2 women, suspected gunman dead after shooting at Greenacres condominium complex

Two women and the suspected gunman are dead after a shooting in Greenacres on Monday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting occurred just after 7 a.m. near the 500 block of Shady Pine Way at the Pine Ridge North 1 condominiums. When deputies arrived, they found one woman dead and another suffering from gunshot wounds.

The second woman was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.

After deputies tried to make contact with the suspect inside his home, the PBSO SWAT team responded.

After executing a search warrant of the home, deputies say the suspect was found dead from a gunshot wound.

The sheriff's office says the two victims and the gunman knew each other.

In 2022, Friend made headlines after he refused to take part in a planned FBI SWAT raid in Florida on a nonviolent January 6 suspect. He stated that the surprise, armed raids being conducted on people who had at most committed misdemeanor trespassing were dangerous, unwarranted, and politically motivated.

He subsequently lost his job.

Since President Trump was elected to a second term, whistleblower advocates have been working to help him and other FBI agents claiming retaliation to get back their jobs or reach suitable settlements.

The turn of events for Friend was announced along with a host of other whistleblower settlements.

Some, like Friend, fought what they saw as FBI overreach involving the January 6 investigations. Three are being reinstated to duty while others who are still employed are being allowed voluntary retirement.

Vance Boelter Captured

Minnesota suspected assassin Vance Boelter captured alive after intense manhunt

Suspected political assassin Vance Luther Boelter was captured Sunday following an intense manhunt for the gunman accused of murdering a Minnesota state lawmaker and wounding another, state officials announced.

Boelter, a 57-year-old former appointee by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, was sought by police for allegedly shooting Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, and fatally shooting former Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband.

“After a two-day manhunt and two sleepless nights, law enforcement have apprehended Vance Boelter,” Walz said during a press briefing.

It was a resident’s trail camera he passed in a rural town that tripped him up, according to the Star Tribune.

“Most of the search had concluded then,” Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher said. “But the trail cam picture alerted SWAT teams to go to the area, search a perimeter and with the help of drones, identify his location.”

Executive director of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport seriously wounded after exchanging gunfire with feds

The executive director of an airport in Arkansas is fighting for his life after reportedly exchanging gunfire with federal agents who showed up at his residence to serve a search warrant earlier this week.

At around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives arrived to serve a search warrant at a residence in Little Rock owned by Bryan Malinowski, the 53-year-old executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. Suddenly, during an execution of the warrant, shots rang out, leaving two wounded, including Malinowski.

He sustained a shot to the head and was on life support. We may never know his side of this horrendous incident.

My guess--he had no idea who was beating in his door or for what reason.

No-knock raids by SWAT are dangerously subjective. They have been known to even go to the wrong house. This reminds me of when the government went after Trump supporter, Roger Stone...FBI agents raided Roger Stone's home at pre-dawn in South Florida and took him into custody.

Stone was sentenced to three years and four months and his sentence was commuted by Donald Trump.

If you don’t think the radical left wants to obliterate the Second Amendment, just look at what happened in Joe Biden’s own state. Each time liberals squeak another fragment of legislation through, Americans inch closer to having their “right to bear arms” erased.

Once it’s gone, we will not get it back without a fight. But what happened in Delaware recently defies more constitutional rights than just the right to legally own a firearm. Two ATF agents, plus a Delaware State Trooper, violated the right to unlawful search and seizure as well.

It's so much more that the Democrats are doing beside guns...it is treating our constitution like trash.

So, if I were to go out and buy two guns, I could have a swat team at my door in full tactical gear no less? No warrant?

1-28-16 An armed man barricaded himself in a home on South F Street in Lake Worth, prompting the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to send in the SWAT team just before 2:30 p.m.

I don't know if this guy is involved in the shooting earlier today.  Same neighborhood.

This morning, I watched the Community Safety Roundtable symposium for a couple of hours held at the Palm Beach County Commission chambers to talk about police tactics and where citizens could express their concerns.  This was organized by mayor Priscilla Taylor because of the recent incidents in Ferguson and Baltimore. Police chiefs from several communities were there.  Rick Bradshaw had another commitment.

The purposes was to open a dialogue with the public as well as the police in order to discuss, bad officers, over zealous policing as well as the dangers police officers face every day and try to come to some sort of understanding between the police and the people they serve.

Then this afternoon, 20 SWAT officers conducted a drug raid on a house in Palm Springs and did $10,000 worth of damage tearing up the place while serving a warrant. Only problem, it was the wrong house. PBSO even ripped out her security cameras. The owner says she doesn't have the money to make repairs and the PBSO says she needs to front the money before she gets reimbursed.

This is exactly what the public is talking about when they cite problems with the police.

Law enforcement is taking civil disturbance training in order to get ready for all the liberals and crazies out there who believe that they are picked on unjustly by society in general.

"Along with Broward Sheriff's Office, five other area agencies -- including our very own Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, Davie Police, Sunrise Police, Margate Police and Miramar Police -- took part in the training that took place at Central Broward Regional Park.

Officials believe the training is completely necessary, especially with recent events. 'These drills and this training is critically important," said Broward Sheriff Scott Israel, 'because if we have an incident like Ferguson, it's probable that many agencies are going to be working together to resolve the issue. Riots are going to spread over different towns and communities, so that exchange in the interoperability becomes critically important'."  Read about it...

It was less than a decade ago when Nadine Burns called SWAT on a handful of female residents for petitioning in front of a store that gave them permission to set up a table on his property, not the city's.  The city council and the Chamber were incensed that we were there exercising our constitutional rights.

Now society has digressed so badly in this republic of ours as the police are training for revolution and the possibility of disgruntled thugs, punks and communists burning down stores or communities and more citizen deaths as was done in Ferguson.. What in the hell has happened to our country?

It's no longer just about a couple of harmless gals in the downtown Lake Worth. Nadine Burns used to say then, "It's about the bigger picture." How little did she know that our entire society would collapse.

The Federalization and Militarization of our Police

Years ago I remember Cara Jennings brought up the possibility that the police were over-stepping their authority and that they needed to go through proper channels for search and seizure, etc.  Of course, her political enemies went wild with that one calling her anti-police and at the same time hurling the dreaded "A" word...anarchist.  Now I have to wonder if she didn't have an eye into the window of the future. More and more police atrocities are being reported.  Are we becoming a police state?  Are they really using hollow point bullets?  Shoot first and ask questions later?

WND founder and CEO Joseph Farah began reporting the trend to militarize the police in 1998 and not too many people were paying attention, I for one. We even have Cpt. Silva in FBI training right now.

The biggest danger we face is the federalization and militarization of all law enforcement. Interagency task forces, bringing together local and state police with federal agents are now the rule of the day,” Farah noted. “Federal agencies bribe local cops with funding, equipment and training programs.

The challenge to the Fourth Amendment generated by the use of SWAT teams and no-knock warrants is likely to continue as a result of a ruling by the Indiana Supreme Court in 2011. I still can't forget the Chamber and Ramiccio calling SWAT on us for petitioning downtown.

In a 3-2 ruling, the court ruled that there is no right for a private citizen to resist illegal entry by a police officer. The court stated in its ruling “that there is no right to reasonably resist unlawful entry by police officers.”

 As it's something to think about and an eye opener as police home invasions have increased from 3,000 a year in the 1980's to 80,000 a year now.  It's a NO knock policy with way too many mistakes. Innocent people are getting killed and their homes being destroyed while bypassing the 4th Amendment
