That’s not hyperbole or partisan spin. That’s the cold, hard truth staring us in the face from Miami, where a 42-year-old man died on a hospital bed with a bullet in his stomach because bureaucrats in Washington made a choice that put ideology over common sense.

William Serrano Domenech, the man charged with killing Aballe, shouldn’t have been walking American streets. The 49-year-old Cuban national had a criminal record so extensive it reads like a tour of America’s most permissive immigration policies.

We’re talking convictions across Florida and Michigan for drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession. Arrests in New Mexico and Tennessee for aggravated assault, theft, and resisting arrest. This wasn’t some guy who overstayed a visa and kept his nose clean. This was a career criminal who somehow remained in our country despite giving us every reason to show him the door.

Here’s where it gets infuriating. ICE had Domenech in custody in 2023. They had him. And the Biden Administration let him go.

Luigi Mangione admitted in a Manhattan federal courtroom Friday that he shot and killed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a guilty plea that could now upend the separate state murder case against him.

The 28-year-old defendant, hands uncuffed behind his back and ankles shackled, stood in a beige prison jumpsuit and read from a written letter before U.S. District Judge Margaret Garnett. His voice was solemn, close to choking up, as he delivered the words that ended months of legal maneuvering.

Mangione pleaded guilty to two federal counts, interstate stalking resulting in death and stalking through use of interstate facilities resulting in death, charges that carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.

The plea spares him a federal trial that had been set to begin in January, but it opens a new legal front: his defense team plans to argue that a separate New York state murder prosecution would amount to double jeopardy.

Racist Parole Supervisor fired for supporting a Murderer

Texas parole supervisor fired after celebrating the death of Austin Metcalf online

A 35-year-old Texas parole supervisor lost her job with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice after posting inflammatory statements on Facebook about the family of Austin Metcalf, the 17-year-old fatally stabbed at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas, in April 2025.

Donna Murray Robinson, a Houston native who identified herself on social media as a parole supervisor with TDCJ, wrote that she did not care about the Metcalf family's grief, and openly celebrated the teenager's death along racial lines. The posts surfaced after Karmelo Anthony, 19, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to 35 years in prison for the stabbing.

Robinson's bosses caught wind of the posts, and the department fired her, a TDCJ spokesperson told the Dallas Morning News. The agency did not equivocate. It said her words disqualified her from the work she was paid to do.

Screenshots of Robinson's now-deleted Facebook account, obtained by the Daily Mail and reported by the New York Post, show a series of statements that went far beyond any defensible opinion about the case. Robinson wrote:

• "I for one don't give a f** about the family's loss."
• "It's about time these f***ing [sic] bigots feel the pain that they have inflicted on other groups of people since the beginning of time!"
• "I'm just glad we didn't have to bury another black child. Let them start burying some of theirs for a change. F***'em [sic] I said what I said."
• Robinson also claimed Anthony would be "protected" by fellow inmates in prison.

She did not respond to requests for comment from either the Dallas Morning News or the Daily Mail.

A 40-year-old auditor for the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Inspector General was shot and stabbed while walking her dog in Atlanta on Monday morning.

She was one of three victims targeted in a series of random attacks that left two women dead and a homeless man critically wounded, according to federal and local authorities.

Lauren Bullis, originally from Louisiana, was attacked around 7 a.m. The suspect, 26-year-old Olaolukitan Adon-Abel, had become a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2022 and carried a criminal record that included convictions for sexual battery, assault with a deadly weapon, battery against a police officer, and obstruction, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin revealed.

Luigi Mangione musical set to make New York City debut in the summer

They’re bringing a musical about Luigi Mangione to New York this summer

The show started in San Francisco. Now it’s headed to The Green Room 24 for a staged reading on June 15.

That’s the same city where, prosecutors say, Mangione allegedly shot a man in the back. The accused is still facing legal proceedings. Critics say the timing is tone-deaf. Families of victims say it’s painful. A lot of people are angry.

“Luigi: The Musical,” a musical based around UnitedHealthcare CEO murder suspect Luigi Mangione, will premiere in New York City this June.

The Green Room 24 will hold a staged reading of the musical on June 15 with the cast yet to be announced. This will be one year after the musical premiered to sold-out shows in San Francisco.

According to a press release, the musical was “inspired by the bizarre true story of three high-profile inmates (Luigi Mangione, Diddy and Sam Bankman Fried) who were all held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn at the same time.”

Victoria Sorocean fled Moldova in 2013 after she and an accomplice committed one of the most brutal murders imaginable. The pair lured their victim into an apartment in Chisinau, Moldova's capital, where they tortured the person for hours.

Sorocean and her accomplice beat their victim with a stick and electrical cable before throwing the person out a ninth-floor window.

A Moldovan court convicted Sorocean of premeditated murder with exceptional cruelty and sentenced her to 17 years in prison. Rather than face justice, Sorocean fled to the United States.

ICE arrested her on January 10, 2020 during President Trump's first term. But Sorocean gamed the system by filing multiple legal appeals and asylum claims to delay her removal.

Then the Biden administration took over in 2021. And in 2022, Biden's Department of Homeland Security released Sorocean back into American neighborhoods.

She walked free for three years while Trump was out of office. That changed when Trump returned to the White House in January 2025. ICE re-arrested Sorocean on November 4 in Los Angeles and she now sits in custody awaiting deportation.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” Sept. 14 that the man suspected of killing Charlie Kirk in the middle of an event Kirk spoke at on Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University has invoked his Fifth Amendment rights.

The suspect, Tyler Robinson, is 22. He is in a special housing unit at Utah County Jail until he is cleared by medical staff as he waits for formal charges, according to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, ABC4 — ABC’s affiliate in Salt Lake City — reported Sept. 14.

After medical staff clear Robinson, he will be placed in housing according to the charges he’s booked on, Sgt. Ray Ormond of Utah County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement, according to ABC4.

Those charges are aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm — causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice — capital/first-degree felony conduct, the article said.

According to Cox, Robinson has a boyfriend who is “transitioning from male to female,” and he has been “very cooperative with authorities,” unlike Robinson. Cox said they’ve learned Robinson’s boyfriend, who’s also his roommate, did not have any knowledge about Robinson’s plan and was shocked to find out that Robinson has been suspected of killing Kirk.

The Department of Homeland Security stated the killing was "completely preventable," blaming the previous administration's policy of not deporting to third-party countries.

"This gruesome, savage slaying of a victim at a motel by Yordanis Cobos-Martinez was completely preventable if this criminal illegal alien was not released by the Biden administration because Cuba would not take him back," the department said.

"President Trump and Secretary Noem are no longer allowing barbaric criminals to indefinitely remain in America."

Suspected political assassin Vance Luther Boelter was captured Sunday following an intense manhunt for the gunman accused of murdering a Minnesota state lawmaker and wounding another, state officials announced.

Boelter, a 57-year-old former appointee by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, was sought by police for allegedly shooting Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, and fatally shooting former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband.

“After a two-day manhunt and two sleepless nights, law enforcement have apprehended Vance Boelter,” Walz said during a press briefing.

It was a resident’s trail camera he passed in a rural town that tripped him up, according to the Star Tribune.

“Most of the search had concluded then,” Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher said. “But the trail cam picture alerted SWAT teams to go to the area, search a perimeter and with the help of drones, identify his location.”

Jesus Ayala, who was 17 when he was allegedly driving a stolen car used to murder a former California police chief who was out riding his bike on the morning of Aug. 14, showed no remorse at all for his actions in court, according to KLAS-TV.

In court, Las Vegas Police prosecutors said that the suspect boasted that because he was a juvenile he would never do any real time for his crime spree and that he'd end up with just a "slap on the wrist" in the courts.

"You think this juvenile [expletive] is gonna do some [expletive]? I’ll be out in 30 days, I’ll bet you," an officer told the court that the teen said as he was being arrested.
