.

More than 50 percent spike in deaths among Los Angeles County’s homeless population

which happened during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to recently released data, which found that it was mainly driven by overdoses—not COVID-19.

Los Angeles County, which has been dominated by Democratic executives and elected officials for years, said that between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021, some 1,988 overall deaths among the homeless were recorded. That’s up about 56 percent from 1,271 deaths during the same time period one year earlier, said a report from the LA Department of Public Health, dated April 22.

As a result, the county concluded that drug overdoses remained the top cause of death among homeless individuals during that time-frame. Overdose deaths also increased 78 percent “from the pre- to post-pandemic onset year,” the country wrote.

And then there is George Gascon--And in what the New York Times called “a rare, if not unprecedented, move by an American prosecutor,” Gascón also declared his intent to effectively “end very long sentences — in pending cases as well as new ones — for some of the most serious crimes, including murder.”

Democrats and liberal policies have ruined the City of Angels.

A violent offender, Hanna Tubbs, convicted of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl will serve her sentence in a Los Angeles County youth facility, despite being 26 years old. Hannah Tubbs, who identifies as a transgender female, has a lengthy criminal record including violent crimes in multiple states. A DNA match in 2019 linked Tubbs to a sexual assault at a Denny's restaurant in Palmdale that occurred in 2014. Tubbs admitted to the sexual assault and said it happened in the restaurant's bathroom. The violent crime happened just before her 18th birthday, and Tubbs remained free of charges until the DNA match. The case was prosecuted in juvenile court and was not transferred to adult court due to Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón's policy that states juveniles won't be prosecuted as adults. A juvenile judge sentenced Tubbs to two years in a juvenile facility.
